Summary

I only finished this book because I'm not a quitter, but seriously I'm done with this series。 It's gotten so boring and dragged out bummer because the first book showed potential。 I only finished this book because I'm not a quitter, but seriously I'm done with this series。 It's gotten so boring and dragged out bummer because the first book showed potential。 。。。more

2, 75★So much better than the second one! This series is a shit show and very dramatic, but entertaining for sure。 I appreciated that this book didn’t only focus on the romance or the mates。 I liked the actions scenes until we arrived to the prison, those chapters were so painfully slow and overwhelming in the worst way possible。 The ending of the book was a little bit tiring, everything was repetitive and slow。 It’s weird how different the story is from the first book, I still want to read the 2, 75★So much better than the second one! Did Hudson’s “pupils blow out” again? Was sort of magical drugs was he using?

I loved the third book of the series。 The relationship between Grace and Hudson is so steamy and I am really excited for the next book。 I hope that there's more scenes of their relationship and they live happily ever after。 I loved the third book of the series。 The relationship between Grace and Hudson is so steamy and I am really excited for the next book。 I hope that there's more scenes of their relationship and they live happily ever after。 。。。more

I’m dying。 My heart hurts。 This whole series is one big huge incredible heartbreaker。Let me be honest。 I went into this series with LOW expectations。 I obviously had no idea what I was getting myself into。 Because it has completely crushed me in all the right ways and I’m disappointed in myself for (literally) judging a book by its cover。 I know I’m not prepared for the fourth one, but I cannot WAIT to read it。 。。。more

What can I say that hasn't been said the past two book reviews on this series。 I can't tell if the books got better or I just grew accustomed to them。 Hudson is a wonderful book boyfriend and I am so happy I hopped on the Hudson Vega train back in book one。 Maybe that says something about me as a person and the characters I lean towards - HA! This seemed to be the best book of the series so far, but again, I lean into the Hudson of it all。 All the vampire tropes are here from the YA classics of TVD and Twilight。 Can't not love two brothers of course。 And naturally, Hudson is the Rhys (not to say Jackson is Tamlin), but in the sense that he lets the MC, Grace, be who she is and learn who she is and accepts her flaws and all。 Just like Damon with Elena。 It's all there。 Things are dragged on more so than they should be, but there's a battle, dragons flying around, people die。。。it's a magic school and things are ever dooming - what did you expect? If you're looking for a light easy read, but want to still stay in the realm of fantasy, go for it。 It will be interesting to see how these books translate to screen。 I mean, if they can make Twilight the phenomenon that it became, anything is possible。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Everyone knows how bad Hudson is until they found out the truth behind the killing。 He just want to keep the others safe because if not, everyone will die because of Cyrus (Hudson and Jaxon’s father the king of Vampire)。 Cyrus who’s hungry in powers, who almost killed Grace, but Hudson to the rescue, had saved Grace。 I love the whole friendship in this book Hudson, Jaxon, Grace, Macy, Eden, Flint, Mekhi, Luca。 This squad was so badass。The war was so heartbreaking, for Luca being dead, Flint almo Everyone knows how bad Hudson is until they found out the truth behind the killing。 He just want to keep the others safe because if not, everyone will die because of Cyrus (Hudson and Jaxon’s father the king of Vampire)。 Cyrus who’s hungry in powers, who almost killed Grace, but Hudson to the rescue, had saved Grace。 I love the whole friendship in this book Hudson, Jaxon, Grace, Macy, Eden, Flint, Mekhi, Luca。 This squad was so badass。The war was so heartbreaking, for Luca being dead, Flint almost die but still, Grace keep saving him by taking energy from Jaxon and Hudson。 When Flint wokes up he saw what happened in his surroundings until he saw Jaxon and Luca lifeless。 I cried for what Flint feels after seeing that。 Until Nuri (Flint’s mother) sacrifice her dragon heart and gave it to Jaxon so he will live and get his soul again。Can I just say how annoyed I am to Cyrus? Holy cow! I could not put this book down, and when I had to, I thought about it the whole time I was away from it。 Grace is growing into a confident woman and is getting more and more comfortable with her gargoyle, and her feelings toward Hudson。 I love Jaxson, don't get me wrong, but I love Hudson and Grace together。 They really compliment each other, and they can lean on each other for strength/ support- they grow to trust and form a deeper love。 Flint and Luca develop a cute and adorable rela Holy cow! I think I died again? Honestly, I had really though Crush would have ripped my soul to shreds in an irreparable way, but I have to admit that Covet really wins the award for 'best emotion demolition squad'。 The ending was bad。 Like, really bad。 But not in a bad way, just in a way that made me feel like I was getting hit by a 25,000 pound school bus on loop, the same way Regina gets hit at the ending of Mean Girls。 Conclusion: you will unequivocally get wrecked。 No matter how much you prepare。 Em I think I died again? It took me forever to read。 Partly because I’ve been busy, partly because the book was a bit exhausting and partly because it was kind of disappointing。 I really enjoyed the first two books but this one felt sort of rushed? I don’t know。 It was kind of a shit show。 The flow of events just didn’t feel as natural。 I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either。 I’ll probably read the last one in hopes it’s better… and also because I hate leaving a story unfinished。 We’ll see。。

Great continuationGreat continuation of the story。 Didn't really like the pity party that Grace had, but moved the story along。 And the back and forth with the "it's only the bond"thing was annoying, but she's a teenager after all, so I guess that makes sense。 Some parts were long and let's just get on with the story already。 Overall enjoyable and will continue to read the series。 Just hope it doesn't go on forever because I will lose interest fast。 Great continuationGreat continuation of the story。 Didn't really like the pity party that Grace had, but moved the story along。 And the back and forth with the "it's only the bond"thing was annoying, but she's a teenager after all, so I guess that makes sense。 Some parts were long and let's just get on with the story already。 Overall enjoyable and will continue to read the series。 Just hope it doesn't go on forever because I will lose interest fast。 。。。more
