Summary

The fantastical two-volume light novel series that blends combat and reincarnation drama!

When the monstrous Jave attacked, mankind’s strongest warrior died defending humanity—and was reincarnated as a baby。 Now, thirteen years later, the Jave have returned! Enrolling in an academy that trains people to use the magic-powered battlesuits known as Division Maneuver, Okegawa Kuon can only operate Division 1, the weakest—until the opportunity to pilot a special, one-of-a-kind suit appears, one that can be activated even with rock-bottom levels of magical power!

Overall the world building was good but it was heavy on the tropes and anime style stunts。 I really enjoyed the battles, but it could have used a little more magic/concept building and a little less on the fan service。

Pretty standard isekai light novel troupe, I would say。 I find it was an okay read, nothing spectacular。

AmazingI love the tension the passion and the build up of love。 I can’t wait for the next book!! I love it!

More interesting than similar battle school books due to particularly good fan service in the romance department。 Yes, MCs powers and sudden abilities are entirely unrealistic, but that's to be expected。 More interesting than similar battle school books due to particularly good fan service in the romance department。 Yes, MCs powers and sudden abilities are entirely unrealistic, but that's to be expected。 。。。more

Take every major cliche about teens fighting sci-fi alien invades and cram them in a book while making every character bland and you'll have Division Manuever。 No idea why this was even picked to be published honestly, even the translation felt lazy with gems like 'he shot the beam of light at the enemy, which travelled at the speed of light'。 A solid no from me, you can spend your time better with other similar enough works such as The Asterisk War etc。 Take every major cliche about teens fighting sci-fi alien invades and cram them in a book while making every character bland and you'll have Division Manuever。 No idea why this was even picked to be published honestly, even the translation felt lazy with gems like 'he shot the beam of light at the enemy, which travelled at the speed of light'。 A solid no from me, you can spend your time better with other similar enough works such as The Asterisk War etc。 。。。more
