I liked the book， a good beach read， but was disappointed that the ending just prepped for the 3rd book without and type of closure。 Granted it is a series， I just expect something， not a complete cliff hanger。

3。5 rounded down。 I felt like a lot of this book was background for the impending third book in the series。 Just when things started to get good， the book was over！ I did; however， enjoy reading Rosie’s perspective and learning more about the Steele family and the other cast of characters。 And at the end of the day， I can’t wait to read the final book in the series。

Strangely， I did not find this to be a good book yet I still somewhat enjoyed it。 It’s quite ridiculous， so many misunderstandings and cat and mouse games。 And same issue I had with the first book in the series…。 Infidelity。 But all that said I’m kinda invested in the characters and for straight fluff it was alright。 Will probably read book 3 just because I’ve come this far。 And again， love the St。 John setting。
