I’ve read all the books in this series and this particular book wasn’t as good as the others。 Still an interesting read but not as captivating。

Kris

Not the best Womens murder club book but still a quick and easy read。

22 seconds was a super quick read but the overall story was blah。 In my eyes there is lack of added depth to the WMC。 JP needs to stop pumping these out once a year if they’re just going to be subpar

The Women's Murder Club。 4 women。 A Homicide Detective。 A Chief Medical Examiner。 A Journalist。 A lawyer。 All friends。 Always a good read。 But if you've not read any before start with 1st To Die。 Enjoy! typical James Patterson bookI couldn’t put the book down once I started reading it。 I’ve loved this entire series so far。 Lindsey and Joe are the perfect couple, in fact all the main characters are perfect, you almost know what they’re gonna say next, but it’s still thrilling when they say what you expected。 I really like his writing style with short chapters, makes it easy to pick up a book and get through a couple chapters before you realize it。

Jackie

Not a favorite but still kept me guessing and more importantly reading till the end。

Womans Murder Club strikes again。 Love these stories and the characters are like friends。 Another great mystery- plot was worthy and I will always be glad to delve into another of these books。 Sometimes its great to pick up a book that you know will be good。 Patterson and Paetro fans will want to read this。Thanks to NetGalley Patterson & Pastor & Hachette Book Group for the opportunity ti read this book in exchange for an honest review。

Read as an audiobook performed by January LaVoy about 8。5 hours。 Fairly typical Women's Murder Club story with all of the members having a role。 Seemed to move quickly but without as much tension as I would have liked。 Good background listen for mindless tasks but not memorable。 Liked it but not awed; 3-4 *。 Read as an audiobook performed by January LaVoy about 8。5 hours。 Fairly typical Women's Murder Club story with all of the members having a role。 Seemed to move quickly but without as much tension as I would have liked。 Good background listen for mindless tasks but not memorable。 Liked it but not awed; 3-4 *。 。。。more

An ok installment of the womens murder club。 These get a little monotonous, but it’s not bad。 Always good storytelling by James Patterson。

Jodi myer

Amanda

Fast paced and addictive。 One of my favourite James Patterson series。

Good but not great。 As usual a fast-paced page-turner that in some ways seems taken from today's headlines and recriminations about the 2nd amendment and gun control。Of course, Boxer and Joe are omnipresent and the center of this entry in the long-running series。 As usual, all the ladies are involved but to varying degrees。 Yuki is only around for one court appearance and Claire gets only a bit more but then, almost as an afterthought gets called to a child's autopsy in rural Northern California Good but not great。 As usual a fast-paced page-turner that in some ways seems taken from today's headlines and recriminations about the 2nd amendment and gun control。Of course, Boxer and Joe are omnipresent and the center of this entry in the long-running series。 As usual, all the ladies are involved but to varying degrees。 Yuki is only around for one court appearance and Claire gets only a bit more but then, almost as an afterthought gets called to a child's autopsy in rural Northern California to solve a sad case there。 But it felt like Patterson and Paetro said to themselves "what are we going to have Claire do?" and sent her up north to solve the case。 Then any reference to it was just dropped。One small complaint: on page 221 Brady tells Boxer that a sound truck from WACD was coming to a hearing。 Everyone knows that western cities like San Francisco has stations that begin with a K and not a W。Lastly, the ending was a bit quick。 The story deserved a better ending。 。。。more

2022 Listen #40These books are not so great。 But my nana used to read them too and we’d chat about the latest, so I’ll probably keep reading them until the series ends。

Its hard to believe that 22 Seconds is the 22nd book in the series Women's Murder Club。 James Patterson and Maxine Paetro never disappoint in writing a book that will have you ignoring everything but getting to the end of the story。Lindsay and Joe are looking into the illegal guns in Southern California and the action is non stop。 Bodies are piling up and the pages turn faster。 I could not help but think of my son who passed away he just loved James Patterson and this series and I know he would Its hard to believe that 22 Seconds is the 22nd book in the series Women's Murder Club。 James Patterson and Maxine Paetro never disappoint in writing a book that will have you ignoring everything but getting to the end of the story。Lindsay and Joe are looking into the illegal guns in Southern California and the action is non stop。 Bodies are piling up and the pages turn faster。 I could not help but think of my son who passed away he just loved James Patterson and this series and I know he would have loved 22 Seconds。I cant wait for the next adventure or misadventure of Women's Murder Club。Thanks to NetGalley and Little Brown and Company for a fast paced read。 。。。more

It took me a long time to get through thus book。。 The best parts were when we saw Lindsay, Claire, Yuki, and Cindy interact。 Unfortunately, that was not much。 The other storyline was interesting but not the primary reason I read these books。

Adrienne

1 1/2。 Did not finish。 Read 3/4。 📚 just seemed like this theme has been done to death。
