Summary

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I found it kinda cliche and I saw the ending coming。 I also got really pissed off with how poorly thought thought their plan was。 The only character I liked was Jhonny and the dogs。 I do intend to reread just to see the foreshadowing。 This book could have been great it just kinda。。。 Flopped。

3。5 - I didn’t need to read a near adult saying “mummy” this many times, high intrigue I just didn’t appreciate the pay off very much (specifically why the thing happened, not what the thing was)

Wow。 This book was just wow。 I’m not one to cry at books too much so trust me when I say this book will make you bawl。 I connected with Cady on so many ways, I feel like in one way or another you can find a little bit of yourself in Cady。 She’s a perfect main character, but the side characters just add to form the main character which is exactly how a good book is written, the side characters are used to deepen the main character。 I found the more I thought about the book then more heartbroken I Wow。 This book was just wow。 I’m not one to cry at books too much so trust me when I say this book will make you bawl。 I connected with Cady on so many ways, I feel like in one way or another you can find a little bit of yourself in Cady。 She’s a perfect main character, but the side characters just add to form the main character which is exactly how a good book is written, the side characters are used to deepen the main character。 I found the more I thought about the book then more heartbroken I felt。 I read it over a span of a couple hours。 It was impossible to put down and I now view it very much as a coming of age book in a weird twisted way, under all the heartbreak and sorrow this book holds, the imagery is gorgeous and it is written perfectly。 Not one fault I can think of。 。。。more

I didn’t love the writing style of this book, but the fast-paced read and surprising ending led me to the 4 star rating。 👍🏻

Though I didn't read many novels but even if I'll read more in future this will remain close to my heart because for the first time i cried during reading。 Start of this book is little bit all over the places but the way story goes is amazing。 I personally like the ending which i don't want to share much about。 It's basically a story of privileged high society children and their parents and their struggle for getting inheritance。 But some events happen which changed their life forever。 Though I didn't read many novels but even if I'll read more in future this will remain close to my heart because for the first time i cried during reading。 Start of this book is little bit all over the places but the way story goes is amazing。 I personally like the ending which i don't want to share much about。 It's basically a story of privileged high society children and their parents and their struggle for getting inheritance。 But some events happen which changed their life forever。 。。。more

Quick read, I enjoyed it other than the fact that the plot twist was very predictable contrary to popular belief

Madhu

wasn’t too bad but wouldn’t say it’s worth reading。

the only reason i kept reading was because i wanted to know what happened to cady, but if i wanted to read a book about rich people sitting around and chatting, i wouldn’t have。

A good book, however i found that the ending wasn’t as shocking and as exciting as many other reviews have mentioned because I managed to figure out the ending about half way through the book。 For someone who isn’t aware about the book and what it leads up to and who wouldn’t be subconsciously guessing about the ending, this would be a perfect book。 Another thing I didn’t like too much was the amount of names you had to remember hahaha。 I know it doesn’t sound significant and I suppose it isn’t A good book, however i found that the ending wasn’t as shocking and as exciting as many other reviews have mentioned because I managed to figure out the ending about half way through the book。 For someone who isn’t aware about the book and what it leads up to and who wouldn’t be subconsciously guessing about the ending, this would be a perfect book。 Another thing I didn’t like too much was the amount of names you had to remember hahaha。 I know it doesn’t sound significant and I suppose it isn’t really, but I kept confusing all the characters which made the story unclear at times。 Also I wasn’t the biggest fan of many of the characters at times as I found them to be quite irritating and un-relatable at times Despite my not-100%-positive review, I would recommend as it is a gripping book that has managed to help get me out of my reading rut。 It does have a good storyline that likes to keep you inquisitive throughout the entire book。 Although it wasn’t my personal favourite I can see why people like it so much and I will be recommending to my little sister who I reckon would love it :) 。。。more

Onenof the best psychological book I've read so far!! Though, the narrator is not very likeable。。。(due to the artificiality of her relationship with the Indian boy)。 Onenof the best psychological book I've read so far!! I did enjoy this book , but it was extremely confusing。 I still can’t wrap my head around the ending because it just doesn’t add up。 Also, what’s with the liars? Why are they even called liars? They didn’t get into trouble once!

❗❗❗Disclaimer: I've read this years before, although I don't remember the plot that much but sure do remember that I thoroughly enjoyed it a lot that's why I'm writing this now。 ❗❗❗I think this is one of the first mystery books I've ever gotten my hands into。 And man, was it ever so intense! I like these kind of books, books that will keep you guessing。 So yep, if you're into surprises。 Hop right in! Wow, what a ride! If I am being honest wasn’t a fan of the writing at times, although it was a very quick read (I read one half in one day and the other half another day) I also found the book entertaining and frustrating at the same time simply because I really wanted to know what was happening and no one was telling her and it was simply driving me crazy! The finale was very heartfelt and I have to admit that I teared up a bit。 Do I think the book is overhyped? Yes。 Is it still a good book? Ye Wow, what a ride! Absolutely。Because it is a very overhyped book try to go into it with very low expectations, since that can affect your reading experience。 Nevertheless, give it a try!*********(Spoilers)Anyways, the plot twist。。。 I knew it had to do something with death since they kept foreshadowing it a lot, but wasn’t quite sure what it was exactly。 By the time I was a little over half way part 4 I was able to put all the pieces together of what actually happened。 I wouldn’t call the book predictable, at least the beginning 100 or so pages aren’t(ngl I was a little lost and confused, because I didn’t know what was going on until we got to part 3) Also just want to point out that I didn’t realize it then but after they officially announced the deaths I started thinking。 When Cadence was at the island not once her family mentioned her cousins, I have no idea how I didn’t realize it。 。。。more

I was not expecting that ending。 At all。 Y’all really listened when it told you to lie about the ending。So the plot。 It was a little confusing at times as I couldn’t be sure if they were talking about summer 15 or 17。 It was certainly an interesting and unique approach and I really enjoyed it。 It was annoying at times waiting for cadence to get her memory back but it kept me on the edge of my seat。 The 4。5 for me this book。。 how do I even begin to describe it?? Wow- wasn't expecting that ending。 This book was okay。 The last 20 something pages completely threw me off guard and I was in shock。 I truly had no idea where this book was taking me but I wasn't too disappointed! I really enjoyed the figurative language, though I started to get bored around the middle of the book, soon after that it took off and the plot twist took place- one I actually didn’t expect (surprisingly)。 I won't forget this book。。。 it's haunting。 Though I have a few problems with it Wow- wasn't expecting that ending。 This book was okay。 The last 20 something pages completely threw me off guard and I was in shock。 I truly had no idea where this book was taking me but I wasn't too disappointed! 5 stars yes omg yes I was not expecting to love this book at all。 I was so ready to hate on it。 I loved the writing style, characters (except Muren), and just overall setting。 I didn't cry or anything。 Sure the plot twist is something I've seen before and wasn't new to me but I still very much enjoyed it。 Idk what else to say besides I loved Cadence and this book was great :) 5 stars yes omg yes I was not expecting to love this book at all。 I was so ready to hate on it。 I loved the writing style, characters (except Muren), and just overall setting。 I didn't cry or anything。 Sure the plot twist is something I've seen before and wasn't new to me but I still very much enjoyed it。 Idk what else to say besides I loved Cadence and this book was great :) 。。。more
