The kind of book I enjoyed once it was over。 Reading it was a bit droning and there was some crucial story building and character developing time that was sacrificed for many unnecessary scenes of Harry being annoyed or feeling certain things。 I applaud the inner dialogue presented in the book。 Rowling did this well as much as I hate to admit it。

This series was in its highest while I was in high school and I never made it past book 4。 I was very glad to make it through book 5 of the series because it is by far my favorite so far！ Professor Mcgonngal was my favorite before this and is definitely my favorite still！ And Neville is so much stronger than he was portrayed in the movies。 I love it！

The fifth book in the Harry Potter series， the Order of the Phoenix is the longest in the series and always takes me a while to get through。 Some of my favorite parts include the formation of Dumbledore's Army and the close bond formed between those students， the beginning of Ron's journey as a Quidditch player， Fred and George's exit from Hogwarts （iconic！！）， and a lot of growth in Neville Longbottom's story arc。 We also find out a little bit more about Snape's past， setting up the huge plot tw The fifth book in the Harry Potter series， the Order of the Phoenix is the longest in the series and always takes me a while to get through。 Some of my favorite parts include the formation of Dumbledore's Army and the close bond formed between those students， the beginning of Ron's journey as a Quidditch player， Fred and George's exit from Hogwarts （iconic！！）， and a lot of growth in Neville Longbottom's story arc。 We also find out a little bit more about Snape's past， setting up the huge plot twist in the end。 I absolutely hate Umbridge's character （who doesn't？？） which makes this one of my least-favorite Harry Potter stories to read， and I also don't like the way Dumbledore treats Harry or the way Harry treats his friends in this book， whether or not each of their behavior is justified。 The ending of this book is the worst for me， because it deals with the death of one of my favorite characters in the series， and I've always thought it was entirely unnecessary and J。K。 Rowling could have just let him live！！ If I ever had the chance to ask her one question about the series， it would be that - why did she have to kill off Sirius？？ 。。。more
