Summary

A gorgeous new collectible edition of the beloved classic, Winnie-the-Pooh, crafted as a replica of the first American edition from 1926。

For over ninety years, Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends--Piglet, Owl, Tigger, and the ever doleful Eeyore--have endured as the unforgettable creations of A。A。 Milne, who wrote this book for his son, Christopher Robin, and Ernest H。 Shepard, who lovingly gave Pooh and his companions shape through his illustrations。

Now fans can celebrate the legacy of Pooh with a beautiful new gift edition of the original stories as they were first published in the United States。

Crafted as a replica of the first American edition of Winnie-the-Pooh, published in 1926 by E。 P。 Dutton, this elegant edition features a textured case, gold foil stamping, and illustrated endpapers。 It is the perfect gift for both new readers and passionate collectors。

Sorrow (Hanka the bookworm)

Medvídek Pú byl jednou z mých nejoblíbenějších dětských knih, teď se stal první knížkou, kterou jsem sama přečetla svojí holčičce :)

This was a great audiobook for listening in the car with kids。 The stories are short enough for trips around town, and who doesn’t love Pooh Bear? Peter Dennis’s performance was great。

A parte il discorso della pistola, del bullismo a Eeyore e alcune altre cosette è davvero stata una lettura bellissima e tenerissima <3

Loved this book, which I read for the first time with my 6 year old。 Love that it has lots of pictures and delighted in the hilarity of the author。 Only complaint is that the writing is odd and does not follow typical writing rules。

1。75Started off really irritating - voice acting, characters, plot and all - but by the end I grew fond of the warm atmosphere, despite the gritty and too-loud song interludes。 I don't think I gained anything much from listening to this though, so the ratings gotta be low, sorry。 1。75Started off really irritating - voice acting, characters, plot and all - but by the end I grew fond of the warm atmosphere, despite the gritty and too-loud song interludes。 I don't think I gained anything much from listening to this though, so the ratings gotta be low, sorry。 。。。more

I had a huge Winnie the Pooh obsession in high school and I recall finding it all really charming。 Listening to it with Maddie, it’s been fine but she’s nowhere near as in love with Pooh as Kait has fallen in love with Ramona。 It’s just。。。 okay。

Why has it been so long since I read this pearl? I just love the dry humour and all the little stories in this book。

Juan

I liked the contrast of psychology of each character, but at times the book was slow or uninteresting。

Thea

Is there anything more perfect than this?

I grew up with audiobooks and parent read-alouds of “Winnie the Pooh”, but I think this was my first time reading it on my own。 It’s pure delight and fills my soul with joy。 I love the humor, the wordplay, and the innocence and unique personalities of all the characters。 It’s also very encouraging to see a Bear of Very Little Brain blunder around with the best of intentions while still being loved and ending up okay after all。

Just best books as a child, forever in my heart

I've been feeling a bit sad lately but my sweet, silly friends from the Hundred Acre Wood were, as always, right here waiting for me。 What joy! I've been feeling a bit sad lately but my sweet, silly friends from the Hundred Acre Wood were, as always, right here waiting for me。 What joy! 。。。more

Me: “This was purely research for my book!” Narrator’s Voiceover: “And this was the moment when Carolyn lied to herself。 It wasn’t “purely research!” 😉All jokes aside, my love for Pooh and the other inhabitants of the 100 acre wood has only grown since first meeting them as a child! My deepest thanks to A。 A。 Milne and E。 H。 Shephard!

One of the dearest things to my heart。 The ability to capture childhood thoughts and feelings while simultaneously speaking to the adult mind is a skill not appreciated enough。 I cannot think of my childhood, as a child or as an adult retrospectively, without thinking of Winnie-the-Pooh。

Christy

Funnily enough this is the first time I’ve actually read the whole book。 I decided I really needed to read something aloud to Jonah (and Willan, who liked the songs and when Piglet says “AHA!”) and Henry listened in sometimes when he was home from school。 Very sweet and fun, and I like the challenge it is for littles to listen to。

Mike Graczyk

I was in awe by this warm, loving, beautiful tale。 The whimsy of it still captivates nearly a century later, and I found myself laughing out loud several times throughout。 It was exactly the kind of book the world needs now, and Milne has created a masterpiece then that stands the test of time。 (10)

Pooh means a lot to me。 He got me through some difficult times when I was younger and I was so happy to find such an edition。 If you have never read Winnie the Pooh before it is essentially a tale told at bedtime, of a young boy called Christopher Robin and his animals。 Winnie the Pooh is perhaps of the most import。。。 But then there is Eyeore, Kanga and Roo, Rabbit, Owl, and Piglet。 There are the various mishaps and adventures they go through and the collection ends with the promise of more stor Pooh means a lot to me。 He got me through some difficult times when I was younger and I was so happy to find such an edition。 If you have never read Winnie the Pooh before it is essentially a tale told at bedtime, of a young boy called Christopher Robin and his animals。 Winnie the Pooh is perhaps of the most import。。。 But then there is Eyeore, Kanga and Roo, Rabbit, Owl, and Piglet。 There are the various mishaps and adventures they go through and the collection ends with the promise of more stories。 To those who have never met the Bear called Winnie the Pooh, he can be difficult to describe。 He is incredibly brave and kind, but whats more he is a true example of friendship。 For more ages than one I suspect。 Highly recommend to all。 。。。more

A。A。 Milne wrote books that were meant to be read alloud to children。 This book is just sweet and pure while being entertaining to both children and adults alike。 10 out of 10 recommend!

It enchanting as a child and endearing as an adult! I can’t help but relive my falling in love phase for this children’s classic! Also, there’s beautiful little pieces of wisdom in it if you’re open to introspection! Would recommend。 Would read again happily!

Charming and timeless。
