Summary

4/5⭐️ 4/5🌶️This book was pure filth and I ate up every inch of it😂 I’ve definitely never read anything like it before but it had me hooked from start to finish!! I will say that I felt it was missing some angst and build up but it’s a shorter book so completely understandable

Excellent in all the ways it needed to be。 🌶️🌶️🌶️

if I ever have to read the word lamb I SWEARAlso this third act conflict that left him in pain for a WHOLE YEAR was ridiculousThis is my biggest ick when one character chooses to leave the relationship without any explanation because they wAntEd tO pRoTeCt or because they tHoUgHt iT wAs bEtTer fOr tHe oThEe pErSoN Like come on! Goodness, Father Bell 🥵The forbidden aspect of this totally pulled me in and I loved how Tyler and Poppy came to meet one another。 I’ve never read a book based around a priest before so I found the information from Tyler’s routine to his clothing really interesting。 The taboo aspect of their relationship is almost immediate within the book and prevalent throughout。 It definitely added to the spiciness of this book!Tyler and Poppy start to bond when she confesses her ‘sin’ in working as a strippe Goodness, Father Bell 🥵The forbidden aspect of this totally pulled me in and I loved how Tyler and Poppy came to meet one another。 I’ve never read a book based around a priest before so I found the information from Tyler’s routine to his clothing really interesting。 The taboo aspect of their relationship is almost immediate within the book and prevalent throughout。 It definitely added to the spiciness of this book!Tyler and Poppy start to bond when she confesses her ‘sin’ in working as a stripper at an exclusive gentlemen’s club。 Rather than judgment, he gave her guidance。 He has been an incredible listener and he is instrumental in her self-discovery and growth。 Their attraction to one another is strong and instant。 His needs and her wants。。。 slowly they break all the boundaries 🥵 Oh Father Bell… the things he does to Poppy。 He is kinky, dirty, and rough! These two were kinky MF 👀 I won’t be stepping into a church anytime soon… or I might, but every scene was 🔥 At the same time, he is such a genuine, sweet, and loving person, and you don’t want to see him get hurt 😭 Poppy is confident, loyal and considerate。 The fact that she would sacrifice herself and prioritize Tyler is EVERYTHING。 。。。more

Loved this book and for someone who is just getting back into reading it felt easy to want to read it! I don’t typically read these types of books either so I think it was definitely a good first choice。 Can’t wait to read other books by Sierra Simone。

I was skeptical going into this but I really enjoyed it。 I think these books can be hard to read with the Biblical references but it was exactly what I expected it to be。 I wish the relationship between Poppy and Father Bell would’ve taken a little more time to develop and had more of that slow burn。 It didn’t effect the spice though because this book was 🥵 from the beginning。 Overall great book!

oh。 my。 god。 father bell。 🧎🏼‍♀️🧎🏼‍♀️ that’s all that needed to be said。

osha

if there was just more depth and slow burn

This is a book about a priest banging a girl… it’s pretty much as sacrilegious as you’d expect。 I’m picking “Unholy” by Sam Smith (feat。 Kim Petras) because… you know… this book is pretty unholy。

Wow, what an insanely hot buck now I didn’t really give much thought about the romance I mean yes it did increase the love for forbidden romances all the tension only tractive Ness between both characters in the how they’re fighting the Temptations to be together。 Yeah, that part was great and the spicy seems was amazing。 That’s all I can say for the book。

Mari

My mouth was constantly gaping at what I was reading。 I hated the miscommunication thing at the end though which is why I gave it 4 stars。 Steamy for sure。 I think my ears were bright pink。

Hannah Penrose

Is it wrong that I enjoyed this book? Probably, but WOW 10/10 spice!!!

Unfortunately I decided to DNF this book。 In all fairness I gave it 70% before I stopped。 Here were my issues: lack of story with the story also being to predictable, weak characters, pining forbidden lovers, blah blah blah。 If you’re looking for a mindless read and smut with little plot, this most definitely is for you。 If you’re someone that enjoys a deeper story and complex characters in addition to the smut, keep shopping。 Will not be continuing with Sinner or Saint either。

Pido perdón, pero verdaderamente me dió mucho cringe, siento que no está bien pensado

3 stars! This book was mostly smut。 Tyler is a Catholic priest and when he meets Poppy he questions everything he holds dear。 This book was definitely insta lust and was just smut for half of the book。 I thought the book did get more interesting in the second half once Tyler had decided what he wanted, but they still had to deal with the consequences。

I can’t believe I read this。 It was honestly so bad。

Woah Nelly, this was, uhm, yeah really really spicy。 But it was also kinda like a hallmark movie that has that kinda predictable plot except this one flowed really nicely and I really enjoyed the writing style in this。 Also can’t deny my hopeless romantic side with the beautiful HAE。 This is one that I had NO BUSINESS reading in public, but that’s what made it even more fun。 If you’re in the mood to spice up your 💕 life, this is a great choice 👍😉 have fun, be safe, or be ready 9 months from now

MehhhAt first I thought it's a case of ‘it's me, not you’。 But then I understood, that these characters are extremely one dimensional。 Like I dunno I liked them I guess but couldn't connect with them。 And this was in it's own way a book on the religion and faith of Christianity, and as a non-christian, this was kinda weird to read? I mean I did enjoy the added knowledge to my general information, but oh well。A 2。5 stars rounded to 3。 MehhhAt first I thought it's a case of ‘it's me, not you’。 But then I understood, that these characters are extremely one dimensional。 Like I dunno I liked them I guess but couldn't connect with them。 And this was in it's own way a book on the religion and faith of Christianity, and as a non-christian, this was kinda weird to read? Definitely a huge smut book 📕 Interesting that throughout the smuttiness, it had a little love story action going on。 Not a favorite, but definitely some steamy scenes。

3。5✨ umm what did I just read? Anyways, the plot was definitely unique, and interesting。 Some part were annoying, like for example I love internal conflict especially when it pertains to your morals but sometimes in this book it just got annoying。 Also why were they always banging in the church and then saying that it was praising God…no, it’s really weird。 Also it was super insta lovey which I really do not like。

I agonized over this rating。 I love Sierra Simone and nothing I’ve read by her has been less than a 5 star。 I loved Thornchapel so much I almost got a damn “convivificat” tattoo。 I’d had Priest on my TBR for literal years and everyone talks about it like it was going to blow me away, but I felt underwhelmed。I’m not squeamish, y’all。 I went into this knowing damn well what I was getting into because I’d read a snippet of the infamous anointing oil scene。 The sex scenes felt a bit much at times, a I agonized over this rating。 I love Sierra Simone and nothing I’ve read by her has been less than a 5 star。 I loved Thornchapel so much I almost got a damn “convivificat” tattoo。 I’d had Priest on my TBR for literal years and everyone talks about it like it was going to blow me away, but I felt underwhelmed。I’m not squeamish, y’all。 I went into this knowing damn well what I was getting into because I’d read a snippet of the infamous anointing oil scene。 The sex scenes felt a bit much at times, as if it was trying really hard to be shocking。 The entire premise is shocking, so it really could have just been toned down from a 15 to a 9 or 10 and this would have been a 5 star read。 I loved Thornchapel touching on the connection between the sexual and the mystical, and the hot priest in those books was far and away my favorite character。 Team Becket every single day。 I was so excited because I could tell from the first few chapters that I was going to get a lot of character work and introspection and discussion of a person’s place in a religion that represses sexuality so thoroughly, but instead I felt pulled out of the story for more kinky sex scenes and I found myself skimming to get back to the plot。 I’m definitely reading the sequels because I’ve heard Sinner is amazing, but damn I got my hopes up with this one。 。。。more
