Kai me cayo mil veces mejor que Michael， su relación con Banks se construyó muchísimo mejor y siento que tiene un mejor trasfondo de los personajes pero sacando esto el libro no va para ningún lado literal ninguno de los problemas planteados se resuelven y el final quedo muy mehhh， siento que tenia mucho potencial este libro pero todo quedo muy en la nada。

I have the cover with the graveyard。 I love the cover I have better than the one displayed on here。 Another WOW ！！！ For me。 I liked Rika and Michaels story， but I related better to Banks and Kais story。 I liked the fact that Banks came from nothing。 Also， as to have no spoilers， I will say that this book was steamy， thrilling， and engaging。 Another win in the Devils 😈 Night series。 On to Kill Switch next。

WOW！ When I read Corrupt， I knew Kai was my favourite his gentle and kind side towards Rika won me over because even though he was gentle and kind on the outside he was dark， meaner， quiet but always watching 。。。 and he liked watching！ This story took my breath away I did not see Banks being a half-sister to the wicked devil Damon， this was twisted， dark and bullying and abuse I found so satisfying！

This series！ I am absolutely loving it and I hate that it has taken me so long to start it。 Banks might be one of my top 5 female characters。 She’s sheltered but scrappy， cause she is not afraid to throw down。 Kai is everything I thought he’d be kind， caring， and always looking out for his people。 I can not wait to see what happens next with Damon。 Of this is a must read as well！

Alright party people。。。。from what I have seen in the general public， the "faves" from this series are Corrupt and Killswitch。 While I did LOVE Michael and Rika's story， I was OBBSESSED with Kai and Banks。 Even in the first book， Kai was my favorite out of all of the horseman （that sauna scene had me needing a COLD shower） so I was so excited for his story。 There is something about his "I have everything under control and my shit is handled" outward persona that makes his "I want to be someone el Alright party people。。。。from what I have seen in the general public， the "faves" from this series are Corrupt and Killswitch。 While I did LOVE Michael and Rika's story， I was OBBSESSED with Kai and Banks。 Even in the first book， Kai was my favorite out of all of the horseman （that sauna scene had me needing a COLD shower） so I was so excited for his story。 There is something about his "I have everything under control and my shit is handled" outward persona that makes his "I want to be someone else for awhile and let go of everything and do/take whatever the fuck I want from this world" inward desires so DAMN alluring。 It is not secret this series is riddled with trigger warnings so be sure to read them before taking it on。 Anywayyysssss。。。。。 This review is fairly spoiler free but continue on at your own risk because I will be mentioning minor plot points and the emotions they STOLE from me。 So this sinful little book starts off hitting hard with that damn confession scene。。。 needless to say I was hooked from that point on。 The "creepy" factor is still here with the second book and the character development and spice are so well done。 （as usual with Douglas） I really enjoy the way Douglas writes from multiple POV and timelines （past and present）。 She has such a magical way of having all of the pieces slowly （painfully so at times， I do need sleep ya know） pull together as you near the end。 Banks stole my heart and I found myself rooting for her the entire book to take what she wants from life and finally go live it。 Though she didn't really get there on her own （Kai sort of forced her hand-in a totally hot way） she did get there and she was eventually given the power of choice and I am SO happy with the one she made。 。。。more

3，9Eu gostei MUITO MAIS DESSE do que do primeiro livro da série （que eu achei bem complicado em vários momentos）。Gostei mais do protagonista masculino e da protagonista feminina e o relacionamento deles foi muito mais legal de acompanhar do que os do primeiro livro。 Achei mais natural e mais empolgante。 A Banks é uma personagem bem forte e eu torcia pela felicidade dela， só gostaria de ter visto mais sobre ela sem ser o relacionamento: o que ela gosta de fazer， quais cursos pensa em fazer， quais 3，9Eu gostei MUITO MAIS DESSE do que do primeiro livro da série （que eu achei bem complicado em vários momentos）。Gostei mais do protagonista masculino e da protagonista feminina e o relacionamento deles foi muito mais legal de acompanhar do que os do primeiro livro。 Achei mais natural e mais empolgante。 A Banks é uma personagem bem forte e eu torcia pela felicidade dela， só gostaria de ter visto mais sobre ela sem ser o relacionamento: o que ela gosta de fazer， quais cursos pensa em fazer， quais seus hobbies， e se ela não sabe （porque o background da personagem faz parecer que ela não sabe ou nunca teve a chance de descobrir， já que sempre orbitou a vida de outros personagens）， gostaria de ter visto ela pelo menos se questionando quanto a isso。 Ela é uma personagem inteligente e dona de si， gostaria de ver mais isso dela sem ser na esfera romântica。O Kai é um personagem tão， mas TÃO melhor que o Michel， que nossa。 Legal ver que pelo menos um dos Cavaleiros realmente trabalha hahahah e legal ver como ele evolui。 Eu gosto dele。Vou seguir lendo porque quero ver como a autora vai lidar com o problema do Damon （que é um problemão， se a autora colocar só um romance pra resolver os problemas dele， e não mencionar em nenhum momento que esse indivíduo PRECISA de tratamento psicológico eu vou ficar MUITO de cara， porque não é bom representar um romance como fosse resolver todos os problemas dele e como se uma mulher devesse/conseguisse ajudar ele sozinha só com seu amor。。。 eu já problematizando antes de ler o livro hahah a real é que o Kai também precisava de terapia， mas autora achou um jeito bem inusitado e que eu não gostei， e a Banks também， só que se eu for ficar aqui falando de todo mundo que precisa de terapia nesses livros， fico aqui pra sempre）。Tem outras coisas que achei que poderiam ser melhores， mas preguiça de comentar。 No geral eu gostei e acho que vou levar comigo essa experiência de finalmente ter gostado de um dark romance/bully romance （não sei como classificar os livros dessa autora）。 É isso， vamos pro terceiro。 。。。more
