2 volumes in and I like it, but I’ve no idea what’s it’s actually about yet, I was expecting some sort of explanation in volume 2, but nothing。 Maybe in volume 3?

Looking forward to volume 3As bad as I feel for this girl, the story remains interesting。 Why does she continue to see these things? Why can this new character see some of the creatures, but not all of them? I think I’ll like their “rivalry,” and I can’t wait to meet others who can see the things Miko can。 Hopefully we get more insight into what these things are, and how Miko’s “Sight” factors into things。

The Georgia Book Belle

I don’t like Yuria。 I’d prefer the story stick to Miko and Hana。

I have the English copy and it's so worth it。 Such amazing and fun manga。 And by fun, I mean utterly terryfing。 I feel for the protagonist。 She's doing well。 Would love to get my hands on more。 I have the English copy and it's so worth it。 Such amazing and fun manga。 And by fun, I mean utterly terryfing。 I feel for the protagonist。 She's doing well。 Would love to get my hands on more。 。。。more

An unexpected rival has appeared!Miko is still dealing with ghosts the best way she can。 As those of you who have read the first volume of the series I am sure you are aware of her astonishing ability to not let the grotesque undead spirits that surround her even know she can see them and thus make them (generally) lose interest in her fast。 However when your best friend puts out an aura that drives hosts to her like moths to a flame then there is only so much ignoring you can do so Miko is also An unexpected rival has appeared!Miko is still dealing with ghosts the best way she can。 As those of you who have read the first volume of the series I am sure you are aware of her astonishing ability to not let the grotesque undead spirits that surround her even know she can see them and thus make them (generally) lose interest in her fast。 However when your best friend puts out an aura that drives hosts to her like moths to a flame then there is only so much ignoring you can do so Miko is also quite skilled in the art of covertly warning those around her without letting the ghosts or her targets from knowing why。As for the so called rival poor Miko doesn't even realize the new girl Yuria, who realizes she can see ghost too, is responsible for the departure of the Godmother and decides she can do as good if not better then Miko。。。when it rains it pours sometimes。 Little does little Yuria realize (literally little, she's like a legal loli in this story) that her ability to see ghosts only allows her to see low ranking and less grotesque shades compared to Miko's unfortunate crystal clarity of the worse of the worse so her perceptions of what happens to these lesser ghosts are filtered by her beliefs in Miko making her all the more formidable a rival。Like the last volume this one alternates a bit with short stories but I have a feeling that Miko's ability to see the dead is not just a factor of having a constantly charged ghost magnet friend but rather something bigger yet to come。 After all she has a little help with some of the potentially more dangerous spirits in this book so far after visiting a shrine though I worry about what price Miko will have to pay if the grand spirit (or possibly god) come to collect for services rendered。 I won't mention any details on the stories so you can experience the chills and happy moments for yourself。 I just hope you are not to scared to see the scary finale of this volume as an old face comes back into the story and then we are treated to some nice short stories before getting a little more creepy art。 One thing I can say I am glad about is in the first volume they had the translation notes early on in the volume which threw me off since normally something like that would be reserved for the end of the book and although this one did not have translation notes (that I recall) I would rather they be missing then part way through the story (especially when it happened in the introductory volume of the series。) If you decide to dive into this volume I wish you the best of luck when sleeping so you do not remember the nightmares created so flawlessly in this series。 :) 。。。more

OMG this is soooooo creepy, and also VERY good!Mieruko meets a girl who can also see (some) of the Graboids。 The girl fancies herself a powerful exorcist。 NOT! So yeah。 Hana Big-Boobs seems to really draw the Graboids to her and Mieruko。 I'm also thinking something odd is going on with Mieruko's younger brother, Kyousuke。 Possibly some kind of perverse crush(?) Also, the evil cat man from the park, the one with the red hair, Zen Toono, he appears again, and is going to be a reoccurring character, at least for awhile。 The scary-looking yet VERY kind cat man, the bald one with the scars and ink, he also makes another appearance, and I suspect that he too, will be a reoccurring character。 I have a sneaking suspicion he will be an ally of sorts to Mieruko, likely in regards to the evil cat man。 I really am enjoying this series。 I usually steer clear of horror, as I have severe PTSD and traumatic reoccurring nightmares, but this manga isn't triggering me。 I'm really loving it。 So frikkin creepy, yet also some very funny moments。 This is a rather unusual story, and if you like a bit of the macabre, I highly recommend this。 。。。more

An introduction to a character named Julia who may have the same ability as Miko?(view spoiler)[Notes:- Julia seems annoying to me so far。 I don’t find her misinterpretations of what Miko thinks as funny。- The episodes with Miko’s brother are better。 (hide spoiler)] An introduction to a character named Julia who may have the same ability as Miko?(view spoiler)[Notes:- Julia seems annoying to me so far。 I don’t find her misinterpretations of what Miko thinks as funny。- The episodes with Miko’s brother are better。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

27/10/20I was a bit afraid that this manga was going to lead nowhere and would continuously play on the gimmick that Mieruko just tries to ignore all these yokai -- however, it seems that the plot is (really) slowly coming together and there seem to be (a bit of) character development as well。 Hence, I won't be giving up on this manga :)You can find me onYoutube | Instagram | Twitch | Twitter | Tumblr | Website | The Storygraph 27/10/20I was a bit afraid that this manga was going to lead nowhere and would continuously play on the gimmick that Mieruko just tries to ignore all these yokai -- however, it seems that the plot is (really) slowly coming together and there seem to be (a bit of) character development as well。 Hence, I won't be giving up on this manga :)You can find me onYoutube | Instagram | Twitch | Twitter | Tumblr | Website | The Storygraph 。。。more
