I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in return for an honest review。This was such a cute book！ The illustrations are adorable and very colorful， my 6 month old loved looking at them。 And the story is inspiring and fun。 It’s a fun， short read perfect for a bedtime story。 I like books that are just as interesting for the adult as it is for the child and this hit the mark。 I’m now excited to read more of the series。

I never heard about Vivienne Westwood prior to this。 But I know I’d like her in real life。 She seems like a down to earth and kind person。 I love how these books bring to light the well know and maybe not as well know people in history。 The colors were bright and vivid。 The illustrations were cute。

Another great life summed up in a few pages to prompt further interest and question why certain people leave a more indelible impression on all our lives。 Little People， Big Dreams is a great concept for a book series and has undertaken biographies from figures in all walks of life。Vivienne Westwood is a fashion designer but came from working class beginnings in England。 A struggle at school， standing up to bullies and proud to be different and stand out。 She never lost sight of her ambition， to Another great life summed up in a few pages to prompt further interest and question why certain people leave a more indelible impression on all our lives。 Little People， Big Dreams is a great concept for a book series and has undertaken biographies from figures in all walks of life。Vivienne Westwood is a fashion designer but came from working class beginnings in England。 A struggle at school， standing up to bullies and proud to be different and stand out。 She never lost sight of her ambition， to study design and through clothes make our world a better place。 Heavily influenced by Punk she has always seemed to me out of time， ahead of her time in fact - and that has been captured in this book。This is why I like them so much and believe they enable young minds to read and learn without making judgements。 The words used are well chosen and crafted to sum up where others would fill pages:“Clothes became her way to protest about the things she didn’t like”。And as a nod to all the current awareness about climate change; before her time of Vivienne we read:“She encourages people to buy fewer clothes and wear them more often”。The other great bonus of this short book are the illustrations and colour palette which capture the essence of these unique character。 。。。more
