Although I couldn't relate because my parents are the best。 My favorite story was the one where the mum loved her dogs more than her husband and dayghter。 Although I couldn't relate because my parents are the best。 My favorite story was the one where the mum loved her dogs more than her husband and dayghter。 。。。more

In my continuing determination to read children's books, there are two reasons why I picked this up:One- David Walliams making another addition to his 'World's Worst' series after Worst Children and Worst Teachers。Two- Tony Ross's illustrations。 In。 Colour。Sure, some parents are embarrassing – but they’re NOTHING on this lot。 These are ten tales of the world’s most spectacularly silly mums and deliriously daft dads。I absolutely love this series even though the characters aren't exactly the type In my continuing determination to read children's books, there are two reasons why I picked this up:One- David Walliams making another addition to his 'World's Worst' series after Worst Children and Worst Teachers。Two- Tony Ross's illustrations。 In。 Colour。Sure, some parents are embarrassing – but they’re NOTHING on this lot。 These are ten tales of the world’s most spectacularly silly mums and deliriously daft dads。I absolutely love this series even though the characters aren't exactly the type to appeal to anyone。As is a feature of the series, each of the books include a letter from someone special。 This has one from the author's mom who very kindly (or not) offers him ideas for his next book。 As part of the acknowledgements, the author also shares anecdotes about all the people involved in it。 I reserve my opinion on whether these are true or fictitious but I do insist they are fascinating to read。Each of the ten stories bring out some of the strongest emotions。 At the same time, they allow you to reflect on yourself and right the wrongs。 If I had to pick my favourite worsts (did I get that right?), I'd choose Miss Tutelage and Harriet Hurry, and maybe Supermum! She is innovative。 You have to give her credit for that。As far as the artwork goes, of course, when you already love Tony Ross's black and white illustrations, these done in vibrant colour are irresistible。Read this to guarantee some amazing laughs。 You will enjoy it by yourself as well as in sharing with the little ones around you。For complete review, visit https://aquamarineflavours。wordpress。。。。Find me on other platforms via https://linktr。ee/AshieJayn 。。。more

I know this is a childrens book but the title caught me and i want to read it before the kids does。 It was a fun book。 David is know for his sense of humour and just like his other books (my kids has great collection of them), this book too is very entertaining。 He’s so creative with words and i so agree that he’s the new roald dahl。

My Favourite would have to be the dog person。 I love how all the dogs are scared of cats! I have two black cats and they are terrified of dogs (well, on is deaf and does t go out much but my youngest cat, Teddy, is scared) 😂😁😛

Helen

My sons loved, though the Dad with the cheesy feet made me want to vomit and I had to have one of the boys read parts of it aloud instead of me!

Jill

Walliams is the new Roahld DahlI found this book hilariously funny also very relatable as I myself had an extremely embarrassing mother who whenever we bumped in to one of my friends in the road would baby talk them and when I got home I would wonder if when I woke up in the morning and had no friends I'd know that it was because of her!!!😀 Walliams is the new Roahld DahlI found this book hilariously funny also very relatable as I myself had an extremely embarrassing mother who whenever we bumped in to one of my friends in the road would baby talk them and when I got home I would wonder if when I woke up in the morning and had no friends I'd know that it was because of her!!!😀 。。。more

Although I bought this with an Audible credit with the intention of listening to it with the kids I actually started listening to it myself without them。 But then it was so good I had share it with the kids so essentially I’ve listened to it twice。 And some stories even three times! The stories are gross (like I almost dry-retched while I was on a walk!), relatable (looking at you Bricko man!) and funny。 Walliams wrangles enough pop culture references to make it relevant and entertaining for adults and enough ridiculousness for it to be really appealing for kids。I know he’s reminiscent of Roald Dahl and that some of the stuff isn’t that original but the production values are outstanding and make for really good car listening on long trips。 *I listened to this on Audible* 。。。more

I can’t stop thinking of it whenever I use cheese on top of my pasta。 The worst disgusting book I’ve read for kids, even worse than Teacher version。 :)

Worlds worst children x 3 , teachers and now parents , my (ten year old ) son and I have read them all 。 All the usual fun , great illustrations , one that makes you want to vomit but this one didn’t quite entertain us as much - not sure if that is because we are reaching the top age range for these books or if you just feel that there is too much if the sameness 。 I do feel David Walliams is now just churning out very similar characters 。 We normally discuss our favourites at the end but not pa Worlds worst children x 3 , teachers and now parents , my (ten year old ) son and I have read them all 。 All the usual fun , great illustrations , one that makes you want to vomit but this one didn’t quite entertain us as much - not sure if that is because we are reaching the top age range for these books or if you just feel that there is too much if the sameness 。 I do feel David Walliams is now just churning out very similar characters 。 We normally discuss our favourites at the end but not particularly attached to any of them 。 。。。more

It is not what it used to be。 Though have to be honest, that first story made me sick while I was eating my breakfast。 I had to pull out my headphones in one moment because I just couldn't listen to it。 I think if I would listen to that 1 minute part I would seriously throw up。 It is not what it used to be。 Though have to be honest, that first story made me sick while I was eating my breakfast。 I had to pull out my headphones in one moment because I just couldn't listen to it。 I think if I would listen to that 1 minute part I would seriously throw up。 。。。more

CoolIt was pretty cool but I was kinda thinking it could maybe be a bit longer。 It could also have a bit more detail in the pictures as they just kinda seem like scribbled and maybe and a bit more photos as words just get quite boring。 ɓựʈ I ƚɵʋɛ ɨʈOther than that, AMAZING I ƚɵʋɛ ɨʈ
