I loved this book SO MUCH！！！ It has all the elements we love from Elle Kennedy and so much more。 Wes was a wonderfully sad but amazing character。 He hasn’t ever felt love and doesn’t think he deserves it。 Then there’s Jamie who is so laid back and methodical。 I just loved how the povs wove this beautiful story。 The friendship， the love and the hockey elements was everything I wanted。 I enjoyed the struggles they each went through and the strong connection of friendship that lead to more。 I could I loved this book SO MUCH！！！ It has all the elements we love from Elle Kennedy and so much more。 Wes was a wonderfully sad but amazing character。 He hasn’t ever felt love and doesn’t think he deserves it。 Then there’s Jamie who is so laid back and methodical。 I just loved how the povs wove this beautiful story。 The friendship， the love and the hockey elements was everything I wanted。 I enjoyed the struggles they each went through and the strong connection of friendship that lead to more。 I couldn’t put it down。 。。。more

I liked it more than I expected to given that I’m not really into sports books。 While the hockey is a major part of the story， it didn’t feel too overwhelming。 I’m not sure if I’ll read the sequel since it ended so nicely and I’d rather not read about problems cropping up for the boys。

Hace tiempo que le tenía echado el ojo a esta novela porque siempre que busco recomendaciones dentro del género m/m contemporáneo este es de los nombres que más se repiten con diferencia， así que por fin me animé y ha sido el primer libro que he empezado y terminado en 2022。Los protagonistas de esta historia son Ryan Wesley y Jamie Canning， dos mejores amigos que pasaban todos los veranos juntos en un campamento de hockey， hasta que cuando tenían 18 años tuvieron un encuentro sexual que hizo que Hace tiempo que le tenía echado el ojo a esta novela porque siempre que busco recomendaciones dentro del género m/m contemporáneo este es de los nombres que más se repiten con diferencia， así que por fin me animé y ha sido el primer libro que he empezado y terminado en 2022。Los protagonistas de esta historia son Ryan Wesley y Jamie Canning， dos mejores amigos que pasaban todos los veranos juntos en un campamento de hockey， hasta que cuando tenían 18 años tuvieron un encuentro sexual que hizo que Wes cortara la relación por culpabilidad。 Cuatro años después， cuando ambos son estudiantes universitarios que aspiran a convertirse en jugadores profesionales， se vuelven a encontrar， y un nuevo verano en su campamento， esta vez como profesores， les hará descubrir lo que realmente existe entre ellos。He disfrutado mucho esta historia。 Tiene dos tropos que me gustan un montón: amigos que se convierten en amantes y que siguen siendo amigos cuando ya son pareja （es decir que mantienen las bromas y tal） y primera vez con alguien de su mismo sexo， en el caso de Jamie， que va descubriendo su sexualidad y todo lo que le gusta gracias a Wes （que es un encanto y siempre mira por su compañero lo primero de todo）。 Las autoras se nota que tienen experiencia escribiendo erótica y aunque creo que esta es la primera vez que escriben m/m， las escenas íntimas son fantásticas， muy sexys y no se hacen repetitivas， al contrario。Una parte importante del libro es el hockey， algo que se me hizo un poquito pesado porque en general los deportes en las novelas se me hacen un poco de bola， y más cuando son deportes de los que no sé nada de nada， pero es algo menor。Me gustó el desarrollo de la relación entre ambos aunque como suele pasar en estos casos es un poco frustrante que la mayoría de sus problemas vengan de no hablar las cosas。 También es cierto que me hubiera gustado un pelín más de trama pero en fin， es un libro de folleteo y en eso cumple a la perfección。Para el que quiera una buena historia de erótica entre hombres con buenos personajes （los dos son un amor， en especial Jamie）， en la que todo es consentido y ambos disfrutan plenamente de lo que están haciendo， con su desarrollo hacia el romance y sobre todo sexo bien escrito， Him no decepciona en absoluto。 。。。more

this was really good！ i loved their relationship and it was a overall good book。 the writing is good， nothing special。 i honestly was hoping for a more plot heavy book， and it just wasn’t that。 so i feel a bit let down。 however otherwise this was really good， and the characters were adorable。 and i really enjoyed it！
