Holy fuck。 WHAT。 A。 ROLLER COASTER！As a mother this book is going to weigh on me for a while， I can already feel it only 10 minutes after finishing it。 But it was SO refreshing as a reader for Colleen Hoover to step outside of her typical formula; this was new and exciting practically the whole way through。 It felt like reading my first CoHo book all over again。

I really enjoyed this book！ So far I’ve read 2 of Colleen books and have really enjoyed them。 I will say I think the writing style is quite simple， but I don’t mind that！The plot twists of this book actually had my hand go over my mouth！！ So glad I read this and will defo read it again。The only thing I’m meh about is Lowen the main character， she’s a bit of a hoe really in my opinion but Colleen does usually write romance books （I think？） so I knew there would have to be some sort of romance plo I really enjoyed this book！ So far I’ve read 2 of Colleen books and have really enjoyed them。 I will say I think the writing style is quite simple， but I don’t mind that！The plot twists of this book actually had my hand go over my mouth！！ So glad I read this and will defo read it again。The only thing I’m meh about is Lowen the main character， she’s a bit of a hoe really in my opinion but Colleen does usually write romance books （I think？） so I knew there would have to be some sort of romance plot involved。Really enjoyed - will read again 😊 。。。more

Not going to lie， I keep getting books like this and they just never satisfy me。 So know this just isn't my cut of tea。 I did finish it， which is more than I can say about other books， bit 2x speed and skipping were used， audiobook。 If you like A Simple Favor， or books like it， you may like this one though it still lacks that extra creep factor others in the genre have。 The story had a good， DARK start but it really just sort of fizzled out。 I found the only parts I enjoyed were the "So Be It" p Not going to lie， I keep getting books like this and they just never satisfy me。 So know this just isn't my cut of tea。 I did finish it， which is more than I can say about other books， bit 2x speed and skipping were used， audiobook。 If you like A Simple Favor， or books like it， you may like this one though it still lacks that extra creep factor others in the genre have。 The story had a good， DARK start but it really just sort of fizzled out。 I found the only parts I enjoyed were the "So Be It" pieces。 There could have been so much more added but honestly， just fell flat for me。 。。。more

I finally got around to read one of Colleen Hoovers books！ I never really read mystery books， but I liked this one。 It was fast paced which I really appericiated， and was written in an easy language。 I didnt really connect with any of the charachters， but the story was good so It wasnt necessary。 After reading I do have some questions， like why did Crew hurt himself with the knife？ I was also waiting for Colleen to reveal that the bad guy in the story was actually Jeremy all along， but that didn I finally got around to read one of Colleen Hoovers books！ I never really read mystery books， but I liked this one。 It was fast paced which I really appericiated， and was written in an easy language。 I didnt really connect with any of the charachters， but the story was good so It wasnt necessary。 After reading I do have some questions， like why did Crew hurt himself with the knife？ I was also waiting for Colleen to reveal that the bad guy in the story was actually Jeremy all along， but that didnt happen。 The reason this book doesnt get 5 stars is simply because its not one of the best books I’ve ever read。 The bar is pretty high for it to get full score。 And although I found it entertaining， its not a book I’ll reread。 。。。more
