I loved this！ I think it was a really interesting alternate reality！ I do think the world building could’ve been developed a little bit more， what with the whole new apocalyptic setting。

DCміляція кілька місяців простояв на поличці не дарма。 Як виявилося， читати цей мальопис після перегляду "Ліги Справедливості Зака Снайдера" — ідеальний варіант。 По суті， початок коміксу — це закінчення Снайдеркату， з деякими відмінностями， та все ж。Якщо коротко， на мою суб’єктивну думку， DCміляція — доволі суперечливий твір， який має всі складові， щоби бути “хорошим” мальописом， але також має кілька хиб， які залишають місце для “але”。Українська DCміляція повністю відповідає колекційному оригіна DCміляція кілька місяців простояв на поличці не дарма。 Як виявилося， читати цей мальопис після перегляду "Ліги Справедливості Зака Снайдера" — ідеальний варіант。 По суті， початок коміксу — це закінчення Снайдеркату， з деякими відмінностями， та все ж。Якщо коротко， на мою суб’єктивну думку， DCміляція — доволі суперечливий твір， який має всі складові， щоби бути “хорошим” мальописом， але також має кілька хиб， які залишають місце для “але”。Українська DCміляція повністю відповідає колекційному оригінальному виданню DCeased （окремий уклін за влучну адаптацію назви） за винятком арту на обкладинці。 Рідна Мова використала арт із Джокером， з лімітованої серії， чим мене неймовірно потішила， хоча Джок у цій мальованій історії лише епізодичний персонаж， але арт надзвичайно атмосферний。 Під однією обкладинкою， окрім безпосередньо DCміляції， яка містить 6-ть номерів оригінальної історії， присутній також спін-офф «DCміляція: Гарний день， щоб померти» який певним чином урізноманітнює основний сюжет。DCміляція — це закінчена， самостійна історія， і це прекрасно。 Всі події починаються і закінчуються на альтернативній Землі， тож вам не потрібно читати “пісятисяч” мальописів， щоби зрозуміти， що відбувається і ще стільки ж， щоб зрозуміти чим все це закінчилося。 Та все ж декілька незручних моментів читач муситиме пережити， адже за сюжетом він зустріне кілька супергероїв， про існування яких， навряд чи здогадувався раніше。Загалом до сюжету від Тіма Тейлора в мене немає особливих претензій， все достатньо динамічно， вдоста драми та цілий розсип улюблених персонажів。 До роботи художників і колориста теж зауважень не те щоб багато， є тут і епічна маханина， і ефектні розвороти。 “То якого біса ти скиглиш？” — спитаєте ви。Гм， розумієте в чому справа， сюжет і малюнок не працюють， коли вони вкупі。 Так-так， якщо окремо почитати історію， а потім повтикати в малюнок， все чудово， як тільки автори роблять спробу грати разом， все це перетворюється на мішанину та убогу спробу вичавити з читача сльозу примітивними прийомами。 Більшість спроб спрямувати сюжет і візуал в одне русло， схожі на приказку “Хто в ліс， а хто по дрова”。 Хоча， беручи до уваги сучасний “конвеєрний” підхід до створення коміксів， особливо у великої двійки — це не те щоб дивує。Притлумити цей сумнівний післясмак допомагає Джон Костянтин， я насправді кайфонув від фірмових， саркастичних фразочок і з задоволенням спостерігав за характерною імпульсивністю та непередбачуваністю персонажа。Також до плюсів зарахував би закінчення основного сюжету， хоча я б волів аби він був ще жорсткіший， але DCміляція слідує трендам і відходить від класичних гепі-ендів， що не може не радувати。Начебто все сказав， про зав’язку та сюжет я умисне не згадував， все， що треба знати перед прочитанням коміксу， ви знайдете в описі на сайті видавництва。 Моя ціль максимально лаконічно окреслити свої суб’єктивні думки， спровокувати на дискусію та роздуми。Маю надію， що впорався。 。。。more

I love superheroes and I love zombies， but was never interested in a crossover between the two things。 In 2005， Marvel did this with Marvel Zombies， in which Earth’s Mightiest Heroes were zombified， spawning multiple series over the years， none of which I read。 So when I heard that DC was going to do a similar thing， my heart sank。 However， upon reading some of Tom Taylor’s work， including his short-lived， but great run on Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man， I was interested to see how he was goin I love superheroes and I love zombies， but was never interested in a crossover between the two things。 In 2005， Marvel did this with Marvel Zombies， in which Earth’s Mightiest Heroes were zombified， spawning multiple series over the years， none of which I read。 So when I heard that DC was going to do a similar thing， my heart sank。 However， upon reading some of Tom Taylor’s work， including his short-lived， but great run on Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man， I was interested to see how he was going to zombified the iconic DC characters。In the aftermath of a battle with the forces of Apokolips， the Justice League discovers that Cyborg has been kidnapped。 Discovering that Cyborg possesses one-half of the Anti-Life Equation， Darkseid intends to merge it with the half already in his possession。 In merging the Anti-Life Equation together， it becomes corrupted， manifesting itself as a techno-organic virus， which finds it onto Earth。 With hundreds of millions of people being infected instantly by the virus， turning them into a feral zombie-like state that attacks any uninfected in sight， the Justice League attempt to fight back against the infection， without realising that the most powerful beings can turn。From watching all of George A。 Romero’s Dead movies to episodes of The Walking Dead， the key to a great zombie story is put characters through the ringer and see which one of them will come out unscathed。 Tom Taylor embraces this idea， which is perfectly sealed at the end of the first issue where the World’s Greatest Detective becomes infected。 Obviously， there’s more to DC than just Batman as the book explores a plethora of DC characters going through this zombie apocalypse， but if one of the most popular characters bites the dust， any can go。You can argue that Taylor juggles too many characters， which is always the case of crisis-level events。 Along with the main six issues， you have the one-shot A Good Day to Die， where characters like Mister Miracle and Big Barda survey the destruction of Apokolips， whilst Constantine decides to a hero at the perfect time when the world is about to come to an end。 There are some fun interactions， including Constantine’s few scenes with Detective Chimp， but the issue doesn’t serve the main storyline。Whilst you have heroes like Superman， who will continue to do the right thing， DCeased ends up being about how doing the right thing isn’t enough， which may seem bleak for a superhero story， but this is the apocalypse where these mighty heroes can lose， and the endgame is whether or not they can survive。 In terms of particular players who get the spotlight， if you have Jon Kent and Damian Wayne， who ultimately have to live up to their fathers’ legacies， whilst Lois Lane provides the narration throughout the book， giving the human perspective to this whole ordeal。 Amidst the doom and gloom， Taylor is able to provide some humour， which largely comes from Green Arrow， who discovers that Batman never saw him as a series threat。From the brutally detailed variant covers by Francesco Mattina， this is a comic not for the kiddies。 With Trevor Hairsine doing most of the interior art， there is nothing glamourous seeing these colourful characters going through a horrific transformation， in which they are bloodied up and their suits are torn to shreds。 Despite Hairsine’s impressively gritty art-style， the book does suffer from other artists being thrown into the mix， which can be jarring， especially when you have Darrick Robertson’s distinctive work cropping up in a number of pages。After my initial worries， I was really impressed with Tom Taylor and Trevor Hairsine tell a brutal zombie story set within an alternative version of the DC universe， which ended up being very poignant。 。。。more

I had heard the complaints from people before they read it about how it is just Marvel Zombies but this takes already set ideas and known issues in DC and uses them。 They are not zombies， they are anti life made flesh。 I don't want to say to much but the twists are pretty good。 Many that you expect to die/become un alive don't or at least not right away and some that you expected to be saviors lose early and hard。While some things you can see there are enough "Did not see that coming" moments to I had heard the complaints from people before they read it about how it is just Marvel Zombies but this takes already set ideas and known issues in DC and uses them。 They are not zombies， they are anti life made flesh。 I don't want to say to much but the twists are pretty good。 Many that you expect to die/become un alive don't or at least not right away and some that you expected to be saviors lose early and hard。While some things you can see there are enough "Did not see that coming" moments to make this book worth the read。 How would the heroes we all grew up with， both the grim and the shining beacons handle a world that is fully infected？ Well worth a read， some of the follow ups or add on's are good but others don't hold up。 Unkillable is clever but the digital only one is not as good。 Still this is well worth a read if you can handle or like darker material。 。。。more

В мене були дуже погані очікування щодо коміксу «DCміліяція»， бо оця вся тема з зомбі， яку певний час тому впихали куди тільки можна， мене конкретно так підзаїбала， та й стала заїждженою до дір。 Але якимось дивом Том Тейлор зумів не лише вписати гармонійно цю тематику у мультивсесвіт DC Comics， а й зробити це охуєнним коміксом， від якого просто зриває дах。Сам сюжет доволі банальний – Ліга справедливості дає пизди Дарксайду， але той викрадає Кіборга та за його допомогою відкриває рівняння антижит В мене були дуже погані очікування щодо коміксу «DCміліяція»， бо оця вся тема з зомбі， яку певний час тому впихали куди тільки можна， мене конкретно так підзаїбала， та й стала заїждженою до дір。 Але якимось дивом Том Тейлор зумів не лише вписати гармонійно цю тематику у мультивсесвіт DC Comics， а й зробити це охуєнним коміксом， від якого просто зриває дах。Сам сюжет доволі банальний – Ліга справедливості дає пизди Дарксайду， але той викрадає Кіборга та за його допомогою відкриває рівняння антижиття， але фактично є вірусом。 Кіборг встигає з'їбати на Землю， але через нього вірус потрапляє на нашу планету та починає їбашити всіх підряд。 Герої намагаються врятувати людей， лиходії теж намагаються щось рятувати （бо вірусу ж похуй хороший ти чи поганий）。 Вся інтрига для читача зводиться до того， хто ж виживе до кінця цього мальопису， а кому настане пиздець。 І це все подано з такою шаленою динамікою та драйвом， що ти просто не встигаєш за подіями， які відбуваються в кадрі。 Герої мруть один за одним і тим， хто залишився， доводиться боротися зі своїми друзями та побратимами， які були нормальні ще кілька хвилин тому。 Зрозуміло， що ця вся шняга погіршується завдяки суперсилам， які має той чи інший персонаж。Малюнок не виглядає чимось неймовірним， але цілком пасує до класичної супергероїки， якою і є цей комікс。 Попри спробу залізти на територію жахів， це творіння все одно виглядає як класичний том історій про Лігу справедливості。 Всі акценти， які робив художник， спрямовані саме на те， щоб збільшити динаміку оповіді， щоб читачі не затримувалися на сторінці розглядаючи зайві деталі， а летіли за подіями з тією ж їбанутою швидкістю， з якою вони розвиваються。 Це один з тих випадків， коли простіший малюнок йде коміксу на користь。Рекомендую всім любителям супергероїки。 І хоч сюжет об'єктивно тягне десь на сімку， а малюнок тримається десь в тому ж районі， але загальне враження дуже пиздате завдяки дикій швидкості розвитку сюжету， яка дуже грамотно зроблена。Сюжет: 7/10Малюнок: 7/10Оцінка: 9/10 （отака незвична хуйня） 。。。more

Фінал ДіСі-Всесвіту， де несміливо експлуатують ідею видавництва "Марвел"， яка лежала на поверхні: просто додайте зомбі。 Але， нажаль， це фінал альтернативного всесвіту， тобто на основний таймлайн впливу не має。До марвелівського варіанту ця робота не дотягує。 Самоіронія на нулі， зомбі-гумору немає （хоча сам жанр якби підштовхує）， всі серйозні та в очікуванні， що стане ще гірше。 А воно вже не дуже， бо сам спосіб початкового зараження - це ж явна відсилка до Кінгівського “Мобільника”。І хоча у цьому Фінал ДіСі-Всесвіту， де несміливо експлуатують ідею видавництва "Марвел"， яка лежала на поверхні: просто додайте зомбі。 Але， нажаль， це фінал альтернативного всесвіту， тобто на основний таймлайн впливу не має。До марвелівського варіанту ця робота не дотягує。 Самоіронія на нулі， зомбі-гумору немає （хоча сам жанр якби підштовхує）， всі серйозні та в очікуванні， що стане ще гірше。 А воно вже не дуже， бо сам спосіб початкового зараження - це ж явна відсилка до Кінгівського “Мобільника”。І хоча у цьому спіноффі є кілька дуже ефектних сцен， які справді можуть здивувати （все ж автори недарма заробляють на свій батон з ікрою）， та пересилити нависаючий авторитет надто серйозної супергероїки， яку у компанії ДіСі виробляли роками， їм не вдається。 Хай скільки ти не тицяй в читача відомою фразою про "мені казали， що чудовиськ не існує"， хай які альтернативні обкладинки з обігруванням культових кіножахіть не малюй， хай яких супергероїв не вбивай - ті дві сотні сторінок сюжету треба наповнити так， щоб сподобалось не лише фанатам твого всесвіту， але й тим， хто любить трешак про живих мерців。 А тут явно цілили у цю аудиторію。 Стрельнули та промазали。Діалоги швидкі， від них не втомлюєшся， все до місця， читається дуже гладенько - та це лише тінь історії про зомбі。 Яскрава， інколи смілива， але тінь， яка боїться переповзти через певні ліміти。 Навіть відомі персонажі， яких перетворюють на кровожерливих чудовиськ， тут виглядають не дуже пожованими。 Так， когось розриває навпіл， комусь відривають руки чи голови - та це навіть не сприймається саме як складова зомбі-трешу。 Це якось навіть。。。 банально， для галочки。 。。。more
