Never finished， so boring and I was sometimes a bit confused。 I liked the first vol but this 。。。 not my cup of tea。 I am a big Harley fan and I did not like at all how she was drawn in this comic。

Друга книжка краще перекладена， ніж перша。 Тут ми дізнаємося трохи більше про Аманду Воллер， виникнення таємничого вірусу ， про який йшлося у першій книжці， та створення "Загону самогубців"。 Сюжетні повороти цікавіші ， ніж у першій частині （тобто， вони досі майже однотипні， але їх дещо більше）。 Також у книжці більше Регулюса （який мені суто візуально дуже нагадує Локі）。 Поступово розкривають інших учасників загону （не Гарлі Квінн， Дедшотом та Ель Дьябло єдиними！）。 Також розкривають стосунки заго Друга книжка краще перекладена， ніж перша。 Тут ми дізнаємося трохи більше про Аманду Воллер， виникнення таємничого вірусу ， про який йшлося у першій книжці， та створення "Загону самогубців"。 Сюжетні повороти цікавіші ， ніж у першій частині （тобто， вони досі майже однотипні， але їх дещо більше）。 Також у книжці більше Регулюса （який мені суто візуально дуже нагадує Локі）。 Поступово розкривають інших учасників загону （не Гарлі Квінн， Дедшотом та Ель Дьябло єдиними！）。 Також розкривають стосунки загону з іншими урядовими проєктами。Загалом "Сходження Василіска" мені сподобалося більше， ніж "Копняк у зуби"。 。。。more

2。5？ maybe 2。75？？ rounded up， i guess。 nothing too special with this volume， just like volume one。 the issues feel short， or at least they’re very quick to get through， if they were longer i feel like they would be more enjoyable because readers would get more from the story。 also confusing for me at some times， but i still enjoyed it enough， i guess， just a low rating because it wasn’t anything special。

Surprisingly， I find myself liking Suicide Squad。 There is no one character that I like， per se。 It's the team。 This series is really about what it is to be part of a team。 Practically none of the characters like any of the other characters， but they find themselves helping out a teammate， even when it's not to save their own skin because they need a teammate to cover them。We finally get to see into Amanda Waller's past and learn how （and why） she came up with the idea Task Force X， aka the Suic Surprisingly， I find myself liking Suicide Squad。 There is no one character that I like， per se。 It's the team。 This series is really about what it is to be part of a team。 Practically none of the characters like any of the other characters， but they find themselves helping out a teammate， even when it's not to save their own skin because they need a teammate to cover them。We finally get to see into Amanda Waller's past and learn how （and why） she came up with the idea Task Force X， aka the Suicide Squad。 It might be that she didn't use to be horrible， that it was the government that made her the way she is。 It doesn't mean I like her any better， or agree with any of her methods。 We do know why she does what she does now， and we know that her superior， who is a literal man of shadows （well， in a comic book setting I could mean he were made out of shadows， but I just mean he is always shown in shadow）， fully supports Waller and her methods and has from the very beginning。 。。。more

Terrible。 Basilisk has no impact as a terrorist organization， Regulus is awful and makes no sense， and just about everything that happens happens because the plot dictates it， not the story。 The first collection was fun， if kind of dumb; this was just garbage， start to finish。

The Suicide Squad takes on Basilisk， a terrorist organization。 This version has Deadshot， Harley-Quinn， El Diablo， Black Spider， and some other random D-listers。 They not only have to fight Basilisk， but they also need to ferret out a mole in the Squad。That's the gist of the plot。The story is decent， the artwork good and the team works well。 I am not a fan of the young Halley-Berry look for Amanda Waller。 It's rather stupid。 A lot of the story revolves around Waller and her beef with Regulus。 I The Suicide Squad takes on Basilisk， a terrorist organization。 This version has Deadshot， Harley-Quinn， El Diablo， Black Spider， and some other random D-listers。 They not only have to fight Basilisk， but they also need to ferret out a mole in the Squad。That's the gist of the plot。The story is decent， the artwork good and the team works well。 I am not a fan of the young Halley-Berry look for Amanda Waller。 It's rather stupid。 A lot of the story revolves around Waller and her beef with Regulus。 I just don't like this version of Waller。 I prefer the vicious， intelligent battle-axe version。 Not this sexy， mary-Sue badass。Still that minor irritation aside， this is a good Suicide Squad story。 Are there better？ Of course。 But this will do for a three star Squad entry。 。。。more

Suicide squad continues to be entertaining， but this one doesn't feel as "oh snap anyone could die" as the last volume did。 We have Deadshot lead a mission to retrieve a dead body。 Of course nothing is as it seems and the person comes back to life。 This storyline is kind of boring if I'm being honest and nothing special happens。 The 2nd part of this book has the characters stranded on a island without any communication to waller。 Not only that but Waller has to deal with her own personal issues Suicide squad continues to be entertaining， but this one doesn't feel as "oh snap anyone could die" as the last volume did。 We have Deadshot lead a mission to retrieve a dead body。 Of course nothing is as it seems and the person comes back to life。 This storyline is kind of boring if I'm being honest and nothing special happens。 The 2nd part of this book has the characters stranded on a island without any communication to waller。 Not only that but Waller has to deal with her own personal issues and attackers。 The 2nd half boost this series into a more entertaining area。 The art stays pretty solid throughout and the 2nd half is much more fun。 So for that alone it gets into the good area。 A 2。5 out of 5， but I'll boost it to a 3。 。。。more

The Squad fights cultists and each other in this second volume that involves a crossover with Ressurrection Man that shows very little editorial coordination， which was a major complaint of mine all through the New 52。As far as the story goes， we get a little more background on Fake Waller （sorry， Amanda isn't supposed to look like Halle Berry in her prime）， Harley changes personalities， and we see that the team is buried in secrets--and that's the problem。 You can't keep track of the deceptions The Squad fights cultists and each other in this second volume that involves a crossover with Ressurrection Man that shows very little editorial coordination， which was a major complaint of mine all through the New 52。As far as the story goes， we get a little more background on Fake Waller （sorry， Amanda isn't supposed to look like Halle Berry in her prime）， Harley changes personalities， and we see that the team is buried in secrets--and that's the problem。 You can't keep track of the deceptions without a scorecard。 Glass goes to that well one too many times。 It gets repetitive。A ton of artists work on this again， and it makes for visual whiplash at times。 A lot of the panel work is too on top of each other， trying to pack as much in as possible to make up for the lackluster plotting。I'm probably up for one more volume， but that's only because I really like Deadshot as a character and I'm curious how the Harley thing plays out。 But these are library reads only。 Wouldn't pay for them。 。。。more
