Of course this is to be performed and or watched so reading this was a rollercoaster of confusion but I thought it was amazing。 Lots of twists and tails of course and drama。 A masterpiece。

This is my favourite Shakespeare play。 It is a story about power， ambition， escalation， guilt， paranoia， and the dangers of spousal toxic masculinity。 Macbeth is a great guy。 Thane of Glamis and a Scottish general。 He draws blood on the battlefield， but never off-duty。 He seemed to know his place in the world and had no ambition， until one day。。。 。。。three witches told Macbeth his future。 Macbeth will someday be king。 Are the witches really that wise or they just spittin' nonsense？ Or was Macbeth This is my favourite Shakespeare play。 It is a story about power， ambition， escalation， guilt， paranoia， and the dangers of spousal toxic masculinity。 Macbeth is a great guy。 Thane of Glamis and a Scottish general。 He draws blood on the battlefield， but never off-duty。 He seemed to know his place in the world and had no ambition， until one day。。。 。。。three witches told Macbeth his future。 Macbeth will someday be king。 Are the witches really that wise or they just spittin' nonsense？ Or was Macbeth and Banquo on a drug trip like Banquo suggests？ Does Macbeth let the prophecy drive his actions？ Does Macbeth have control over his fate？ A lot of people die， read the play to find out who， how， and why。 It's a wild ride。 A massive snowball effect can be seen in the behaviour of certain characters， most notably Macbeth and Lady Macbeth。 It's unreal how knowing your future becomes so destructive。 Macbeth and Anakin Skywalker seem to have a lot in common in that sense。 I love the chosen one trope （Star Wars， Harry Potter， Hunger Games， etc。）。 So naturally， I really like MacBeth。 I have to shout out SparkNotes publishing the old English and modern English side-by-side。 It makes Shakespeare much easier on the brain。 5 stars 。。。more

I liked how in between scenes， some of the characters had monologues that somehow related to real life。 However， this is not the genre I would personally usually go for though I completely understand why others would。 :）
