Summary
Gabriel García Márquez nació en 1927， en Aracataca， Colombia， donde lo criaron sus abuelos。 En 1947 se matriculó en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Nacional de Bogotá y en ese mismo año se publicó en el diario El Espectador su cuento "La tercera resignación"。 Al año siguiente comenzó su actividad periodística como colaborador en el diario el Universal， de Cartagena， y desde entonces sus textos han aparecido en innumerables periódicos y revistas de diversos países。 En 1955 publicó su primer libro， La hojarasca， en el que ya bosquejaba el mundo fantástico de Macondo， cuyo esplendor lograría en Cien años de soledad。 Su brillante trayectoria literaria se vio coronada con el Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1982， luego de haberse consagrado como uno de los grandes escritores de la lengua española。

Fizzing with life， every few pages spin in many different directions。 Thematically there is a lot of problematic material which may have been more of a joke at the time， quite a speed bump。 I enjoyed the magical realism， there was very little of it and it fit the story pretty well。

Mind-blowing。 It can be seen as heavy reading （I myself had to read if for lit class in school and it wasn’t my favorite thing to do） but once you start understanding the exquisite story propelled by foreshadowing， you simply cannot dislike this book。 The characters are meticulously crafted， made to tell the story of the Buendía family， but also the story of Latin America in a way that’s subtle but obvious at the same time。 The magical realism is also a great tool used by Marquez to keep the rea Mind-blowing。 It can be seen as heavy reading （I myself had to read if for lit class in school and it wasn’t my favorite thing to do） but once you start understanding the exquisite story propelled by foreshadowing， you simply cannot dislike this book。 The characters are meticulously crafted， made to tell the story of the Buendía family， but also the story of Latin America in a way that’s subtle but obvious at the same time。 The magical realism is also a great tool used by Marquez to keep the readers engaged， with intriguing supernatural visits， ever-lasting illnesses and religious symbolism。 I’m not kidding nor exaggerating when I say that this book embodies my worst nightmare: loneliness。 Even though the characters were （almost） never physically alone， there’s always the inexorable solitude that haunts their minds; always the feeling that it’s them and the world。 。。。more

I usually love the classics， but this book is so boring， really！ I had to read with a print of the family tree in my hand （ which I totally recommend if you are reading for the first time）， but the thing is， the end is great but you can already understand the messege that the book wants to show in the middle of it， no need for more hundread pages。 the messege is really importante thats why people should read， but it be aware be awere that it is really dull。

بنظرم وضعیت فعلی ایران و در این کتاب دیدم。。جذاب بود وسطاش دلم می خواست زودتر به پایانش برسم ولی وقتی به اواخرش رسید ،دوست داشتم «هرگز » تمام نمیشد。
