These are dark stories, again。 I hate that the kids wind up in situations which are terrifying。 Ashton is encouraging me to finish this series。

I swear to god this get more intense the more you read them。 They are very spooky and extremely sad if you think about the whole context, but I kinda feel that if I had read them when I was younger I would have been really spooked out, now they’re more like very sad creepy stories (I’m liking them a lot tho, props on you Scott for expanding this world in this way, you’re doing great)

This was the better of the first two, without a doubt。 I liked Alec's story the best。 The Plushtrap Chaser was great。 And Fetch was an amazing and unpredictable animatronic。 :) This was the better of the first two, without a doubt。 I liked Alec's story the best。 The Plushtrap Chaser was great。 And Fetch was an amazing and unpredictable animatronic。 :) 。。。more

(Spoilers!!) I like the first story, the part I liked the most in the first story was, how Fetch was really just trying to help Oswald。 The second story on the other hand was。。。。sad, I think it was sad because Alec just thought his little sister was spoiled, and their parents never gave Alec the attention he wanted。 So then (Spoilers!!) he became a Lonely Freddy, a 2 foot Freddy Fazbear bear。

So currently I'm thriving On Section 2 of the Novel and currently Alec's parents was undoubtedly planning to get Alec to act like a normal child as he should be but Alec tries to convince his parents of thinking not all people are perfect and most people can have their own imperfections but now his sister is acting as if she was being im-polite and imperfect making messes and all and misbehaving so that his parents reconsider Alec is a good child the way he is and after having the Party at the P So currently I'm thriving On Section 2 of the Novel and currently Alec's parents was undoubtedly planning to get Alec to act like a normal child as he should be but Alec tries to convince his parents of thinking not all people are perfect and most people can have their own imperfections but now his sister is acting as if she was being im-polite and imperfect making messes and all and misbehaving so that his parents reconsider Alec is a good child the way he is and after having the Party at the Pizzeria Alec notices a Little Lonely Freddy。 So then I shall read on and predict whats the Novel heading towards。 。。。more

Although not my favorite of the Fazbear Frights series, book #2 has some of the best writing and character development。The title story ("Fetch") drags on at times, but nearly every detail ends up being relevant over the course of the tale。 There are a lot of neat ideas addressed in the content that later apply to the overall FNAF lore and explain a lot while simultaneously raising even more questions (as to be expected from Mr。 Cawthon after all these years)。 I wouldn't say the story itself is o Although not my favorite of the Fazbear Frights series, book #2 has some of the best writing and character development。The title story ("Fetch") drags on at times, but nearly every detail ends up being relevant over the course of the tale。 There are a lot of neat ideas addressed in the content that later apply to the overall FNAF lore and explain a lot while simultaneously raising even more questions (as to be expected from Mr。 Cawthon after all these years)。 I wouldn't say the story itself is overall great, but the implications involving the technology used in Fetch himself are extremely intriguing for someone who happens to be a lore junkie。"Lonely Freddy" is painfully relatable, especially if you aren't an only child。 However, prepare to be both creeped out and have your heart broken。I didn't particularly care for the story or characters involved in "Out of Stock," but it certainly made Plushtrap legitimately horrifying from now on。 。。。more

Fetch:Of all three stories, Fetch was probably my least favorite。 I liked it but I found it very confusing。 The story gave me vibes like it was a Goosebumps story, which I loved, but there was this whole plot line with that plants can read your mind and so can this animatronic dog for some reason。 I think that by the time I finally understood that bit, the story was nearly over。 Other than that, I thought the story was great and I really liked the ending。Lonely Freddy: I cried。 So much。 I cried Fetch:Of all three stories, Fetch was probably my least favorite。 I liked it but I found it very confusing。 The story gave me vibes like it was a Goosebumps story, which I loved, but there was this whole plot line with that plants can read your mind and so can this animatronic dog for some reason。 I think that by the time I finally understood that bit, the story was nearly over。 Other than that, I thought the story was great and I really liked the ending。Lonely Freddy: I cried。 So much。 I cried through the entire end of the story。 It was so well written and out of all the Fazbear Frights stories, the ones about siblings always make me so sad。 I thought the story was awesome but that ending left me in shock。Out of Stock:Ok I loved this story。 It was action packed, clever, and super fun to read。 If I were to only recommend a few stories from these books, this would definitely be one of them。 。。。more

This series is fabulous! All you’d want from an indie horror series。 The short stories still contain the detailed action of full novels and they are intriguing yet horrifying at the same time (whether this is in a pleasant or not way I can’t tell)。 Overall, a good series so far!

I thought this book was really interesting。 I enjoy reading about the different characters that aren't in games。 If they did end up making it into games that would be really cool。 I thought this book was really interesting。 I enjoy reading about the different characters that aren't in games。 If they did end up making it into games that would be really cool。 。。。more

Really enjoyed this book! Even as an adult I greatly enjoyed it! My son plays the games all the time and he got all the books for Christmas。 Since he talks about them all the time I decided to give them a try and I am not at all sorry that I did! This series is not just for kids! Adults could enjoy it as well。My son has a youtube playlist of all the songs that go along with these stories and he loves reading them while listening to the song that goes with it!

This series so far is a lot better and more fun than The Silver Eyes (which drove me mad)。 There are occasional leaps of logic, but these are just kind of spooky Goosebumps-y short stories for teens, so it's mostly forgivable。I don't think you really *need* to know anything about the Five Nights series to get into these, but。。。 I'd say it's a better experience if you do。 Everything is a reference to it。 This series so far is a lot better and more fun than The Silver Eyes (which drove me mad)。 There are occasional leaps of logic, but these are just kind of spooky Goosebumps-y short stories for teens, so it's mostly forgivable。I don't think you really *need* to know anything about the Five Nights series to get into these, but。。。 I'd say it's a better experience if you do。 Everything is a reference to it。 。。。more

Fetch: Ending was super open which isn't always a bad thing, but come on I want some gory shit from a Five Nights at Freddy's short story。 Bloody sheets just aren't gonna do it for me。 The concept of an AI with the intent to please the owner, without realizing and adhering to moral boundaries or even plotting to do it maliciously in the first place, is one of the more interesting concepts that's been introduced throughout the franchise。Lonely Freddy: Kind of forgot that this was a short story fr Fetch: Ending was super open which isn't always a bad thing, but come on I want some gory shit from a Five Nights at Freddy's short story。 Bloody sheets just aren't gonna do it for me。 The concept of an AI with the intent to please the owner, without realizing and adhering to moral boundaries or even plotting to do it maliciously in the first place, is one of the more interesting concepts that's been introduced throughout the franchise。Lonely Freddy: Kind of forgot that this was a short story from the FNAF franchise, because, similar to some of the other stories at times, the narrative about the creepy animatronics haunted by dead children murdered by a purple man takes a back seat in order to give the attention to whatever angsty "unloved" child is the protagonist。 The latter half of the story was solid, the idea of the consciousness swap was interesting, and the dynamic of Alec and Hazel had the potential to be really cool。 The horror felt a bit more gimmicky? I don't know, it felt really slow the majority of the time which caused Alec's character development to really drag。 Out of Stock: Having a protagonist who is able to have a somewhat clear idea of who they are and what their place in life is, makes the story a lot more readable。 Sure, still an emotional 12 year old kid, but the relationships with his mum and his friends felt more compelling and real rather than having a parent there for the sake of having a parent character。 Plushtrap felt a bit underutilized, and the story did suffer for it slightly by feeling like the shortest of the three。 。。。more

Another three short stories in the FNAF universe, none of them exceptionally great but the potential is there。 I enjoyed Fetch except for it's ending, the second story was boring for the most part but if the characters show back up。。。the third story was pretty good and definitely reminded me of the Chucky franchise。 1。 Fetch 3***; some kids explore an old pizzeria and find a creepy out of place animatronic that syncs with one of their phones and becomes his assistant2。 Lonely Freddie 1。5*; A sto Another three short stories in the FNAF universe, none of them exceptionally great but the potential is there。 I enjoyed Fetch except for it's ending, the second story was boring for the most part but if the characters show back up。。。the third story was pretty good and definitely reminded me of the Chucky franchise。 1。 Fetch 3***; some kids explore an old pizzeria and find a creepy out of place animatronic that syncs with one of their phones and becomes his assistant2。 Lonely Freddie 1。5*; A story of a troubled kid who thinks his sister trying to pull a fast one on him, very drawn out 3。 Out of stock 3***; some other kids want the newest toy, a miniature animatronic bunny that chases you around, one of the kids snags a defective one from the back of the store。。。 。。。more

Don’t let the cartoony cover art fool you, this book is sooo not for the faint of heart。 Seriously, these things are really unsettling。 The second story really broke my heart since, as the eldest child who really treated her younger siblings like crap in her early teens, I couldn’t help but feel for Alec as he was replaced and abandoned by a family who just wanted to help him。 And the last one? Oh, that third story really has me spooked。 The imagery is just。。。so grotesque。 Don’t get me wrong, I Don’t let the cartoony cover art fool you, this book is sooo not for the faint of heart。 Seriously, these things are really unsettling。 The second story really broke my heart since, as the eldest child who really treated her younger siblings like crap in her early teens, I couldn’t help but feel for Alec as he was replaced and abandoned by a family who just wanted to help him。 And the last one? Another set of three creepy tales from the Five Nights at Freddy's universe。 One kid breaks into an abandoned restaurant and accidentally activates a toy that just wants to help him。 Another kid is convinced his perfect sister is secretly horrible and selfish, and hatches a plan to expose her at her birthday party at Freddy Fazbear's。 And the final kid gets tired of his responsibilities, and it causes him to make one heck of a bad choice。As with volume one, these are fine stories。 They're quick Another set of three creepy tales from the Five Nights at Freddy's universe。 One kid breaks into an abandoned restaurant and accidentally activates a toy that just wants to help him。 Another kid is convinced his perfect sister is secretly horrible and selfish, and hatches a plan to expose her at her birthday party at Freddy Fazbear's。 And the final kid gets tired of his responsibilities, and it causes him to make one heck of a bad choice。As with volume one, these are fine stories。 They're quick reads, they manage to get a bit of atmosphere and they have enough creepy imagery that it'll creep out some readers, I think。I think the stories are getting a little better at characterization。 Lonely Freddy and Out of Stock, I felt, both managed to get into the characters' heads a little better than before。 It made me feel for the situation they were in particularly, rather than just feeling bad that -anyone- was put in that position。 Alec, in the second story, is a massive asshole, but it does a good job of showing his pov so that, while you can see he's viewing his world wrong, you get why he's doing so。 And in the final story here, Oscar is legitimately easy to feel bad for because he's a kid who's being given a lot of responsibility but he's clearly trying。 And it's a lot of stress for a kid。 He makes a bad decision, but again, it's a more understandable decision。 。。。more
