This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Now I realize that I completely forgot what happened in this book because all I remember is the movie。 Of course， I could not expect the movie to adapt almost everything from the book given that there were a lot of parts of Divergent that was excluded or changed in the movie。 But I know that if I had read the book first and then seen the movie， the latter would have disappointed me even though the ending was more appealing （congratulations to whoever suggested that idea）。 But I guess I liked the Now I realize that I completely forgot what happened in this book because all I remember is the movie。 Of course， I could not expect the movie to adapt almost everything from the book given that there were a lot of parts of Divergent that was excluded or changed in the movie。 But I know that if I had read the book first and then seen the movie， the latter would have disappointed me even though the ending was more appealing （congratulations to whoever suggested that idea）。 But I guess I liked the book better too because it showed more about trust and challenges between war。 Even though it was always Jeanine who was the 'antagonist' of the story， we see other people going against （or not relying） on Evelyn as well。 In this book， I also appreciated how Tris and Four's relationship got rocky， what with Evelyn as his mom and Marcus-- an important person too-- as his dad。 It showed personal conflict that made Tris see things carefully。 。。。more

This was such a good sequel。 The portrayal of tris’ ptsd and her suffering was so surreal and brilliantly described that you felt her pain。 Down to her actions， her thoughts and her personality change。 It was devestating。 The mystery of whose side people are on， all the way to the last pages。 I love this series。 Can’t wait to read the final book， although I’ve seen a spoiler and I know it will be heartbroken by the end of it
