Todos fueron mostrando sus cartas en preparación para la batalla final que habría de venir en un futuro。 Se les va dando espacio a cada uno de los personajes para que comprendamos sus motivaciones， y eso es algo que Shingeki no Kyojin siempre hace bastante bien。 Gane más en una lectura seguida que en una lectura de mes a mes。

Un tomo de transición que nos prepara para lo que tiene que venir。 La alianza no puede evitar las rencillas por todo lo que ha ocurrido en el pasado， pero deben aprender a colaborar si quieren detener el exterminio。 Ha habido algún que otro momento interesante， sobre todo en las páginas finales， pero no me ha emocionado tanto como esperaba。 Como digo es una transición que prepara el terreno para la lucha final。

I haven’t read manga in years， and only picked up where the anime left off just in time for the final chapter’s release。 I’ve missed reading manga！ This story is phenomenal。 There are so many important moral questions posed， and it was a joy （and a lot of the time awfully sad lol） to be immersed within the deeply moving storylines and witness the outstanding character development。 What I have always loved about fantasy/ dystopian stories is their ability to give us a release from our reality whi I haven’t read manga in years， and only picked up where the anime left off just in time for the final chapter’s release。 I’ve missed reading manga！ This story is phenomenal。 There are so many important moral questions posed， and it was a joy （and a lot of the time awfully sad lol） to be immersed within the deeply moving storylines and witness the outstanding character development。 What I have always loved about fantasy/ dystopian stories is their ability to give us a release from our reality while simultaneously providing us a different framework to understand it， through the form of relatable characters and plot points within a dissimilar setting。 AOT/ SNK did this beautifully。 One aspect I really appreciated is how this series touched upon the dangers and power of nationhood。 How some people can be quick to diminish the humanity of others on the basis of their identity （like their nation of origin）， and use that mindset to justify war， killing， colonization， and more atrocities。 The story also touches on the horrors of occupation and the cycles of violence that can exist between global （and local） powers。 Amidst all of that， it follows the lives of individuals from multiple ”sides” of the conflicts to explore ideas of personal accountability， justice， shame， sacrifice， love， and more。 I really loved that no one character was “good” or “bad。” People had their own motivations for doing certain things， and not everyone had the same degree of agency。 When I first started the anime， I thought it was classic “humans v the monsters” and then the script just flips， over and over again。 Just so good ugh （I read 6 volumes， but am just including this one as part of my challenge） 。。。more
