This is the kid-sized portion of Stephen Covey's seven habits。 My kids love it, I find it a great guidepost book to check out every now and again。 It reminds them of what they've learned both at school through "Leader in Me," and (hopefully) at home from their somewhat-effective parents! :) I've found it to be a great resource for teaching some of the important stuff at home! I learned that it's not always good to only read books - it's good for you to exercise and have peace。 I learned that it's not always good to only read books - it's good for you to exercise and have peace。 。。。more

My kiddos enjoy this book and refer to it often。 A couple of the stories don't illustrate the points in the way that I necessarily think would bw most effective for the age group - but it is a good jumping off point to start implementing the 7Habits with kiddos。 My kiddos enjoy this book and refer to it often。 A couple of the stories don't illustrate the points in the way that I necessarily think would bw most effective for the age group - but it is a good jumping off point to start implementing the 7Habits with kiddos。 。。。more

This was not at all what I thought it was going to be but still overall a good message。 I can see why it works for kids。 A very quick read with the kids。

My wife and I are big fans of this book so much so that we wrote a review of it on our blog。 We started reading the book to our son Zaviar when he was only 3。 He's a big fan of Jumper and Goob。 What I like about the book is how each character has a different personality and yet Zaviar can relate to each one of them。https://raisingboyswithlove。com/blog/。。。 My wife and I are big fans of this book so much so that we wrote a review of it on our blog。 We started reading the book to our son Zaviar when he was only 3。 He's a big fan of Jumper and Goob。 What I like about the book is how each character has a different personality and yet Zaviar can relate to each one of them。https://raisingboyswithlove。com/blog/。。。 。。。more

Zajímavá adaptace Coveyho 7 návyků (autorův otec)。 Šli jsme do toho s dcerou (3) a po prvním přečtení si to chce přečíst znovu, takže ty příběhy tak špatné nebudou (nicméně mně to jako vrchol literatury pro děti rozhodně nepřijde)。 Uvidíme, jestli si z nich zapamatuje i tu morální dimenzi。

The kids loved the stories and they have given me a common language to talk about these habits with them。 I would highly recommend this for kids 5+ and older, and think this makes a wonderful gift。

Genre: InformationalGrade Range: Middle Grades (4-6)I liked that this book taught very important lessons, but it made them very fun。 The one thing I didn't like was that it never specifically said what the lesson was。 I almost classified the genre as Modern Fantasy, but decided not to because the main object of the story is teaching the lessons。 Genre: InformationalGrade Range: Middle Grades (4-6)I liked that this book taught very important lessons, but it made them very fun。 The one thing I didn't like was that it never specifically said what the lesson was。 I almost classified the genre as Modern Fantasy, but decided not to because the main object of the story is teaching the lessons。 。。。more

I read it to my daughter since she was 3 years old and it does help in encouraging positive skills encountering growing difficulties through developing independence and encouraging problem solving in simple story telling manner。

Was this just a shameless short read to catch up on my reading challenge? Most definitely? Was I the target audience for this book? Most definitely not, so I’ll hold off leaving a star rating。

Valuable lessons that children can understand and relate to。 Loved the 'parent corner' at the end of each story with discussion questions and suggestions for how kids can practice building good habits。 My 7yo already started practicing habit #1。And now I want to read Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens for my 11yo and read Stephen Covey's (Sean's dad), The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families Valuable lessons that children can understand and relate to。 Loved the 'parent corner' at the end of each story with discussion questions and suggestions for how kids can practice building good habits。 My 7yo already started practicing habit #1。And now I want to read Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens for my 11yo and read Stephen Covey's (Sean's dad), The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families 。。。more

We listened to this on Sunday, to church and back。 There are 7 short stories about these different animals and they all tell a simple story about one of the 7 habits。 Jane & Isaac enjoyed all of them and seemed to pick out the overall message on each。 I think we could dig a little deeper into each habit in the future。

The school I'm at this year uses the 7 Habits and the Leader in Me program。 I listened to this to get some idea of some of the stories used。 The school I'm at this year uses the 7 Habits and the Leader in Me program。 I listened to this to get some idea of some of the stories used。 。。。more

Love all the habits that this book stands for, so I’m passing this along to my sister-in-law so she can try this with my nephews。 We’ll see how it goes!
