The books on the witchcraft part is great for those who practice beginner style witchcraft and just wants a quick run through。- Harmony's style of writing is a little informal， but easy to read （Thanks to the font which is well spaced out） and helps the beginner to get their heads wrapped around basics of witchcraft。- There is a small amount of resources at the back of the book that helps the beginner branch out from after reading the book。- It's good for inspiration on spells。- Good on saying things like you don't need expensive resources to be a good witch。Bad Points~ Heavy misinformation 。。。。。Everywhere。 ~ She literally promotes littering。 I will quote it and list the page:pg164 "Take your jar and the offering to a river， the beach or somewhere appropriate for disposing of the situation。。Place or throw the jar into the water and then turn your back on it。 Throw your offering over your shoulder into the water too。"~ - Very slow read due to the vagueness and wishy washy bits。- The history is not as detailed as it could’ve been。 Paganism was watered down to just a nature religion which gripped my shite。 There was no details on Gardner， the FOUNDER of Wicca - Or important figures in witchcraft。- Very repetitive- Despite the title of the book， it informs little about Wicca itself and entirely focuses on witchcraft for the rest of the book。• Nature has 3 pages…。• The deities are undermined heavily and are used more like insignificant correspondences。There’s deities from closed practices…- Very disorganised， which makes the book for beginners confusing。 You’d think it’d open to why you’d choose wicca， the history of WICCA not WITCHCRAFT， an ye harm none， an analysis on the wiccan rede （her personal thoughts） and so on。 Nope。- Literally copies multiple correspondences from other books （too many pictures to take）- I was wishing it was a bit more detailed on…Wicca。 I want to know more of the origins on the Horned God （Gospel of the witches， Hunter Gods etc）， the Triple Goddess （Why 3， what to do if you don’t resonate with MMC， why shes important）， the religious values， Wiccan weddings + funerals…。）…。- The sabbats are copied from her Enchanted Endeavours series。 There’s little context。- The spells and rituals are presented in a way of if you just wish really hard and light some incense， things will come your way。- “Be nice so people will like you。"™ ◕‿◕- Her cosy livelihood is very remittent in her personal stories。 Her family is extremely accepting。 She lives in a rural area giving her easy access to nature。 Therefore， personally I found it difficult to relate to her experiences。- Chunks of mental health talks take a good 40% of the book。- The ingredients in most of the spells are hard to come by in more out of the way areas like where I live personally。You could literally buy any other beginner 101 and learn the same things but with more context。 You could search this up on any other than website and get the same correspondences spat out and more history。I had so many expectations and was so let down and disappointed。 It’s just her written script from her videos， unfortunately。 For instance I thought she’d talk more in detail about the methods of divination （Origins， history of use， potential creators， her favourite diviners…）。 I wanted more on Gardner， Valiente…I wanted the origins in detail。 I thought she might include the things she had been promising since her big sudden halt。 Maybe I just expected too much。As a beginner I felt dissatisfied and almost cheated out of my money。 I bought it for Wicca， not witchcraft。 A Wiccan can practice the beliefs， and not the practises。 This is why the Wicca vs Witchcraft vs Paganism is so confusing now。 Everybody’s frightened of saying if something is wrong because of personal opinions and beliefs。In conclusion - Look towards original books like Scott Cunningham’s， if you want to look properly at Wicca。 Overall， it’s a very basic book and be sure to purchase at a discounted price。[Old review from my tumblr blog/June 15th 2019] 。。。more
