”You’re not a slave。 You’re not a god either。 You’re just a human being。” - Eren As if this storyline couldn’t get any more bizarre， Isayama kept throwing in one plot twist after another。 Never expected that causal loop （actually for Attack on Titan expect the unexpected）。 We were also introduced to Ymir’s origin which I have I say， that poor girl got dragged into so much hell。

These last few volumes feel like a completely different story than the one I remember from the initial chapters， and truth to be told， part of me still doesn't know how I feel about it。 We've come a long way from fighting and killing Titans that seemed like the biggest threat and now we are witnessing a political turmoil， as well as internal struggle of characters while they wrestle with their humanity and morality。 Our heroes have grown， became more mature， and so did the story - the questions These last few volumes feel like a completely different story than the one I remember from the initial chapters， and truth to be told， part of me still doesn't know how I feel about it。 We've come a long way from fighting and killing Titans that seemed like the biggest threat and now we are witnessing a political turmoil， as well as internal struggle of characters while they wrestle with their humanity and morality。 Our heroes have grown， became more mature， and so did the story - the questions we are presented now are way too real and it's difficult to say who's right and who's wrong。 All the same， my boy Eren truly is slaying these past few chapters （hm， maybe it's due to the bun which， I confess， I'm totally digging， and he looks so much hotter now！ I mean， all of them do but you bet that my heart still belongs to Levi。。。） and I was saying it from the beginning that there must be something more， that he wouldn't just abandon his conviction， and mostly the people he cares about like family。 I was saying it from the start that he has a secret agenda and even though there were times where I was scared shitless that my boy is indeed a piece of shit， part of me refused to give up on him and I'm glad I didn't。 That being said， I can understand why some people might still find his goals problematic。 I'm beginning to see that there is no clear hero and no clear villain in this series; all the sides have committed way too many sins， have been brainwashed and manipulated so much over the years that it's impossible to cast the blame and judge only one faction or nation。 However， that just further emphasises the realness of this series， and it blows my mind with every new chapter - every new twist and revelation - and simply because of that， whether I am a huge fan of this arc or not， I will forever pronounce Attack on Titan as one of the most genius mangas of our time。 P。S。 Someone， please tell me what's happened to Levi， or I'm going to kick down Isayama-sensei's door！ P。P。S。 The ending of chapter 119 made me flip my lid and I sincerely apologise to my neighbours by scaring them shitless when shouting "MOTHERFUCKER！！" at the top of my lungs 🙏 That's just the usual reaction when reading this series。。。 。。。more
