4。5 stars！this was so fun and just so cute。 the banter between lucy and josh was top tier！ i was nervous this was going to be overhyped， but this book definitely deserves the hype。

It really is a book with good narrative and writing。 At first I thought it was going to be a story a little deeper， but really in the end the only thing I thought was YOU ARE FUCKING ME， they literally finished the book in 15 pages， to the super badly done， no real depth was given to any of the characters， neither has their relationship and gave a pretty bad outcome， in other words they murdered the book at the end。

I did not like this book in the beginning， but it grew on me。 I almost stopped reading it because the characters were too immature for my liking but the second half of the book more than makes up for the first half。

I loved， loved this book。 I couldn’t stop reading it。 Any chance I had， I would pick it up even if it was for a few pages。 The one thing I found intriguing was the competitive nature between Lucy and Josh。 Lucy trying to figure out what Josh was up to and Josh trying figure out what Lucy was up to。 It was hilarious at times while being heartfelt at other times。 Always wondering what was going to happen next。

I absolutely loved this book。 It was an easy read， and so fun！ I went through it in two days because it was such a fun-loving read with a GLORIOUS enemies-to-lovers trope。 If you’re looking for an easy， beach-type read with a compelling romantic plot， this is the book for you。

Lucy Hutton has hated Josh Templeman since their companies merged and they've had to share an office。 They play games with each other， such as The Staring Game， all day long， each trying to gain the upper hand， until it's announced that there's a new executive position opening， COO， and both of them are in the running for it。 Then it becomes a more important game: who can get the promotion。 Everything goes sideways， though， when Josh unexpectedly kisses Lucy in the elevator， and she realizes may Lucy Hutton has hated Josh Templeman since their companies merged and they've had to share an office。 They play games with each other， such as The Staring Game， all day long， each trying to gain the upper hand， until it's announced that there's a new executive position opening， COO， and both of them are in the running for it。 Then it becomes a more important game: who can get the promotion。 Everything goes sideways， though， when Josh unexpectedly kisses Lucy in the elevator， and she realizes maybe she doesn't hate him after all。 Now they're playing a new game， and Lucy isn't sure what the rules are or whether it's better to win or lose。I really， really wanted to like this book。 I'd heard good things about it， I love the idea of office enemies-to-lovers， but this book just wasn't it。 Maybe I've read too much fanfiction lately， but this book was literally just a collection of tropes， which I will list out for you here:1。 Enemies to lovers2。 Large， handsome， scary guy & teeny， cute， people-pleasing girl （also， you don't have to keep mentioning how small she is， we get it）3。 Girl gets sick， guy takes care of her4。 Fake date to a wedding （but actually a real date！） where they guy's ex is marrying his brother5。 He was actually in love with her the whole time and （shocker） never hated her！The plot is minimal （we never find out if Lucy actually gets the job）， the banter is so-so， the steamy scenes are just okay， and I didn't actually like either of these characters。 I found them both childish and wildly unprofessional， and even though the book is written from Lucy's PoV I had a hard time following the story and her thought process。 She goes from "I hate Josh" to "I'm standing outside Josh's building after a date with someone else and jumping into his arms" with no in-between and she keeps freaking out about everything。 The only part I liked was when she gave Josh's dad a well-deserved dressing-down， which was in the last 10% of the book。 Unfortunately， not a new favorite for me。 。。。more

Super hot。 Some of Josh’s behaviour is a little bit troublesome （don’t take someone’s phone while they’re in the middle of a conversation， tell the other person not to call again， hang up， and pocket the phone， that’s weird）， but I think he is decently complicated and Lucy stands up for herself。 overall I enjoyed this。 Anytime people wanna stop using the “tiny girl eats a lot” and “man is super humanly gorgeous” tropes would be great， though。
