4/5 starswow。。 i just felt so seen by the portrayal of daria especially the ugly sides of her personality and her relationship with her mother this book was amazing because of that。 but it could have done without the whole via plotline it felt overdone i hate hot girls fighting 💔

I’ll be honest when I first started reading this book I did not think I was going to like it because Daria the main character came off as such a bitch which is the front that she puts up because of all of her trauma that she’s gone through。 It’s very interesting to see how both Penn and Daria are raised definitely but both of them are so broken and so similar。 Daria is the super rich girl with the perfect parents who have everything she could ever want and yet she feels so unloved that she has t I’ll be honest when I first started reading this book I did not think I was going to like it because Daria the main character came off as such a bitch which is the front that she puts up because of all of her trauma that she’s gone through。 It’s very interesting to see how both Penn and Daria are raised definitely but both of them are so broken and so similar。 Daria is the super rich girl with the perfect parents who have everything she could ever want and yet she feels so unloved that she has to put up this fake persona to be the popular girl just to get some kind of attention。 And Penn is this Hood rat who is a football star in his town and yet his entire life is falling apart because of one mistake that he made as a 14-year-old with Daria and now he’s back and Daria‘s life to hopefully ruin hers even though her life is already in shambles。 It is very much so Lady and the Tramp。 This book was also hard to get into because her writing style was different than what I’m used to and she was a new author so I had to get used to it but after I did I found myself enjoying it。It is a storyline for a romance book that I haven’t read about before which is very refreshing to me because it’s typically the same thing where you have Wonderboy and this perfect girl who get together and it’s perfect and then something from her past comes up but throughout this whole book you keep wondering if they will get their happy ending because they never really become official。 It’s just very much so middle ground sexual tension for them。 They have this huge secret and this huge rivalry between their schools that they can’t fully act on their emotions unless it’s in private or through some heated debate because that is their thing。 But they were many parts of this book that made me swoon especially what Penn said to Daria at times because oh my God and that journal he wrote to her and that each entry is the beginning of each chapter my heart！！！！ And when we finally find out the meaning of why he calls her skull eyes my heart leapt out of my chest！ I did really like this book I do think I will read the rest of the series and more books by her。 I hope they get spicier because in my opinion this book wasn’t as spicy as people make it out to be and that could be because it takes place in high school and there’s a lot more sexual tension and then there is actual sex but I don’t know this just could be one of her more tame books we shall see 。。。more

This book was entertaining kept me on my toes but honestly id rates it a 2 1/2 based on how emotionally attached I was。 I liked the banter but at the end of the day I liked the side characters interactions w/ the main character than the actual main characters。， But I found Penn to be so cute in the prologue。

I thoroughly enjoyed Book One in the All Saints High series。 Bad Boy from the wrong side of the tracks ends up being fostered by one of the Original HotHoles Jaime Fallowhill who unknowingly let the wolf through his daughter Daria's front door。 Loved getting the glimpses of Hunter， Luna， Knight & Vaughn along with the cameo's from the older HotHole generation。 Jamie is such a great dad in this series， especially when it comes to laying down the law to the teenage boy who sets his sights on daddy I thoroughly enjoyed Book One in the All Saints High series。 Bad Boy from the wrong side of the tracks ends up being fostered by one of the Original HotHoles Jaime Fallowhill who unknowingly let the wolf through his daughter Daria's front door。 Loved getting the glimpses of Hunter， Luna， Knight & Vaughn along with the cameo's from the older HotHole generation。 Jamie is such a great dad in this series， especially when it comes to laying down the law to the teenage boy who sets his sights on daddys lil girl。 The audiobook version is amazing！ 。。。more

I was so excited to read this book。 I recently finished the Sinners of Saint series which is about all the parent's romances and was so excited to read about their children。 To be honest， Daria was not what I expected。 Jamie was so sweet and Mel was awesome so I thought their children would awesome as well。 I was so wrong。Daria just got on my nerves。She's a spoiled brat who feels as though nobody loves her。 The romance was okay。 I wasn't head over heels in love with Penn and felt their relations I was so excited to read this book。 I recently finished the Sinners of Saint series which is about all the parent's romances and was so excited to read about their children。 To be honest， Daria was not what I expected。 Jamie was so sweet and Mel was awesome so I thought their children would awesome as well。 I was so wrong。Daria just got on my nerves。She's a spoiled brat who feels as though nobody loves her。 The romance was okay。 I wasn't head over heels in love with Penn and felt their relationship happened to fast。 One moment they hate each other， the next their making put， but saying it won't change anything， and then Penn falls to his knees， begging for her to take him back。 The main villain in the story: Via wasn't that bad。 I understood where she was coming from。 She was physically abused and needed to get away from her life so she left her brother， Penn。 Four years later， she returns。 Turns out Daria， the selfish bully she is， ripped apart Via's acceptance letter to a ballet academy。 This academy was the only way she could escape her life。 And it was taken away from her。 In my point of view， I found that Via was the protagonist and Daria was the antagonist。 Via was mean and cruel and did some things that were plain awful， but at least she had a reason to do it。 Daria bullied her friends and even cost her mother her dream job。 Her mother tries her best and loves her， but Daria just doesn't seem to care。 。。。more
