Summary

'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me。 I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running。 He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again。 His kiss frightened me。 There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us。 As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself。。。

The first one, twilight, is still my favorite but I got super super pulled into this one!!

Pretty good but I got kinda bored with the whole Victoria plot thing and the whole time I was super excited for Breaking Dawn。 But its crucial you get through this book to fully absorb the awesomeness of Breaking Dawn。

Infuriating and wonderful I cried, I laughed, I got very angry。 I fell deep into this book as I read it and cursed its characters and their actions, complained about injustices and unfairness, blamed first Edward, then Jacob and judged Bella。 But I loved it。 And I love that it gave me more than the films。

——- Mild spoilers (just about Jacob), and some unladylike language :D ——-———————————————————————————Well, well, well。 It has taken me so long to write this。 That’s because I’ve been reading like a million other things haha。 And this is my first time EVER reading the Twilight series。 Before even at starting this series, I knew there was a love triangle。 I can enjoy a love triangle, when it’s done right。 When I read the first book of this series and we met Jacob (who just turned 15), I thought to ——- Mild spoilers (just about Jacob), and some unladylike language :D ——-———————————————————————————Well, well, well。 It has taken me so long to write this。 That’s because I’ve been reading like a million other things haha。 And this is my first time EVER reading the Twilight series。 Before even at starting this series, I knew there was a love triangle。 I can enjoy a love triangle, when it’s done right。 When I read the first book of this series and we met Jacob (who just turned 15), I thought to myself, “Wait。。。 he’s 15。” Normally, age doesn’t really matter to me。 But I just had a hard time believing that this boy was going to come between Bella and the other guy。 In this book, they go into more detail about him。 The plot gets a little strange, and kinda veers off course, but it’s still good。 And if I have to hear about Edward’s eyes one more damn time— Anyway。 I highlighted the parts of the book where I really started thinking。 So here a couple of page numbers and what I was thinking when I read them: Page 327 , 49% : Wait wait wait wait wait wait Page 329 , 49% : ?!Page 330 , 50% : Damn。 -_- OH and don’t even get me STARTED on this quote: “‘Why did she hit you?’‘Because I kissed her,’ Jacob said, unashamed。 ‘Good for you, kid,’ Charlie congratulated him。 I’m sorry, what the actual fuck?? That’s not okay。 Seriously。 Not only did Jacob kiss her without her permission (kind of?), Charlie literally congratulated him。 No。 Just no。 Page 459 , 69% : NoooooooooooooooooooooooooPain and suffering。 Page 481 , 73% : Ahh my sweet bby 🥺Page 524 , 79% : This is why I hate Bella。 Page 528 , 80% : Duh。 Stupid。 Page 629 , 95% : NOOOOOO AGHUAGHAHSGI’ve already read the 4th book, but I’m writing this review first。 I hold the great and terrible power of major spoilers in my hands。。。。。 I shall wield it wisely。 So yeah。 Bella is still the same freakin idiot and the same miserable excuse of a protagonist that she’s always been。 Jacob is still my favorite。 Edward is still。。。。。。。。。。。。。 Edward。 Heh。 ALSO, this book was so LONG。 It just dragged on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 。 But I finished it! And it wasn’t half bad。。。 。。。more

For me, this book might actually be the worst of the series。 There are some good moments, but also many embarrassing scenes 。。。

For some reason, I wasn’t as crazy about this book as the first two, which is strange to me because the Eclipse movie is probably my favorite out of the five movies。 For starters, I feel as though the fight scene with Victoria was a little confusing。 I understand that it’s from Bella’s point of view, so she doesn’t entirely know what’s going on, but from a reader’s standpoint, the scene wasn’t as easy to visualize as I hoped it would be。 Don’t get me wrong, this book was still amazing in so many For some reason, I wasn’t as crazy about this book as the first two, which is strange to me because the Eclipse movie is probably my favorite out of the five movies。 For starters, I feel as though the fight scene with Victoria was a little confusing。 I understand that it’s from Bella’s point of view, so she doesn’t entirely know what’s going on, but from a reader’s standpoint, the scene wasn’t as easy to visualize as I hoped it would be。 Don’t get me wrong, this book was still amazing in so many ways, but it almost felt like Meyer was repeating some of her phrases, diction, and descriptions from the first two。 I mean yes, every writer occasionally does this, but sometimes I felt like it was happening too much。 Besides that, I think the plot of this book was spectacular。 I love how Meyer could connect all the books so well。 You could tell that this entire series was very carefully planned out and interwoven beautifully, which is a hard thing to do for a lot of writers。 I did love how much Bella’s relationships grew throughout this book。 You could truly see the connections between all the characters, which is one of the best things for readers! It makes the story so much more realistic。 Can’t wait to read the final book of the series! 。。。more

The part of the series where Bella should've drawn boundaries since New Moon but nope, she had to it here。。。towards the end of the book。 Also, Bella literally said I love both of them which tbh was VERY cringey, which then made the book almost trashy。 But who cares, I love this almost trashy series。 The part of the series where Bella should've drawn boundaries since New Moon but nope, she had to it here。。。towards the end of the book。 Also, Bella literally said I love both of them which tbh was VERY cringey, which then made the book almost trashy。 But who cares, I love this almost trashy series。 。。。more

Was not a big fan of the sexual assault in the book。 To follow it up, I didn’t enjoy the father of the victim giving kudos to his daughter’s assailant。 Additionally, when the boyfriend of the victim was rightfully angry at the assailant, I didn’t enjoy how the father / police officer used his position of legal power to protect the man who sexually assaulted his daughter。 Additionally, when the victim finally told the man that assaulted her that he did in-fact assault her, he laughed it off and d Was not a big fan of the sexual assault in the book。 To follow it up, I didn’t enjoy the father of the victim giving kudos to his daughter’s assailant。 Additionally, when the boyfriend of the victim was rightfully angry at the assailant, I didn’t enjoy how the father / police officer used his position of legal power to protect the man who sexually assaulted his daughter。 Additionally, when the victim finally told the man that assaulted her that he did in-fact assault her, he laughed it off and downplayed her trauma。All of this would have been fine if the author spent any amount of time talking about how problematic that all of this is, but she doubles down and portrays it as romantic。 I’ve honestly never encountered a more toxic book series。 。。。more

I think I can lump this together with my review of New Moon, just so so overly long。 I feel that deep down there might have been the potential for an interesting plot (I mean an army of newborn vampires in Seattle?!) but it all comes to nothing。 I think I saw a review that said Meyer cannot write action scenes which I strongly agree with。 The vamps and werewolves team up against this "army", we only get a one-on-one Edward vs。 Victoria。One of the most annoying dev So what's the beef in this one? I am a fourteen year old girl。 I loved this book so much, because Stephany Meyer made every sentence easy to understand and she added so many details。 It never got boring, the suspense and excitement stayed the whole time。The characters and their connections build up。
