Summary

The Skeleton Scare takes readers through the Hugh Mann Costume Company, where they'll learn about a different bone in each room。 As Ms。 Frizzle and her class work their way through the factory, they keep seeing a strange skeleton。 Yikes! Is it following them? Maybe, but it doesn't stop the kids from learning all about skeletons: why we need them, what different bones are for, what makes bones grow, how bones get fixed after they've been broken, and lots of other facts about our skeletons。

Who’s more fun than Ms。 Frizzle when it comes to teaching science to little minds? Ms。 Frizzle is the best and we love The Magic School Bus。 Wonderful homeschool addition to our human body studies。

Mr。 Friz takes the Magic School Bus and kids to find their missing bones off of their costumes。 I like how the author incorporates fun and learning together so my son enjoys the story, yet is learning something at the same time。

Is it high quality literature? No。 Is it endearing? Yes。 And thank you to the brilliant person on the internet who suggested doing a skeletal unit study with this book and using washable marker to draw each bone learned in the chapter on their child's body to practice it all day。 My kids were more excited to learn a new bone than follow the story。 But it was cute, and I'll read it again。 Is it high quality literature? John Paul and I read this together in just a few nights and he didn't even complain that it was a chapter book。 I picked this up used and will probably look for more in this series。 John Paul and I read this together in just a few nights and he didn't even complain that it was a chapter book。 I picked this up used and will probably look for more in this series。 。。。more

My 7 year old likes these books a lot。 He said the skeletons were a little creepy though。

My six-year old made me read it straight through! True, it was during the Coronavirus quarantine and he was hard up for entertainment, but I think he really did enjoy it。

Somehow I never have experienced the Magic School Bus books until now。 I love how it's a fictional story AND non-fiction treasure chest of facts all in one entertaining read。 Perfect for those starting to read chapter books that gravitate towards non-fiction。 Somehow I never have experienced the Magic School Bus books until now。 I love how it's a fictional story AND non-fiction treasure chest of facts all in one entertaining read。 Perfect for those starting to read chapter books that gravitate towards non-fiction。 。。。more

I enjoyed this book because I like bones。 I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when some creepy skeleton bones that glowed green appeared and disappeared。 They were workers at a bone place。

In this book, Ms。 Frizzle's class was looking for the missing bones from their costumes。 There were some scary skeletons that were dancing around them! That was my favorite part of the book。 I didn't have a least favorite part of the book。 It was fun to read it。 In this book, Ms。 Frizzle's class was looking for the missing bones from their costumes。 There were some scary skeletons that were dancing around them! My eight-year-old has loved The Magic School bus ever since she was four。 She checked this library book out, and wanted me to read it after her。 I have to admit, it was pretty good, and probably one of the more interesting Magic School Bus stories, centered around bones and Halloween。 So, it was perfect for her to read at this time of year。 Of course, it does not have the beautiful, interesting illustrations of the Magic School Bus picture books, but the story makes up for it。 She says, "It was My eight-year-old has loved The Magic School bus ever since she was four。 She checked this library book out, and wanted me to read it after her。 I have to admit, it was pretty good, and probably one of the more interesting Magic School Bus stories, centered around bones and Halloween。 So, it was perfect for her to read at this time of year。 Of course, it does not have the beautiful, interesting illustrations of the Magic School Bus picture books, but the story makes up for it。 She says, "It was very fun to read it, and it has a mystery in it。" 。。。more

1。 The Magic School Bus #22。 10/25 = 40 minutes, 10/26 = 50 minutes3。 terrific teacher, science, Halloween, The Magic School Jet, Skelton, costume company, missing bones4a。 Ms。 Frizzle had gotten a costume for herself and a special lizard skeleton suit for Liz。4b。 I wish my science teacher taught me about bones like this!5。 There are a little bit difficult words for bones' name, but there are many good illustrations, so I could understand。 1。 The Magic School Bus #22。 10/25 = 40 minutes, 10/26 = 50 minutes3。 terrific teacher, science, Halloween, The Magic School Jet, Skelton, costume company, missing bones4a。 Ms。 Frizzle had gotten a costume for herself and a special lizard skeleton suit for Liz。4b。 I wish my science teacher taught me about bones like this!5。 There are a little bit difficult words for bones' name, but there are many good illustrations, so I could understand。 。。。more

I do really like the Magical School Bus chapter books because they are educational in a way that isn't boring。 The writing, of course, isn't amazing or anything, but the illustrations and education are worth it! An easy chapter book for kids to read about science。 I grew up watching and reading The Magic School Bus series and still love them! Makes the children think an question throughout the book and infer about what is happening。

This is a great book for fifth graders especially since it is a chapter book。 It is non- fiction。 It is a great book to talk about the names of each type of bone in our bodies。
