En general me pareció un libro bastante interesante y bonito， pero en cierta parte de la historia se pierde el hilo y el final viene demasiado rápido; tal vez un poco más de desarrollo hubiera sido bueno。

I loved this！ So much happening， and there were literally no useless （main） characters or storylines！ I loved the way they cast spells in this。 That they’re a phrase or saying， and put into magic to make things happen。 My favorite character is probably Baz。 I love his brooding personality， and how he knows who he is and doesn’t run from it。

3。5 stars This is the first Rainbow Rowell I ever picked up and for the record I never got into Harry Potter， so my rating is truly on this book standing alone。 I really enjoyed the magical world and the way the characters related。 My only complaint is I didn’t love that we never really get to know the mage from his point of view。 Also， I don’t really love how books that are part of a series have weird wrap ups， as was the case with this one。 But I liked it enough to read the next one！

Harry Potter always has a most special place in my heart， and I have liked HP fanfiction as well。 This fanfiction is well written though unnecessarily long， Baz is a very interesting character though all other characters are flat/boring/directly lifeted from original HP， plot is almost nil， the romance is not to my taste， some dialogues are witty but most of it is just plain nothing。 If you REALLY must read HP fanfic， give it a try。。。。otherwise best stay away。

No matter what small issues I have with this book， it will never stop being one of my favorites！ For a story that was only planned as a stand-alone， it’s worldbuilding is incredible， the characters are all complex and worthy of their place in the book， and even though it’s got a pretty great ending， I’m sure Wayward Son will give us more than enough to carry this book into an amazing trilogy！

This book was really fun to read。 It has every element of a good and enjoyable book。 I read it in the month when I thought I would be reading several lgbt books to support the recently published lgbt books。 Among them， I felt this book had quality writing and fun。

I enjoyed this book overall。 The similarities to Harry Potter got pretty overwhelming， especially in the first couple of chapters。 I also didn’t enjoy their magic “language。” It felt lazy and like the author was trying too hard to be quirky。 I liked the growth of Simon throughout the book and that it didn’t end in a way where everything’s fine and wrapped up in a nice bow。
