IDW has done a number of these Transformers crossover titles with varying success and I figured this would be more of the same fluff。 However， the decision to craft this mini-series as a series of short stories of different encounters between the Ponies and the Cybetronians actually made a lot more sense versus just bringing in some convoluted plot regarding how they get dragged to Equestria then some effort to defeat a big bad plan that the bad guys cook up。Instead， we got different great spotl IDW has done a number of these Transformers crossover titles with varying success and I figured this would be more of the same fluff。 However， the decision to craft this mini-series as a series of short stories of different encounters between the Ponies and the Cybetronians actually made a lot more sense versus just bringing in some convoluted plot regarding how they get dragged to Equestria then some effort to defeat a big bad plan that the bad guys cook up。Instead， we got different great spotlight stories that kept the focus on the characters instead of a big plot-heavy scenario that certainly focused on having a lot of fun without needing to bring in questions of continuity or what have you。 And even though things were bookended by the needed stories to bring them to Equestria and eventually send them home， it still felt pretty reasonable and easy to understand。 I enjoyed this way more than I had expected to。 。。。more
