I have no words for how amazing this book was！ I thought the movie was good but this book has made me love and appreciate it so much more！ That ending was just so amazing and thanks to the movie I was able to imagine katniss，s face and it made the whole experience so much better everyone needs to read and watch this series now！

This book is intense， during your first read there are going to be moments where you don't understand why it was written like that。 It isn't until the end of the book where you realize what's happening， the plan itself is so intricate and well thought out that you'll want to clap when it is revealed in the end。 The book is a sequel to the first hunger games novel。 It follows the effect of what Katniss' decision in the last novel's end had on the characters。 What she had done was considered a hug This book is intense， during your first read there are going to be moments where you don't understand why it was written like that。 It isn't until the end of the book where you realize what's happening， the plan itself is so intricate and well thought out that you'll want to clap when it is revealed in the end。 The book is a sequel to the first hunger games novel。 It follows the effect of what Katniss' decision in the last novel's end had on the characters。 What she had done was considered a huge middle finger to the capital。 In this novel the capital strikes back， this pushes katniss to the front of the revolution。 This novel is just the explanation of the beginning of the revolution， we are also introduced to new characters just as interesting as katniss。 They all have lives that have been affected by the capital in the worst ways。 These characters are basically supposed to be different views and outcomes of living in a dystopian society。 The novel is a setup for the next book。 But it also meant to show that even though the capital favored its winners and even people sent from the nicer districts like 1，2 or 3 the real villain is the capital not its citizens but its president。 In this novel katniss discovers that president snow has an actual vendetta against her due to how she won the game。 If I were to teach this book in class I would use reading circles featuring different dystopian novels， asking what is the main problem？ who is the real villain？ and how would they handle this？ 。。。more

3。5/5 ⭐️This book in my opinion was way better than the first。 things i liked: I loved how close they made the movie to the book。 It’s crazy how similar they are to each other。 I like how Katniss was so smart in this one （though did she do dumb things sometimes？Yes） things i didn’t like: i didn’t like how the games started 200 and something pages into the book as well as how Finnick was a bit different from the movie。 overall i really enjoyed this book。

Me gusto menos que el primero， pero estuvo bien， se mantuvo。Admito que tuve como un desanimo a mitad del libro， pero estuvo bien， lo sobrelleve y termine el libro。 No se puede decir que estoy en racha con la saga， puesto que estoy terminando los libros un poco más lento de lo que me gustaría。En cuanto a trama， me sentí perdida la mitad del tiempo。 Esta idea de vencedores contra vencedores no me terminó de gustar， pero admito que funcionó。 Es claro que ya sabía cómo terminaba la historia y me aco Me gusto menos que el primero， pero estuvo bien， se mantuvo。Admito que tuve como un desanimo a mitad del libro， pero estuvo bien， lo sobrelleve y termine el libro。 No se puede decir que estoy en racha con la saga， puesto que estoy terminando los libros un poco más lento de lo que me gustaría。En cuanto a trama， me sentí perdida la mitad del tiempo。 Esta idea de vencedores contra vencedores no me terminó de gustar， pero admito que funcionó。 Es claro que ya sabía cómo terminaba la historia y me acordaba de uno que otro detalle （lo que no me acuerdo es nada de la tercera película， tal vez un poco del inicio pero nada más， será interesante verlo desde esa perspectiva de ignorancia）。Katniss no tiene crecimiento como personaje más allá de la nueva revelación de salvar a Peeta y sobrevivir。 El "romance" con Gale quedo reducido a unos dos besos， así que yo no lo llamaría explorar aguas sino remojar los pies， sin embargo， creo que no lo necesito。 Peeta es la opción sensata， aunque no me guste mucho es obvio que Katniss lo escogió。Jamás me había pasado esto de que me gustará el trío amoroso y no me decantará por el escogido。 No me paso en Twilight con Jacob， puesto que siempre fui team Edward。 No me paso mucho menos en Sangre azul con el triángulo amoroso de Dimitri， Rosé y Adrian donde también de manera obvia escogí a Dimitri。 Bueno， justo ahora no recuerdo más triángulos amorosos， supongo que no son mi trope favorito。 Aunque sí me gustan mucho los celos escenificados。También lloré en este libro， solo que esta vez solo fue una。 La muerte de Mags， de nuevo ya sabía que moría y la manera en que lo hacía。 Pero eso no quito la tristeza del momento， de nuevo， todo se reduce a un sacrifico más。 Esta vez fue por elección， pero es otro peso más para Katniss。 En personajes que me gustaron tengo a Finnick， Johanna， Bettee y la que se murió a orillas del lago。 Estoy emocionada de terminar la trilogía， no me leeré el preludio de Snow。 Según reseñas no es tan bueno y no aporta nada a la trama。 Luego voy por ti Divergente， aunque ya me spoilee el final。 。。。more
