I started this in physical format and read 300 pages and was so stressed about my feelings I put it to the side。 I started over via audiobook and am so glad I did。 All I can say is I hope we get narration from Hudson in book 3。

I loved how in this book everything evolved。 The world begins to open up more and it begins to feel more like a paranormal fantasy than a romance， which I loved！ The change in tone allowed me to become much more invested in the characters and the over arching story line。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I hated this book so much that I felt compelled to write my very first Goodreads review。 And let’s just say I’ve been disappointed by lots of books in the past。 I devoured Crave in a day （may or may not have stayed up until 4 am to finish。 Oops。） and couldn’t stand to wait on my library’s wait list for Crush， so I actually purchased this e-book （and I NEVER buy books， ever。 Because then I’d definitely be broke and I have to draw the line somewhere）。 I made it maybe a quarter of the way through C I hated this book so much that I felt compelled to write my very first Goodreads review。 And let’s just say I’ve been disappointed by lots of books in the past。 I devoured Crave in a day （may or may not have stayed up until 4 am to finish。 Oops。） and couldn’t stand to wait on my library’s wait list for Crush， so I actually purchased this e-book （and I NEVER buy books， ever。 Because then I’d definitely be broke and I have to draw the line somewhere）。 I made it maybe a quarter of the way through Crush， saw exactly where the storyline was heading， and read spoilers on Goodreads to confirm my thoughts before wasting more of my time on the book。 So glad I did。Of course love triangles are to be expected in a YA paranormal romance series — I was totally onboard with Flint being the other side of the triangle。 But Jaxon’s brother？！ Uhm EW。 I was not okay with it in the Vampire Diaries and I’m not okay with it now。 In general， I’m always rooting for love interest #1 in a series because unless they’re a total a-hole， that’s who I’ve spent 500+ pages or so getting to know。 The only exception has been ACOTAR， I was totally okay with Rhys and Feyre getting together ~swoon~。 However， the love interest switch-up in this book DOES。 NOT。 WORK。 I can’t believe I wasted my money just to read this trash。 Jaxon was done so dirty in this book。 All the chemistry and rapport between him and Grace just evaporated and right from the get-go she ignores him in favor of Hudson。Sorry not sorry but I’m officially considering Crave a stand-alone book。 I don’t care if Hudson ends up being the purest angel vamp out there， Jaxon and Grace were adorable in Crave and I loved seeing them interact with his friends。 Crush so far has just been Grace ignoring everyone to argue with Hudson。 Sigh。I’ll be over here dreaming about how amazing this series could have been。 。。。more

This book seems to have mixed ratings BUT。。This book was better than the first and I enjoyed the first quite a lot。 I didn’t expect this series to grip me this much。 It really is fun， addicting and enchanting to read。 The character development is good and the attachment to the characters I have makes the series that much more loveable for me。 Cant wait to begin the next book。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This book was WAY better than the first in my opinion。 More so of the brain of Grace and Hudson since they are kind of stuck together。 From start to end it was well rounded。 BUT THIS TAKES THE CAKE FOR CLIFFHANGER ENDING。 Very Vampire Diaries for the switch that was made。 I was upset about it happened but then couldn’t help but get behind it。 Hudson does feel like a better match。 I’m so interested in the next book now and I’m bummed I can’t listen to it。 😭

4。5/5。 If you read Crave but did not like it enough to continue reading any of the other books， I recommend reading at least the first half of Crush before you officially say goodbye to the series。 I fell in love with the book the minute I read the first chapter， but the book really starts to get good when you reach the 22% point。 This was so much better than the first book in the series。 The character growth that I wanted to see in Grace happened （thankfully）; she became more independent in thi 4。5/5。 If you read Crave but did not like it enough to continue reading any of the other books， I recommend reading at least the first half of Crush before you officially say goodbye to the series。 I fell in love with the book the minute I read the first chapter， but the book really starts to get good when you reach the 22% point。 This was so much better than the first book in the series。 The character growth that I wanted to see in Grace happened （thankfully）; she became more independent in this book and started to depend on herself to get out of bad situations。 There will be major spoilers in this section of the review（scroll down） If you read my review for Crave then you know that I am not a fan of Grace and Jaxon together。 I don't really have anything against Jaxon necessarily （well at least nothing major-he did bother me at some points）， I just don't think he's the right person for Grace。 So you can imagine how happy I was to meet the Hudson Vega。 Hudson is one of the most attractive book characters that I have come across in a LONG time。 His level of sarcasm is elite， and his banter with Grace immediately made me start shipping the two of them together。 I mentally screamed every time they talked to each other。 Hudson is supportive and constantly pushes Grace to be the best version of herself because he knows how amazing she is （like Grace would say-as he should）。 Also， the second Flint said that people could be mated with more than one person I knew that Jaxon and Grace would be mates （and I was right ;） ） I WAS EXPECTING GRACE TO REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED WITH HUDSON WHEN SHE WAS A GARGOYLE FOR MONTHS AND WAS VERY MAD WHEN SHE DIDN'T。 Hopefully she remembers in Covet！ My Favorite Moments - Hudson and Grace dancing in the laundry room and listening to "Good Feeling" and "Shut Up and Dance" （I may or may not have listen to the songs so I could pretend I was dancing with them）-Ludares Tournament -Hudson and Grace racing Overall: I loved this！ If you liked Crave I think you would most likely like this one too， and if you didn't I still think you should give it a shot :） 。。。more
