Wonderful series I really liked this series, it was a page turner and kept me interested the whole way through。 Yes, some of it was a far fetched and convoluted but it was ultimately about friends and family。 The relationships between the characters and their development throughout the series made you want to see it end happily ever after。 Faolin even grew on me in the end and the descriptions of Faerie was breathtaking。 I am kind of sad it is over but I enjoyed the ride。

I loved it!!!!Like many of your books。 This one will be one of my favorites。 I will miss Jesse and Lukas so much。 I hope one day you decide to do a Novella of their story because I feel like I am missing so much。

Decent endingSaying this one is the least of the trilogy doesn't mean it's bad。 Faery was fun but the author shines more in urban settings。 There was less of the strong capable Jesse。 But I still had fun reading it。 I only wish there were more books between the last one and this one! Great BookGreat series! I only wish this series would continue! Enjoyed the 3rd book tying up all the loose ends of this story。 Karen Lynch has another great series, Relentless。 If you enjoyed this book you need to read it too。

It was really…meh。 It started out really good then petered out at the end。 A poor ending to a three book build up。 Here’s the thing。 Jesse is the main character and, therefore, the heroine。 I get it。 However, Karen wrote this drop dead gorgeous prince as Jesse’s love interest and our hope of being, at the very least, a subordinate hero, but nothing。 Lukas is essentially an emasculated “bod” and that’s it。 He’s supposedly a great warrior, second only to Fa What happened, Karen? In the human world。 He knows Jesse pretty well and the only place she would have gone would have been to her parents。 If they didn’t see her then there’s must have been something wrong。 I kept hoping that Rhys or even the lady who brought Jesse clean clothes at the Seelie tower, would have contacted Unseelie to let them know。 I hoped we’d see Lukas, Conlan and the rest of his guard infiltrate Seelie and rescue Jesse。 I mean, they could use portals, right? Lastly, after the consummation of Lukas and Jesse’s relationship and King Oseron’s apology, I was hoping to be invited to the ultimate celebration, ie, a wedding, celebration of the future consort。 Something! Not just a fast track to Harvard and have them waving goodbye to each other at the end。 Jesse didn’t even included Lukas in Jesse trip back to Fairie to return Gus。 Really?Bad form, Karen。 You left your reader’s waiting for an ending that we will never get。 From what I understand, you don’t have character loyalty and once the series is over, that’s pretty much it。 Kinda heart broken and disappointed。 This book could have easily been a very interesting and fun + 50 pages minimum。 。。。more

A bit unsatisfied with the ending but seriously, Karen Lynch needs to write more books。 So glad I found her 🤍

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I know the ending was noble etc but I hate this trope。 She worked freaking hard for the goddess and ofc after all of that she had to give away her stone。 Why should the goddess leave her with any help when she doesn't need her anymore。 They ruined black jawels the same way too 😒😒😒 and I know it was their choice but it sucked both times! What a great ending to a wonderful series!!!

So dissatisfied。 I really enjoyed the first two books。 It felt so different that I’m not sure the same author could have written the 3rd。 Sad it is ended this way。

Whitney

Loved the first two books in the series but had mixed feelings about this one。 One minute it was good , then ok , then boring I even skipped through some of the last 4 chapters grasping for anything to keep my interested in this book。 Point blank: Overall the whole series lacked romance

I love this author and I love what she creates, but the third installment to the fae game series fell short。I can forgive the Mary Sue character as long as there is an intriguing plot and high stakes environment。 We got the intriguing plot in book one。 Jesse’s parents go missing。 We got the high stakes environment in book two。 The magical stone that connects both worlds goes missing。 But book three the plot stopped and the story turned into a fan-fiction story that just described the fae world a I love this author and I love what she creates, but the third installment to the fae game series fell short。I can forgive the Mary Sue character as long as there is an intriguing plot and high stakes environment。 We got the intriguing plot in book one。 Jesse’s parents go missing。 We got the high stakes environment in book two。 The magical stone that connects both worlds goes missing。 But book three the plot stopped and the story turned into a fan-fiction story that just described the fae world and her red hair。 Nothing of consequence happened until 70% of the book was over。 And the love story between Lukas and Jesse mostly focused on all the other girls that are crazy and want him。 Gag。 I kinda hated the “I’m not like other girls” and look at “my unique red hair” tropes。 I want tropes that show girls supporting girls。 We can’t get girls supporting girls when all of them turn into crazy biatches fighting over the one hot guy in the room。 The ending I was hoping for would have focused more on the trial of charging up the magical goddess stone。 And Like everything goes wrong but she is a lady boss and figures it out。 There would have been a plot twist - like it was a close friend that betrayed her or something。 Also, jesses would drop the “I’m not like other girls and look at my red hair” act and focus in befriending all the lady fairies and they end up helping her save the fae world and the human one。 Girl power! Lukas would grow a backbone too and then they would end up together- after the both grow up。 Will I still read her books? Yes。 I love her writing style and her relentless series is amazing (still a Mary Sue character, but the world building and the high stakes environment is spot on)。 If the author sees this review I hope she knows how much I love her books and she has made my world better, but because I think so highly of her I expect more。 I can’t wait to see what she creates next and I pray she abandons the “I’m not like other girls” trope。 Then her books will be nearly perfect。 。。。more

This could have been so good and I'm so disappointed。 Loved the first two books, not really sure what happened with this one, but whatever this was did not live up to my expectations。 This could have been so good and I'm so disappointed。 Loved the first two books, not really sure what happened with this one, but whatever this was did not live up to my expectations。 。。。more

Probably 3。5 stars。 Not quite as good of a wrap-up as I was hoping, but still a decent read。

Overall I really loved the series, but as seems to be a theme with Lynch’s books, the end 25% felt extremely rushed and could have gone on so much longer and in more detail。 With more description, action, and plot that was less rushed, this could have gone into a fourth book。

This book was hard to put down。 I couldn't wait for the last book in this trilogy to come out and this was not a disappointment。 Jesse's story has so many twists and turns that I couldn't predict。 I love the strong female character that doesn't need to be rescued all the time。 A very good ending to a great series。 This book was hard to put down。 I couldn't wait for the last book in this trilogy to come out and this was not a disappointment。 Jesse's story has so many twists and turns that I couldn't predict。 I love the strong female character that doesn't need to be rescued all the time。 A very good ending to a great series。 。。。more

This was a good conclusion to the trilogy! I don't agree with the reviews that said Lukas wasn't there or that it was rushed - the pacing felt fine to me, and Lukas was there the whole time。 Anyway, I enjoyed this。 The storyline was wrapped up decently, the romance was super cute, and the more slice of life elements were actually really nice in my opinion。 While I do wish that the word building for Faerie had been a touch stronger, I guess it got the job done。 Overall, I'm satisfied with the las This was a good conclusion to the trilogy! Overall a satisfactory ending to a great series。 I really enjoyed how they expanded the story to a different world and also how they progressed Jesse's character。 A must read for anyone who's a fan of fae stories and kick-ass heroines。 Overall a satisfactory ending to a great series。 I really enjoyed how they expanded the story to a different world and also how they progressed Jesse's character。 A must read for anyone who's a fan of fae stories and kick-ass heroines。 。。。more

Karen Lynch did it again! I was so happy to be back in Jessie Jame’s world! Even though this is the last book in the series it definitely left me wanting more! Karen Lynch is a fantastic author。 The characters and story plot are always on point。 I do have to say, her first series, the relentless series will always be first in my heart。 But this series is definitely a close second! I highly recommend reading this series and her first if you haven’t already!

Good character build。 The whole series kept me on my toes。 Books full on action, drama and romance。 Loved it!

Here for Gus and Finch 🥰 but Vaerick is a nice bonus 😏 Hot Fae and a heroine who does the saving, LET’S GOOOOO 😈 but I miss the bounty hunting in NY。 Moving the setting to predominantly Faerie and the plot that unfolds there just wasn’t the same。
