En este segundo volumen， la autora hace que Agete cobre más importancia。 Y este ez el motivo de que me haya gustado un poco menos。 Agete es un personaje con la que no consigo conectar。 Su actitud en general no me gusta。 Además， siento que tiene una actitud muy masculinizada y un poco misógina con respecto a las demás aprendices。 Y eso me cabrea un poco。 Creo que es un personaje que podría tener unos estereotipos de empoderamiento más sano。 Por otro lado， la trama me está gustando mucho y el "cos En este segundo volumen， la autora hace que Agete cobre más importancia。 Y este ez el motivo de que me haya gustado un poco menos。 Agete es un personaje con la que no consigo conectar。 Su actitud en general no me gusta。 Además， siento que tiene una actitud muy masculinizada y un poco misógina con respecto a las demás aprendices。 Y eso me cabrea un poco。 Creo que es un personaje que podría tener unos estereotipos de empoderamiento más sano。 Por otro lado， la trama me está gustando mucho y el "costumbrismo" del día a día de los personajes me está encandilando， así como el poder seguir conociendo más rasgos de los personajes。 Por supuesto， cabe destacar los mini apuntes que hay en el libro con enseñanzas sobre el mundo de los magos。 En resumen， quiero seguir leyendo esta historia， pero espero que el personaje de Agete evolucione y， de no ser así， que se quede en un plano más secundario como en el primer volumen。 De esta forma， la historia se me hará más placentera。 Nota final: 7，4:） 。。。more

It's been a while since I've read the first manga， but I was so so happy to see this as an ebook that I could check out at the library。 I surprisingly didn't have a hard time remembering anything that had happened in the previous manga， and was able to quickly get back into the story。I still think the art in Witch Hat is some of the most gorgeous that I've seen in any manga。 The story is fascinating and I can't wait to read the next volume。 It's been a while since I've read the first manga， but I was so so happy to see this as an ebook that I could check out at the library。 I surprisingly didn't have a hard time remembering anything that had happened in the previous manga， and was able to quickly get back into the story。I still think the art in Witch Hat is some of the most gorgeous that I've seen in any manga。 The story is fascinating and I can't wait to read the next volume。 。。。more

The series continues strong in the second volume。 The girls have to work together to get out of the tough spot the last volume left them in， and even though Coco does not have the skill and training， she is the one with the ideas。 There is quite a bit of character development here too， focusing on Agott。 We learn that her drive to excel stems from being put down in her family。 We meet a new dweller of the atelier （it beats me why can’t we call it “cottage”， like every respectable witch does in D The series continues strong in the second volume。 The girls have to work together to get out of the tough spot the last volume left them in， and even though Coco does not have the skill and training， she is the one with the ideas。 There is quite a bit of character development here too， focusing on Agott。 We learn that her drive to excel stems from being put down in her family。 We meet a new dweller of the atelier （it beats me why can’t we call it “cottage”， like every respectable witch does in Discworld）， Olruggio， a surly man who is quite literally a wizard with cloth。 Me thinks this will be important。We also meet the Knights Moralis， who police forbidden magic， and come with angelic faces and shining armor （quite an upgrade on the Ministry of Magic）。 They look more like a fully armored Pallas Athena than men or wizards。 I have gotten used to Mr Quifry looking like a girl， but now I wish he really was a woman because right now we have all male authority figures and four female apprentices。 I think you could just call him Ms Qifry and be done with it， no art change is necessary。。。Seems that cliff-hangers are getting standard。 。。。more

The kindle version of these delightful adventures reads right to left - that took some getting used to！ Do the manga comics go that way， too？ Hats off to the wonderfully talented Kamome Shirahama for her drop-dead gorgeous art！
