A surreal masterpiece of experimental prose。 The protagonist is never directly described， only hinted at， and the text contains very little direct description of events， instead it is narrated in the form of imperatives directed at an unknown third party。

Let’s face it， this is never going to be my reading material of choice BUT that doesn’t mean we can’t all do with a refresher sometimes。 There have been a few changes since I passed my driving test twenty *cough* years ago and there was damn sure plenty I’d forgotten so I was well overdue my reread！Not just for people who are studying for their test but important for any driver really， no matter how boring it is to actually read。

Obviously not fun but essentialI ended up getting the app for this boom which was really easy to manoeuvre！ Managed to read the whole book quickly by keeping a steady daily progress of just 10-15 min reading。 Glad to have read it。 Essential and important book for learner drivers。
