Читаючи "Загін самогубців" я зрозуміла для себе дві речі: 1） комікси Marvel і Dark Horse мені подобаються більше， ніж DC;2） мене менше дратують примітивні сюжети на екрані， ніж у книжках。Щодо першого， то все досить просто: комікси Marvel i Dark Horse мені подобаються більше суто візуально。 Щодо другого， то все ще простіше， але трохи багатослівніше。 На "Загін самогубців" я ходила в кіно。 Тоді добре розуміла， що йду розважитися з попкорном （насправді без попкорну， бо він а） канцерогенний， б） мені Читаючи "Загін самогубців" я зрозуміла для себе дві речі: 1） комікси Marvel і Dark Horse мені подобаються більше， ніж DC;2） мене менше дратують примітивні сюжети на екрані， ніж у книжках。Щодо першого， то все досить просто: комікси Marvel i Dark Horse мені подобаються більше суто візуально。 Щодо другого， то все ще простіше， але трохи багатослівніше。 На "Загін самогубців" я ходила в кіно。 Тоді добре розуміла， що йду розважитися з попкорном （насправді без попкорну， бо він а） канцерогенний， б） мені не подобається）。 І однак була дещо。。。 розчарована。 Тож перед читанням "Загону самогубців" я ще трохи знизила планку очікувань。。。 але комікс мене однак засмутив。 Сюжетні повороти дуже прості。 Наприкінці використано старий і вже набридлий сюжетний хід: "Джокер помер。 Хай живе Джокер！" （дракон помер — нехай живе дракон; король помер — нехай живе король etc）。 Говорять про це дуже прямо， але зовсім （графічно） непереконливо /я б написала точніше， але ж спойлери/。Крім того у самому тексті не все бездоганно。 Окрім кальок， навали займенників （таке часто трапляється у перекладах з англійської）， у першій і другій частині "Полювання на Гарлі Квін" є невідредаговані помилки （"Твій спосіб конролю — прикинуТСя божевільним"， "Офішере Кеш， це не знадобІИться"， "Я хочу， ЩО ви повернули її до в'язниці"; у книжці прізвище Гарлі написане то з однією， то з двома літерами "н" наприкінці: Квін і Квінн）。 Тож не назвала б переклад дуже вдалим。Плюси: видана книжка добре （тверда палітурка， якісний папір）。 Розважити вона може。 Але очікувати від неї чогось надзвичайного не варто。 。。。more

3 stars。 suicide squad wasn’t anything special， but it wasn’t super bad。 the characters are nice， besides king shark who personally grosses me out too much for liking， and i like harley in this。 she’s cute and determined， and so far i like her more than her new 52 solo series。

I will admit I was never a big， small or a fan of Suicide Squad in general before the animated movie of 2014 called batman assault on arkham or before the new 52 comics of these characters even though I usually and mostly prefer and love other heroes， anti heroes， anti villains and villains and teams than the Suicide Squad such as the justice league or the justice league dark aka paradox brotherhood or even young justice and teen Titans or the justice society from dc universe and comics in gener I will admit I was never a big， small or a fan of Suicide Squad in general before the animated movie of 2014 called batman assault on arkham or before the new 52 comics of these characters even though I usually and mostly prefer and love other heroes， anti heroes， anti villains and villains and teams than the Suicide Squad such as the justice league or the justice league dark aka paradox brotherhood or even young justice and teen Titans or the justice society from dc universe and comics in general but still I love this animated movie and version of the Suicide Squad。 I am not a big fan of the Suicide Squad movie with will Smith and margot robie but I still like the movie even with its big and many flaws though I prefer the new 52 Suicide Squad such as this volume graphic novel and the rest of the volumes of this graphic novel series of Suicide Squad in the new 52 universe aka the ultimate universe of dc comics and dc universe！！！！ My favourite Suicide Squad members are always Deadshot and Harley Quinn， Katana， Silver Banshee， Knockout and Copperhead even Talon and The Riddler！！！！ I like very very much this story and most of the characters， the action， the themes， the minimal humour， the artworks and the art style！！！！ Very good and interesting entertaining story and characters overall but my favourite version and story will be always will be the animated movie of 2014 called batman assault on arkham with Suicide Squad as the main protagonists front and center！！！！ Deadshot and Harley in assault on arkham are my all time best and favourite versions and designs of these 2 characters ever！！！！ 。。。more

In a pile of mostly just mediocre titles in the New 52 initiative， "Suicide Squad" is fairly entertaining。 These days， nearly everyone is familiar with the story of the Suicide Squad--a collection of villains who are working for the government， going on special missions to foil some other bad guy plot or another。 To ensure their cooperation， a tiny bomb has been implanted into the neck of each operative， remotely controlled by Amanda Waller， the woman giving them their missions。This is all ridic In a pile of mostly just mediocre titles in the New 52 initiative， "Suicide Squad" is fairly entertaining。 These days， nearly everyone is familiar with the story of the Suicide Squad--a collection of villains who are working for the government， going on special missions to foil some other bad guy plot or another。 To ensure their cooperation， a tiny bomb has been implanted into the neck of each operative， remotely controlled by Amanda Waller， the woman giving them their missions。This is all ridiculous， of course。 But the comics traffic routinely in ridiculous and Suicide Squad probably doesn't go any further in this regard than other series。As with the other New 52 series， the artwork is gorgeous。 And the writing is surprisingly good。 Harley Quinn is fascinating， as usual， and carries the series。 Deadshot is also reasonably sympathetic and interesting。 The other characters are more or less filler。 All in all， though， this isn't a bad collection of stories。 。。。more

I'll admit it， I'm a weird guy。 I love everything I've read so far in the New 52 （Justice League， Green Lateran Corp， Justice League International Earth 2） So far， I really don't understand the nerd rage the New 52 generated when it was conning out at the tine （I guess people just hate change）。 I'm not a fan of the pre-52 Suicide Squad comics （ I tried to read them but it felt to much like work to keep going） and i thought the movie was alright （really didn't need the Joker to be that big of a I'll admit it， I'm a weird guy。 I love everything I've read so far in the New 52 （Justice League， Green Lateran Corp， Justice League International Earth 2） So far， I really don't understand the nerd rage the New 52 generated when it was conning out at the tine （I guess people just hate change）。 I'm not a fan of the pre-52 Suicide Squad comics （ I tried to read them but it felt to much like work to keep going） and i thought the movie was alright （really didn't need the Joker to be that big of a part）but the comic is a great blend of action and comedy that the movie was trying to emulate。 The book hooked me from the beginning and I read the book in 2 days （more like 1 1/2）。 The members of the Squad are more fleshed out， you get a better understanding of who they are and what brought them to the point to join the squad。 I actually cared about the characters and what happens to them although they are villains， doing the hero thing （sometimes） without caring about civilians or each other。 I was conflicted， especially， when it came to Amanda Waller， the leader of the Squad who is clearly the biggest villain out of all of them。 She's manipulative， cruel and times just plain evil but does all this for the greater good （or what she see as the greater good） but there are times in the story in which you get a peek of her humanity which made me not totally hate her （until I turn the page） This is just a great fun read with lots of action and laughs。 If you're not to tainted by the movie， you'll really enjoy this book。 If you didn't like the movie， read it anyway， I think there's a good chance it'll change your mid。 。。。more
