Honestly， this book was good。 It felt a little predictable at points but that’s not necessarily a bad thing！ I love stories about redemption， and this is a feel-good story for me。 I can’t overly relate to many of the characters， but I still enjoyed them。

I really enjoyed this！ Such a great book for middle school， with a thought-provoking， positive message about re-examining yourself and getting the chance to change to be a better person。 I think kids will really like and relate to this book。

The different perspectives worked well here。 Unfortunately， the adults in this story were kind of a let down （especially the principal and Chase’s father）。 I wouldn’t say they were presented unrealistically， but they were certainly frustrating。 All in all， I enjoyed the book but would’ve liked Bear and Aaron to have some comeuppance。
