**I know you don’t want to talk sometimes。 Sometimes because it hurts and sometimes because you’re just not supposed to talk about what you want to talk about。 Sometimes it can be hard to say， “this is beautiful，” when no one else can see what you see。 Or， “Here， this is where the pain is。”
But some part of you knows， the truth about the words you cannot say is that they only hurt until you say them。 They only hurt until the person who needs to hear them， hears them。 Because we are human， and the closest we’ve ever come to showing each other who we really are， and how we love， is with words。
So I’m going to try to say to you here， what I wish you’d say to me too。 Please。
Listen。 We can change things。

Unique。 I read this book in one sitting， and I found it quite reflective。 It just felt like the author was having a conversation with me。 It’s basically one long poem （but not written in a conventional manner）。 I enjoyed this read ✨

I hate rating a poetry book so low， but I just overall didn’t care for it。 It wasn’t for me personally， and it didn’t seem like poetry much to me。 There were some good things in there， but overall it just wasn’t my favorite。

This book。。。 just， WTH？It's not that the poetry is bad， but the layout was absolutely infuriating！Let's us count the ways。1。 A lot of poetry books lately have a few pages of pictures。 This one had almost 30。2。 Pages 212-214 blank。 ？？？3。 At least 20 pages have a SINGLE word。 One。 And all of them are either: how， why， here， listen， & remember。 （6 of 10 straight pages is "how" Are you serious？4。 Several poems take up multiple pages for no reason。 Just a paragraph or two one one， and the same on ano This book。。。 just， WTH？It's not that the poetry is bad， but the layout was absolutely infuriating！Let's us count the ways。1。 A lot of poetry books lately have a few pages of pictures。 This one had almost 30。2。 Pages 212-214 blank。 ？？？3。 At least 20 pages have a SINGLE word。 One。 And all of them are either: how， why， here， listen， & remember。 （6 of 10 straight pages is "how" Are you serious？4。 Several poems take up multiple pages for no reason。 Just a paragraph or two one one， and the same on another。 I totally get wanting to control the pace but this was ridiculous。5。 There are MANY poems with a few words （even a bunch with only PARTIAL words） in different colors。。。 This seems like it was done just for the hell of it。I feel like he did all this to， again， control the pace， and to make them more impactful。。。 But honestly it did the opposite。 It made them feel incomplete and like he was just trying to give the illusion of more content。 This book could have been about 75 pages shorter。。。 and it would have been better！！ 。。。more

I enjoyed this poetry book a lot。 It's sort of like mixing self-help and poetry together to get a beautiful product。 Several of the poems struck an emotional chord in my heart， and I annoted it A TON！ I highly reccomend if you're feeling lost or want a read to keep you grounded。 It's also a great intro to poetry， if you're looking for a modern collection :） I enjoyed this poetry book a lot。 It's sort of like mixing self-help and poetry together to get a beautiful product。 Several of the poems struck an emotional chord in my heart， and I annoted it A TON！ I highly reccomend if you're feeling lost or want a read to keep you grounded。 It's also a great intro to poetry， if you're looking for a modern collection :） 。。。more
