It’s hard to say what hasn’t already been said about a book like this， but I’d be remiss if I didn’t echo the sentiments of millions of people who find and have found this to be a piece of irreplaceable literature。 I’m not sure what Austen I’ll read next but I’m excited for whatever it may be。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Ich muss sagen， dass es mir nicht gerade leichtgefallen ist， dieses Buch zu lesen。 Insgesamt habe ich dafür 2 Monate mit einigen Unterbrechungen gebraucht。 Vor allem in den ersten zwei Dritteln hat sich die Geschichte gezogen， wobei ich das letzte Drittel in einer Nacht durchhatte。 Es ist einfach so viel dort auf einmal passiert。Trotzdem muss ich sagen， dass die Geschichte im Großen und Ganzen gelungen ist， nicht zuletzt wegen der Liebesgeschichte zwischen Elizabeth und Mr。 Darcy。

Un clásico de la literatura que tenía pendiente。 No es la mejor historia， pero tiene un yo qué sé， qué sé yo， que engancha。 Lo mejor sin duda para mí es la construcción de los personajes， ya que acabas odiando （mucho） a algunos y amando （mucho） a otros， y casi ninguno te resulta indiferente。

There is just something so satisfying about Jane Austen books and this one is just the most satisfying。 I love Elizabeth。 I love Darcy。 I read a version published in the 1940s so it had a really old feel to it and honestly that just enhanced the experience。

Mrs Bennett is my mom to a T， and how many of us haven’t known a brown-noser like Mr Collins？ I also love how all they did was go for walks， just like my Covid pandemic life （except i have to work too）。The more things change， the more things stay the same！

This book took me longer to finish than I had expected as I was not particularly fond of the writing style。 The main story follows a simple plot that developed naturally and logically while also presenting a view of what life was like in English society back in the 1800s。 The story presents people that you can find in everyday life， as none of them were presented as perfect beings that are free from flaws such as pride， naivety， foolishness and jealously。 The story also teaches us a few importan This book took me longer to finish than I had expected as I was not particularly fond of the writing style。 The main story follows a simple plot that developed naturally and logically while also presenting a view of what life was like in English society back in the 1800s。 The story presents people that you can find in everyday life， as none of them were presented as perfect beings that are free from flaws such as pride， naivety， foolishness and jealously。 The story also teaches us a few important lessons such as the willingness to recognize mistakes and correct them， maintaining a good sense of judgement and putting in the effort to perform our social duties。 Overall， the story was rather lacklustre despite its numerous praises， and I did not derive much enjoyment from reading it as I would have liked to。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 La trama se basa en la familia Bennet， una familia inglesa que está formada por la señora Bennet， el señor Bennet y sus cinco hijas。 Orgullo y Prejuicio sin duda se ha convertido en una de mis novelas favoritas， he disfrutado mucho la lectura， y he podido darme cuenta de que la narración va más allá de una historia de amor。Podemos observar diferentes críticas sociales y cómo funcionaba en la época: cómo se designaban las herencias， cómo y con quién había que casarse， el rol social de la mujer， l La trama se basa en la familia Bennet， una familia inglesa que está formada por la señora Bennet， el señor Bennet y sus cinco hijas。 Orgullo y Prejuicio sin duda se ha convertido en una de mis novelas favoritas， he disfrutado mucho la lectura， y he podido darme cuenta de que la narración va más allá de una historia de amor。Podemos observar diferentes críticas sociales y cómo funcionaba en la época: cómo se designaban las herencias， cómo y con quién había que casarse， el rol social de la mujer， las clases sociales， entre otras cosas。 Jane Austen plasma de una manera bastante hábil el carácter de cada uno de los personajes。 La historia nos permite ver la posición tan poco privilegiada en que se encontraba la mujer， quienes definitivamente eran consideradas inferiores y sin la ventaja ni disposición de recibir una herencia， situación por la cual debían ser presentadas en sociedad con el fin de encontrar un buen partido， prácticamente se dedicaban a la tarea de la búsqueda de un marido de preferencia con gran patrimonio para no terminar en la pobreza。Su concepto de una mujer perfecta Se basa en la belleza física y un conocimiento profundo de música， canto， dibujo， baile y lenguas moderna。 Sin embargo nos muestra a una protagonista （Elizabeth Bennet） quien resulta ser una mujer dotada de un carácter excepcional y muy inteligente， quien sin planearlo consigue imponer su deseo de encontrar el amor más allá de lo establecido por la sociedad。Me gustó como se va desarrollando y la forma en que está escrita la historia， los acontecimientos relacionados al amor， mismo que logra romper con las barreras impuestas por el orgullo y prejuicio de la época。 ❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️ 。。。more

Fue una relectura y no me sorprende que no cambie mi opinión a lo largo del tiempo sobre esta novela， sin embargo si que pude observar detalles de los que no me había percatado antes e incluso la disfruté más。 Es maravillosa y siempre es agradable leer cualquier libro de la autora。
