I am done with the book, and I think that it is very good, and I would definitely recommend it to some people。 Here is a message to the people that are reading this。 If you are interested in this book, where cats are going around in clans, then I would love it, and so will you, if you start to read this book series。 the thing is though, you have to start with the book into the wild, and go from there。 Happy reading!!

This is the Dutch translation of SunsetWell, I think that this book was the less of the series for me。 It felt like a repeat of the problems between Firestar and Tigerstar all over again。 I missed the connection that I had with the other books。 In these I flew trough, but this one I needed to struggle through。 I still love Leafpool, but she needs to grow in her role as a medicin cat as she is so insecure。 And I secretly want her to be together with Ravenpaw。 This is the Dutch translation of SunsetWell, I think that this book was the less of the series for me。 It felt like a repeat of the problems between Firestar and Tigerstar all over again。 I missed the connection that I had with the other books。 In these I flew trough, but this one I needed to struggle through。 I still love Leafpool, but she needs to grow in her role as a medicin cat as she is so insecure。 And I secretly want her to be together with Ravenpaw。 。。。more

What a pleasure to read the doubts in the characters, doubts that we also feel, as human。 Funny how a cat story can affect me so much 😻

I wasn't expecting this series to end on a sort-of cliff hanger! And Brambleclaw needs therapy。 I wasn't expecting this series to end on a sort-of cliff hanger! And Brambleclaw needs therapy。 。。。more

The was it was written in such detail and the different perspectives of Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather was perfection。 Seeing how the three reacted to different situations made the book so much more interesting。 Plus watching everything unravel in Hollyleaf was amazing to see, seeing how she reacted to her mother being a medicine cat and her father of another clan was like watching a storm blaze in and destroy everything。 Overall this was a great book to read and I recom I loved this book! I love how quickly I can fly through these books。 Seriously, it only takes me 2 or so hours to finish one。 Because of this, I can pretty much ignore the problems with them, and just enjoy。 My favorite thing about this one was definitely the disappearance of the Crow and Leaf drama。 It had driven me crazy in the last book, so I'm super happy that its over, for now at least。 I also loved seeing Cloudtail and Brightheart fix their relationship。 Although I'm not a fan of the next arc, I'll be contin I love how quickly I can fly through these books。 Seriously, it only takes me 2 or so hours to finish one。 Because of this, I can pretty much ignore the problems with them, and just enjoy。 My favorite thing about this one was definitely the disappearance of the Crow and Leaf drama。 It had driven me crazy in the last book, so I'm super happy that its over, for now at least。 I also loved seeing Cloudtail and Brightheart fix their relationship。 Although I'm not a fan of the next arc, I'll be continuing my reread 。。。more

It’s really not one of the best book in the series, as nothing in particular happen and there’s no plot twist as usual, but I’m very happy with the ending and I’m obviously going to read more!

This was a great way to end the second series。 I do wish that the love angst between Leafpool and Crowfeather could have been given a more satisfying conclusion, but I'd say that was the only thing that felt off in this last book。 The rest of it was good: the pace was decent, it had enough action and intrigue to keep me engaged, and the struggles that the characters went through were all done well and believably。I do think that the emotional whiplash some characters go through is a bit much some This was a great way to end the second series。 I do wish that the love angst between Leafpool and Crowfeather could have been given a more satisfying conclusion, but I'd say that was the only thing that felt off in this last book。 The rest of it was good: the pace was decent, it had enough action and intrigue to keep me engaged, and the struggles that the characters went through were all done well and believably。I do think that the emotional whiplash some characters go through is a bit much sometimes。 For example, Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw were clawing at each other (metaphorically and almost literally at times) and then all of a sudden they were fine。 Onestar was being really aggressive against Thunder Clan and then suddenly helpful。 I'm still not entirely sure what was going on with Stormfur and Brook。Like I said, I think the struggles the characters went through were done well。 Brambleclaw struggled a lot with wanting to climb the ranks while honoring his clan, and wanting to think the best of his father and half-brother。 It did get annoyingly repetitive how often other characters gave him suspicious squints because he dared to have ambition。 I also liked Mothwing's struggle with wanting to be a good medicine cat but not having faith in Star Clan。 The reveal of why she lost that faith is very heart-breaking。There's not much else I can think to say about this series。 It had some high moments, some low moments, but over all I enjoyed it。 Can't wait to see what the next series has to offer! 。。。more

I wanted to like this book, I really wanted like I probably did almost ten years ago。 But now, it was just a 2。5 read for me (I'm rounding up, that's why the 3 stars)。 The story of Sunset was quite underwhelming。 Nothing happened, you can summarize the relevant plot in two sentences。 At some points, the book felt slow as well, even though there are only ~300 pages。 Some of the (more or less silly) conflicts finally get resolved in this one though: (view spoiler)[Onestar and Firestar are friends I wanted to like this book, I really wanted like I probably did almost ten years ago。 But now, it was just a 2。5 read for me (I'm rounding up, that's why the 3 stars)。 The story of Sunset was quite underwhelming。 Nothing happened, you can summarize the relevant plot in two sentences。 At some points, the book felt slow as well, even though there are only ~300 pages。 Some of the (more or less silly) conflicts finally get resolved in this one though: (view spoiler)[Onestar and Firestar are friends again, Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight realize their feelings for each other, Brightheart and Cloudtail finally make up and Mothwing is free from Hawkfrost。 (hide spoiler)]Let's start with something positive: like I wrote in my last Warriors review, I appreciate the mechanism around dreams, how cats can share dreams and so on。 I'm always happy to see cats from season 1 generally, even if it's only in dreams。 The writing of Tigerstar still amazes me as well。 Even though he's dead for many moons, he's still able to frighten the cats (and me too lmao)。 Comparing to the last books, we even had some small character development。 Leafpool finally realizes her importance and value for the Clan and she's more reflective than the past books。 I could feel her pain of (view spoiler)[Cinderpelt dying (hide spoiler)] quite strong and I felt sorry for her。 However, she's silly that she thinks that Cinderpelt doesn't like her anymore, of course the does。 Also, I don't understand why she didn't told Firestar about Brambleclaw's dreams? She's kind of naive as well when (view spoiler)[she didn't realize that Mothwing was lying about the prophecy (hide spoiler)], but on the other hand, the noticed immediately that Brambleclaw's wound is from Tigerstar。 I'm kind of divided when it comes to Brambleclaw。 On the one hand, he's stupid that he doesn't realize the true intentions of Hawkfrost。 But on the other hand, he was cute at some points (view spoiler)[when he was so happy to become the deputy or when he was around Squirrelflight (hide spoiler)]。 When looking at the three main narrators of The New Prophecy, he's my favorite。 Acutally, the writing itself was not very good in this one。 All the rhetorical questions in the inner monologues of the narrators were too much and there were too many consecutive clauses as well (Cat XY assumed/agreed/thought/felt/believed/saw that。。。) which I didn't enjoy。 When it comes to emotions of the cats, it was often more telling than showing。Some aspects of the story seemed rather illogical to me as well。 One of these things is the ShadowClan。 They are like Slytherins that are always there when something bad is happening and are just evil for the sake of it。 But mostly of all irritated me (view spoiler)[that apparently, Cinderpelt is reborn。 Just why? If you don't want to lose a character as a writer, just don't kill them。 I'm really not a fan of this and I wish it was explained a bit more。 Is it possible for all cats? What are the conditions for StarClan cats to be reborn? Can they choose if they want to be reborn? It seems to me like a lazy way to keep a character in your story。 (hide spoiler)]The worst thing about Sunset is the ending, which is also supposed to be the conclusion to the whole second season。 It was so anticlimactic and unsatisfying when comparing it to The Darkest Hour: (view spoiler)[There, the final fight is actually about life and death。 We see how much Firestar has grown and all those cats that are around him。 The last fight is simply epic with Firestar being able to defeat Scourge。 The we look at the ending of Sunset: It was quite a shock to see Firestar in the fox trap and I was invested in it。 But then, all that comes around it is a inner conflict of Brambleclaw and a fight between him and Hawkfrost that lasts like five pages。 And then, it's just over。 It's not helpful for that there is a Leafpool chapter cut in-between where she just feels something is wrong which takes out the whole tension of the scene。 I don't know, it's probably a built up to the next season with the information that Tigerstar is still there (hide spoiler)]。 To summarize it: The New Prophecy comes not even close to the first season。 Firepaw/-heart/-star is such an amazing character, and the first season came to an amazing conclusion with a great character development of Firestar。 But when I look at Brambleclaw, Leafpool and Squirrelflight, I can't help it but be disappointed。 They are overall flat characters and I barely cared for them like I did for Firestar back in season 1。 Until Dawn, the plot is amazing with the travel as its climax, but then the quality fell and barely anything remarkable happened。 I remember that I enjoyed season 3 and I'm quite excited to read it。 We already got some references for the next season。 Hopefully, the three are more interesting narrators than the narrators we now had。 Warriors - The New Prophecy➳ Midnight: ★★★➳ Moonrise: ★★★★➳ Dawn: ★★★★★➳ Starlight: ★★★★➳ Twilight: ★★➳ Sunset: ★★。5 Rating for the whole series: 3。4 。。。more

It was a sad ending to the series。 Not because of the events in the book, but rather due to a lack of events in the book。 The first three books in the series were gripping, 4th and 5th were fillers, and I really hoped that the last one would end with a great buildup and a satisfying resolution。 It did not。 It went on and on with nothing happening, cats not communicating with each other, very obvious foreshadowing, faint traces of conflicts that never escalated or were addressed。。。。 And then out It was a sad ending to the series。 Not because of the events in the book, but rather due to a lack of events in the book。 The first three books in the series were gripping, 4th and 5th were fillers, and I really hoped that the last one would end with a great buildup and a satisfying resolution。 It did not。 It went on and on with nothing happening, cats not communicating with each other, very obvious foreshadowing, faint traces of conflicts that never escalated or were addressed。。。。 And then out of nowhere 'everything was resolved' within the last 20 pages :( 。。。more
