tanaka's character is a pretty common one in animanga， but still refreshing。 to have present a paradigm of constant enthusiasm and passion， with purity of spirit， is inspirational in moments where it would seem less embarrassing to give up。tanaka's backstory segues nicely into the nekoma match， where kenma gets to shine。 as one of the only characters who distinctly does not care as much about volleyball as most of the main cast， kenma coming to terms with the ever-elusive concept of willpower is tanaka's character is a pretty common one in animanga， but still refreshing。 to have present a paradigm of constant enthusiasm and passion， with purity of spirit， is inspirational in moments where it would seem less embarrassing to give up。tanaka's backstory segues nicely into the nekoma match， where kenma gets to shine。 as one of the only characters who distinctly does not care as much about volleyball as most of the main cast， kenma coming to terms with the ever-elusive concept of willpower is satisfying。 different personalities focus on different solutions， whether it be breaking apart the problem into tangible steps， or plunging heedless into the depths by sheer effort。 both， of course， are valid， and there is an intersection between the two that kenma appears to find。 。。。more
