This is the 5th book in the series and I must admit that I didn't like this book as much as the others。 Danny & Faith broke up 17 years ago (right after high school) and the town has never forgiven Faith for breaking Danny's heart。 Really? They are upset that teenagers broke up? And she felt like she couldn't return。 So much drama for teenagers that broke up 17 years ago。I just didn't feel the connection between Danny & Faith - and I really wanted to like this book so much。 It's a cute book and This is the 5th book in the series and I must admit that I didn't like this book as much as the others。 Danny & Faith broke up 17 years ago (right after high school) and the town has never forgiven Faith for breaking Danny's heart。 Really? This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy。I have really enjoyed this series with the Miller family and amazed at how dysfunctional the father is but his children seem to have a better handle on life!Danny and Faith both suffered a loss and seem like they blame the other so when they talk about their past, secrets come out and yet they still can't agree on anything! Sometimes, they were so frustrating to me but then they finally got their act together。Along with the romance, there is a bit of mystery as Faith tries to figure out where the diseased cows are coming into contact with the contagious illness。 It seemed like they should have been able to connect the dots a bit faster and figure this out but I guess with their emotions so involved that it took longer!I am glad that their mother is now a part of their lives and they are getting to know their half sister。 Hope that there will be more books with this family as they are a great read! 。。。more

Yay, another Miller brother bites the dust! What can I say: I like hot cowboys and Kate creates the best stories around them! After the series on the Morgan ranch, she is now doing a series on the Miller family, who live next door to the Morgan's。 And since I had already enjoyed Ben's story in The Rebellious Rancher and Raiden's story in The Rancher meets this match, I was very happy that now it was Danny's turn。 Because at thirty five, Danny doesn't think he will ever find a woman to settle down Yay, another Miller brother bites the dust! Faith and Danny were in love believing they would be together forever, until they weren't。 Almost two decades later circumstances bring them back together。 Can time and space heal old hurts, recriminations and personal dramas? They have a lot to work through, all the while battling an illness that is devastating the Miller cattle。 Though not my favourite book in the series, I still enjoyed it overall。 Faith and Danny were in love believing they would be together forever, until they weren't。 Almost two decades later circumstances bring them back together。 Can time and space heal old hurts, recriminations and personal dramas? Another great addition to The Miller’s of Morgan Valley series。 I love a good second chance romance。 I don’t necessarily enjoy such a long span of the two main characters not seeing each other but Kate Pearce makes it work。 4 stars。

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy as I loved it and wanted to help support a favorite author。First thing about this book that as it is a part of a series of the Miller siblings of Morgan Valley, it can be read as a stand-alone。 That being said, I would highly recommend reading the series especially if you adore cowboys finding their true love。 This book, along with the series, is very well written。 The plot flows beautifully to the point that I felt like I I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy as I loved it and wanted to help support a favorite author。First thing about this book that as it is a part of a series of the Miller siblings of Morgan Valley, it can be read as a stand-alone。 That being said, I would highly recommend reading the series especially if you adore cowboys finding their true love。 This book, along with the series, is very well written。 The plot flows beautifully to the point that I felt like I was right there with them。 I loved that prior characters also made multiple appearances so I was able to revisit "old friends"。This tale of a second chance with a first love that did not disappoint。 I heart broke for these two。 I loved how the author kept the lines of communication open but just enough so the characters came across as more mature (since they were both 34) and not childish。This book is written in a dual POV format。 Getting that glimpse into a character's thoughts during a scene, really helps me to connect with them better。 I can really identify and enjoy the story so much better that way。This is a sexy read with a small scene between the two main characters。 Also I applaud the author of introducing to a small degree Faith's brother's love of someone that may offend some。 BUT she did it in a way that they only danced and embraced。 That being said I would highly recommend this wonderful story to anyone OVER the age of 18。 。。。more

Good series of books!Definitely would recommend the series。 This wasn’t my favorite, could’ve definitely done without the side story of Faith’s brother。 I also felt like we could’ve gotten more in-depth of the feelings they had once had and had obviously always carried。 But it was a good read。 Definitely plan to read the last brother’s story。

Sweet Talking Rancher is the latest in The Millers of Morgan Valley series by Kate Pearce。 I was on pins and needles waiting for this story and while I enjoyed revisiting with the past characters, the emotional toll on what both Danny's and Faith's parents did to them weighed heavy in my mind and I found it a bit depressing and sad。 Personally, I was not in the right mindset for this book。 Even though this one hit me a bit too hard, I am looking forward to the next story。 Sweet Talking Rancher is the latest in The Millers of Morgan Valley series by Kate Pearce。 I was on pins and needles waiting for this story and while I enjoyed revisiting with the past characters, the emotional toll on what both Danny's and Faith's parents did to them weighed heavy in my mind and I found it a bit depressing and sad。 Personally, I was not in the right mindset for this book。 Even though this one hit me a bit too hard, I am looking forward to the next story。 。。。more

A convoluted past and bovine illness。Danny and Faith were 17 and pregnant, ran off to Vegas, but then things get complicated for Faith。 Danny goes home and continues on the family ranch, while Faith has a rocky path and many obstacles。 She's back and now they are dealing with a bovine infection (there was a lot of time spent on ill cows)。 I think their back story could have been cleared up by a phone call, some sort of communication, but well, that would be too easy。 I do like Kate's writing。 A convoluted past and bovine illness。Danny and Faith were 17 and pregnant, ran off to Vegas, but then things get complicated for Faith。 Danny goes home and continues on the family ranch, while Faith has a rocky path and many obstacles。 She's back and now they are dealing with a bovine infection (there was a lot of time spent on ill cows)。 I think their back story could have been cleared up by a phone call, some sort of communication, but well, that would be too easy。 I do like Kate's writing。 。。。more
