Everything from the title of this book to Napoleon Hill's personal background screams scam artist。 He did not ever talk to Andrew Carnegie to the extent he claims, and if you go into this with a skeptical lens, you'll find a lot to pick apart。 That being said, the law of attraction is some real stuff and this book can put you into a nice mindset。 It's also kind of cool to read self help books from almost a century ago。 Everything from the title of this book to Napoleon Hill's personal background screams scam artist。 He did not ever talk to Andrew Carnegie to the extent he claims, and if you go into this with a skeptical lens, you'll find a lot to pick apart。 That being said, the law of attraction is some real stuff and this book can put you into a nice mindset。 It's also kind of cool to read self help books from almost a century ago。 。。。more

Didn't finish it, stopped at page 69。If you like this kind of "stuff" you'll love "The secret" by Rhonda Byrne or "The 5AM Club" by Robin Sharma。According to the author you're no a billionaire cause you aren't wishing it properly, or visualizing it properly。There's a difference between having a positive attitude and perseverance and wishful thinking, or faith。The author actually specifies that you need to have faith, better yet, you need to build faith and "the Universe" will auto-magically alig Didn't finish it, stopped at page 69。If you like this kind of "stuff" you'll love "The secret" by Rhonda Byrne or "The 5AM Club" by Robin Sharma。According to the author you're no a billionaire cause you aren't wishing it properly, or visualizing it properly。There's a difference between having a positive attitude and perseverance and wishful thinking, or faith。The author actually specifies that you need to have faith, better yet, you need to build faith and "the Universe" will auto-magically align with you。Currently, I'm glad I didn't finish it 。。。more

I read this book when lockdown (~2020) was just called in the country。This book gives hope in times of despair by using the examples from 1920 great economic fall to reduced lifestyle back in those days。I have learnt to apply the principles in this book and it did really gave me tangible results - auto suggestion is my favorite take away from this book, there are many such rules which are definitely worth emulating。Cheers I read this book when lockdown (~2020) was just called in the country。This book gives hope in times of despair by using the examples from 1920 great economic fall to reduced lifestyle back in those days。I have learnt to apply the principles in this book and it did really gave me tangible results - auto suggestion is my favorite take away from this book, there are many such rules which are definitely worth emulating。Cheers 。。。more

Clear the concept how to leave the life。

Not withstanding a few outdated concepts (like presence of ether), this is definitely a must read book of this kind。

Great book。 Obviously, has some artifacts of the time it was written, but most of the principles and lessons are widely applicable。 Definitely helped me turn my life in a positive direction at the time。

It’s so dated 😂 it’s so dated I’m crying lol 😂 this is a book for every boomer who says shit about how times were better in their day。 No, Frank, sweetie - it was worse for everyone on earth except you 🤨😝🙄Well that was condescending。。。。 but I imagine this book would just love to condescend down to me and so it deserves it 🥸

Le Marie

absolutely loved this book!

A good book but I guess I have read too many similar books that it wasn’t mind-blowing for me。 Would recommend if the topic of wealth/success was new to the reader because there are some tips about how to change your thought patterns。

Blown away completely。 Gem it is。

Abdala Shuraym

it is a book that gonna make you read more than once in order to grasp or obsorb and have a better understanding of the psychology behind success or failure,

DNF at 38%Not dnf because it was bad, but because I needed to stop because I had to much going。 I hope I come back to this as it is full of good advice and information and inspiration。 With that being said some of it seems a tad ridiculous。 But putting it into practice for the little time I had makes it seem a little less ridiculous。 Oddly inspiring。

First off, I'm not a big self help book guy but I really enjoyed this one。 A lot of good guiding principles and anecdotes, however it shows it's age (My copy was printed over 50 years ago)。 My favorite parts spoke about definitiveness of purpose。 If you don't control your own mind, there is nothing you can control。 The chapter on telepathy was odd, but I understood why he put it in (It doesn't help that the study is from Duke)。 Certainly worth a read through, and will stick in my mind as great g First off, I'm not a big self help book guy but I really enjoyed this one。 A lot of good guiding principles and anecdotes, however it shows it's age (My copy was printed over 50 years ago)。 My favorite parts spoke about definitiveness of purpose。 If you don't control your own mind, there is nothing you can control。 The chapter on telepathy was odd, but I understood why he put it in (It doesn't help that the study is from Duke)。 Certainly worth a read through, and will stick in my mind as great guiding principles to succeed in life。 。。。more

I could see how great this book was in its days, but for nowadays it's wordy and naive。 He does provide some good advices here and there, but you could summarize the whole book in 2 pages probably。 It reminded me of The Science of Getting Rich though。 I don't know which was published first。I was bored while reading, I didn't read it word by word, & it wasn't as good as I expected。 I could see how great this book was in its days, but for nowadays it's wordy and naive。 He does provide some good advices here and there, but you could summarize the whole book in 2 pages probably。 It reminded me of The Science of Getting Rich though。 I don't know which was published first。I was bored while reading, I didn't read it word by word, & it wasn't as good as I expected。 。。。more

I wasn't really impressed by this book。 It's a good enough book but I think it did not speak to me much, perhaps because the focus was money。 It has some great insights and although it's about monetary richness, it's philosophy can be applied throughout。 The book has some real life examples of the concepts it presents。 It gives a step by step sort of guide of how to achieve this wealth and each step flows into the next beautifully。 The style of writing is excellent; it flows well and it makes se I wasn't really impressed by this book。 It's a good enough book but I think it did not speak to me much, perhaps because the focus was money。 It has some great insights and although it's about monetary richness, it's philosophy can be applied throughout。 The book has some real life examples of the concepts it presents。 It gives a step by step sort of guide of how to achieve this wealth and each step flows into the next beautifully。 The style of writing is excellent; it flows well and it makes sense。 The only thing that I felt wasn't explained sufficiently was the use of sex energy for other means other than sex。 I get the sense that it can be done, it's the how part that I did not grasp and I feel to no fault of mine。 I don't think the idea was presented well/thoroughly。 The author also dives into 6 fears that may hinder you from reaching success and provides symptoms and questions to help you determine whether you have one of the fears or not。One thing I really liked was the author's idea of death。 He explains his view by use of the energy theory, which is that energy is never lost, it is simply transformed, and since life is energy, then death must be a transition and nothing to fear。I give the book 4/5 stars and remember, every success story started with a mere idea。 Develop your ideas into more, don't just sit on them, and this is what this book will tell you。 。。。more

I had a hard time finishing this book。 Timeless sure, but it was so outdated I felt it didn’t flow to the point of captivating my attention。

I know why this is a classic that is still relevant today。 Very inspiring with lots of applicable tools。

Ahmad Abutalib

This book is so rich that I had to read an after-reading summary to recap。 I am even thinking of reading it all over again later。On the first glimpse, you think this book is merely about money which later turns out to be of an even broader purpose that is succeeding in professional life, achieving your aspirations, and attracting success。Napoleon Hill, throughout the 16 chapters of the book, projects the formula:Desire + Ideas + Plans + Massive Action = Success

Questo è uno di quei libri che non può mancare dalla propria collezione indipendentemente da quali che siano le proprio aspirazioni。Per l’età che ha questo libro non si può aggiungere nulla che non sia già stato detto: eccezionale!Consigliatissimo!
