So it might not be the perfect book for an adult to read, and may at times seem like a book full of rhyme or tongue twisters, but really it is a pretty good book for a limited vocabulary and only stumbles a few times therein。 The weakest pages are near the end in my opinion。 I have fond memories of reading it growing up, and our kid seems to enjoy it now!

Aislinn Hogan

This was a fun book, I read it as one of my banned books and thought that was interesting。 I do not think it promotes violence and is fun for younger audiances。

Evelyn Ruiz

This is a really easy read, I would recommend it for beginning readers or parents just reading to their toddlers at home。

Kassidy Crossley

I love the rhyming within this book! Even though this book was banned, this book will always have a special place in my heart。

I must introduce this book to my future kid, if I have one of course。 I think it's good for them to learn English。 I must introduce this book to my future kid, if I have one of course。 I think it's good for them to learn English。 。。。more

Banned book, Illustrations are seen as racist, would not use in classroom。

Kristelle

This was one of my favorite Dr。Suess books when I was younger。 Surprised to learn that it is a very common banned book, because the title suggests to hop on dads。 Even though the title states this, the majority of the book has nothing to do with hopping on parents, the title is only stated once throughout the entire book。

I LOVE hop on pop

I think this book is good for teaching kids about rhyming。 It is an okay book, there is not a lot of substance too it so kids will probably not learn a lot about life through this book。

This is a great book for children who are beginning to read and for children learning about rhyming。

I think this book is in early primary grades and is a poetry book。 Such a cute book! I am such a daddy's girl personally so I think this book was very relatable。 I think this book will draw students closer and get them thinking about what their dad means to them。 I think this book is in early primary grades and is a poetry book。 Such a cute book! "Hop On Pop" is one of my favorite Dr。 Seuss books! So funny! It was a blast from the past reading it again as an adult。 The last page is pretty cute and I loved the last message in the yellow box。 "Hop On Pop" is one of my favorite Dr。 Seuss books! So funny! One of my childhood favorites, and became one of our son's childhood favorites, too。 Also, it led to many unsuspecting attacks on my dad, and, as it turns out, many by my son on me! Hah! Good rhyming book。

I’m not sure why this is such a classic, it’s really not very good at all。 I’m giving it 2 because I liked the illustrations。 My son is too young to help me rate the book so I’m going off my own opinion as a 30 something year old adult。

Lauren Lunt

Fun, easy read for young kids and introduces them to rhymes

As part of teaching my son to read, we are reading the Dr。 Seuss collection together。 He reads the words he knows and I'm helping introduce new words and supporting with the concepts of rhyming and recognizing how words are structured。 This was the first book that we started with after some preliminary consonant-vowel-consonant lessons。 He did really well。 As part of teaching my son to read, we are reading the Dr。 Seuss collection together。 He reads the words he knows and I'm helping introduce new words and supporting with the concepts of rhyming and recognizing how words are structured。 This was the first book that we started with after some preliminary consonant-vowel-consonant lessons。 He did really well。 。。。more

I think this book was good, but there are definitely better Dr。 Seuss books。 This book, I think is good for children who are learning how to put words into sentences and how to pronounce words and obviously to teach kids what words rhyme with each other。 This is personally not one of my favorite Dr。 Suess books。
