This book changed my life! After reading it, I have a different view of the world。 As a “recovering hoarder,” Stephanie gave me realistic tools and strategies to implement in my life。 I also found her extremely relatable。

Stephanie's easy-to-read and accessible approach to sustainability and minimalism make them both amazingly incremental and attainable。 She goes beyond "start with your junk drawer" to declutter and "bring your reusable bags to the grocery store" for eco-friendly living。 Her tips are simple and build on each other。 Start where you are and improve from there。 Every step counts and Stephanie is your biggest cheerleader。 With a positive attitude and the tools to do better, every reader is well on th Stephanie's easy-to-read and accessible approach to sustainability and minimalism make them both amazingly incremental and attainable。 She goes beyond "start with your junk drawer" to declutter and "bring your reusable bags to the grocery store" for eco-friendly living。 Her tips are simple and build on each other。 Start where you are and improve from there。 Every step counts and Stephanie is your biggest cheerleader。 With a positive attitude and the tools to do better, every reader is well on their way to embracing sustainable minimalism for the long term。 。。。more

I have enjoyed Stephanie’s podcast for over a year and was super excited about her book。 Unfortunately, although the information was good, much of it seems familiar if you’ve listened to most of her podcasts, so I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get many new ideas or inspiration from the book。 That being said, if you haven’t listened to the podcast or are new to the idea of sustainability, this book is a great resource and I would definitely recommend that you check it out!

DNFI managed to get to chapter five before deciding this book was not for me。 It's not the most interesting book and the tone is somehow off-putting, not sure why though。This book is probably best for people who have done no previous reading on either minimalism or sustainability。 DNFI managed to get to chapter five before deciding this book was not for me。 It's not the most interesting book and the tone is somehow off-putting, not sure why though。This book is probably best for people who have done no previous reading on either minimalism or sustainability。 。。。more

This book is a fantastic combination of minimalism meets environmentalism。 Stephanie’s no-judgement style helps you ease into your first steps or go deeper if you’re already into your journey。 Very few authors address the minimalist approach to stuff as well as the sustainable way to tackle decluttering and how to reduce our own dependence on consumerism。 It’s an inspiring read with the right amount of climate change doom to put you on the path to doing better, one step and a time。

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book, but towards the end I began to get overwhelmed with the suggestions the author was making to live minimally。 I think the first few chapters has some really good tips on small changes we can all make to live a more sustainably minimalistic life。 If I could, I would give the first part of this book 4 1/2 stars, and the second part of this book 2 stars。

Wow, just wow! This book makes you think! Such an incredible book! Stephanie brings key issues into light - how we can reduce our dependence on items and buying, but in a sustainable way。 I love the way that this book connects many stories from other readers and listeners。 Having the shared experience reminds us that we can all take small actions to benefit the greater good。 This is truly a must read for 2021!
