It's really sad that Yuta had to see his friend die and then unintentionally curse her however Rika always protected him until the end and that was gorgeous because she helped him every time it was needed。 I also loved his friendship with the first-years, especially the one with Toge even though he can't communicate, he was able to help Yuta in his own way It's really sad that Yuta had to see his friend die and then unintentionally curse her however Rika always protected him until the end and that was gorgeous because she helped him every time it was needed。 I also loved his friendship with the first-years, especially the one with Toge even though he can't communicate, he was able to help Yuta in his own way 。。。more

。。。more

I didn’t realize there was a volume 0 until I was almost caught up with the manga。 This is a really interesting volume though! I love seeing what I imagine to be the early art style/character designs。 It was also cool to get more backstory on the second years at the Tokyo branch of Jujutsu Tech。 Plus some more backstory on Geto was nice as well! It does make some things later in the manga a little more tragic, but still a good read!

This is a prequel about the series' second-year students back when they were first years, with a student possessed by a powerful curse monster based off his childhood friend。 It helps informs who the characters are, and why we should care about them, as my current reading of the series (having finished volume 3 but not yet read volume 4) has me seeing them as rather flat。 But after reading this, I'm more invested in the rest of the world- the supporting cast of now-second-years and the antagonis This is a prequel about the series' second-year students back when they were first years, with a student possessed by a powerful curse monster based off his childhood friend。 It helps informs who the characters are, and why we should care about them, as my current reading of the series (having finished volume 3 but not yet read volume 4) has me seeing them as rather flat。 But after reading this, I'm more invested in the rest of the world- the supporting cast of now-second-years and the antagonists。Also, there's some sharp and explosive action。 You get the feeling that these characters aren't our protagonists so Gege Akutami could go all out with making it big and explosive without ruining the progression of the main story。 Sure, there are powerful people like this a year in Jujutsu Kaisen's "past", but by the end of the volume there's some big changes that mean their eventual strength upon the resumption of the main story could be vastly different。 Or maybe they only become relevant again when our protagonists have reached this level? Who knows, but it's a solid story and worth reading after the second or third volume of the series (since that's when it starts referencing characters from this volume)。 。。。more

Since we don't have any new episode of JJK as the season ended last week, I resorted to reading the manga。。。 starting with volume 0。 And the whole time I was reading this, my brain can't stop thinking about how great the animation of the movie adaptation would be。 Since we don't have any new episode of JJK as the season ended last week, I resorted to reading the manga。。。 starting with volume 0。 And the whole time I was reading this, my brain can't stop thinking about how great the animation of the movie adaptation would be。 。。。more

I absolutely loved Yuta's backstory。 His character as a whole is so well written。 Gege Akutami really knows how to write characters, and I guess that's one of the reasons why this series is so lovable。 I love that this volume will get a movie, Yuta deserves all the spotlight。 I absolutely loved Yuta's backstory。 His character as a whole is so well written。 Gege Akutami really knows how to write characters, and I guess that's one of the reasons why this series is so lovable。 I love that this volume will get a movie, Yuta deserves all the spotlight。 。。。more
