Pretty intriguing。 Specially the cliffhanger。 Gonna read the next one。

This book was pretty good, although not quite as good as its predecessors in my opinion。 It was a little slower paced in the middle and I could guess most of what was going to happen before it happened。 However, predictability didn't make it bad; Shadowsight in particular had some really nice and unique chapters in this one。 I'm hoping the second half of this arc is just as good as the first one。 I'm pretty sure I guessed who the impostor was near the beginning of this book, so I'm looking forwa This book was pretty good, although not quite as good as its predecessors in my opinion。 It was a little slower paced in the middle and I could guess most of what was going to happen before it happened。 However, predictability didn't make it bad; Shadowsight in particular had some really nice and unique chapters in this one。 I'm hoping the second half of this arc is just as good as the first one。 I'm pretty sure I guessed who the impostor was near the beginning of this book, so I'm looking forward to finding out if I'm right。 。。。more

So far, I think this book is the best of the first three books。 All the plots are reasonable, and characters show their concern about things to make the whole situation complicated。And I especially appreciate the character growth。 I can really see how Rootpaw grow and be a mature cat with his own judgement。 I can't wait to find out how they are going to solve the code's problem。 So far, I think this book is the best of the first three books。 All the plots are reasonable, and characters show their concern about things to make the whole situation complicated。And I especially appreciate the character growth。 I can really see how Rootpaw grow and be a mature cat with his own judgement。 I can't wait to find out how they are going to solve the code's problem。 。。。more

Graystripe is one of the two characters who has been around since the very first book, the other being Mistystar who has probably lost a life or two to old age。 I love how Squirrelflight stepped up and acted as the leader in the rebel camp and will be acting leader in the rest of the arc (hopefully!)。 It is interesting how Firestar's daughter is the acting leader and how his daughter's kit is the acting deputy。 I don't think a Clan has stayed in one family for so long。 I just wish "Bramblestar" was killed for two reasons。 The first being he's irritating and not really the best leader, even when the imposter wasn't in his body。 The second is that Squirrelflight would make a fantastic leader and I just want to see that happen。 Is that too much to ask for? Evidently yes, it is。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 You know, at first I thought this evil spirit taking over Bramblestar’s body plot was a little cheesy, but it’s gotten stronger and better as the story goes on。 This book is improved over the previous two Broken Code books。I suspected something weird about Spiresight, and the fake Bramblestar confirmed this a little。 And now I’m super convinced fake Bramblestar is Ashfur。 And I’m also convinced Mistystar is being influenced as well due to the ending of this book。Time to see if I’m right!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book。 I think where the Broken Code thrives is with it's cast of main characters, who all share an important role in the story and all have distinct personalities。 This, along with the imposter, really helps keep the story engaging。My favourite character was definitely Brsitlefrost; she had to do all these bad things to pretend she supported 'Bramblestar', while also secretly fighting against him。 Even though Bristlefrost was great, there was some things she di I was pleasantly surprised by this book。 I think where the Broken Code thrives is with it's cast of main characters, who all share an important role in the story and all have distinct personalities。 This, along with the imposter, really helps keep the story engaging。My favourite character was definitely Brsitlefrost; she had to do all these bad things to pretend she supported 'Bramblestar', while also secretly fighting against him。 Even though Bristlefrost was great, there was some things she did that didn't really make sense。 The main example is when (view spoiler)[she confesses that she loves Rootspring out of nowhere, despite basically not thinking about him/their relationship at all in this book and showing no signs of returning his affections in the last book (hide spoiler)]。 Another problem in this book is the characters' lack of caring about what is happening, despite that certain events should DEFINATELY have more of an impact on them。 One example is (view spoiler)[ when Thriftear, Bristlefrost's sister, is exiled。 Sure, she can't SHOW that she cares, but she doesn't even think about it once。 (hide spoiler)]There's also straight up a major battle with many losses, and the only reaction a character gives is 'oh no!'。Anyways, despite those few things, I would suggest reading this book。 It was a really solid addition to 'The Broken Code'。 。。。more

I didn't like this one as much as I liked the first two。 It felt like a filler and it kept going in circles。 Half of the book is spent with the cats deciding weather they should kill the imposter or not - and it just got boring and stale。 There are some interesting moments in there like Shadowsight being attacked and then being rescued by Rootpaw who then finally earns his warrior name and the final battle- but I just didn't really care for this one。 I didn't like this one as much as I liked the first two。 It felt like a filler and it kept going in circles。 Half of the book is spent with the cats deciding weather they should kill the imposter or not - and it just got boring and stale。 There are some interesting moments in there like Shadowsight being attacked and then being rescued by Rootpaw who then finally earns his warrior name and the final battle- but I just didn't really care for this one。 。。。more

This is a great book。 It lets in so many details and secrets of the unknown but personally I hope the imposter is Darktail from the Dark Forest where all the stars and Bramblestars ghost is。

Ohhhh my goodness。。。 I know exactly who the imposter is。 Don’t read further if you don’t want possible spoilers if I happen to be right, just a theory though。Who’s the only other cat that’s loved Squirrelflight? The cat we know is willing to kill to get his way? The cat who has it out for Bramblestar and his kin more than any other? The cat who has icy blue eyes? The cat who belonged in the Dark Forest but didn’t go because StarClan thought he changed his ways?---Ashfur。 They’re all screwed!!!

This is the best book of this Warriors series so far。 It excites you knowing there will be a battle soon, you feel pity for characters as they get exiled and they don’t even know yet about the group of exiles in Shadowclan, and you feel so much anticipation just waiting and predicting to find out who took over Bramblestars body。 I flew through this book。 It only took me two days to read, partially because it isn’t long and partially because it was that good。 I can’t wait till the next book comes This is the best book of this Warriors series so far。 It excites you knowing there will be a battle soon, you feel pity for characters as they get exiled and they don’t even know yet about the group of exiles in Shadowclan, and you feel so much anticipation just waiting and predicting to find out who took over Bramblestars body。 I flew through this book。 It only took me two days to read, partially because it isn’t long and partially because it was that good。 I can’t wait till the next book comes out。 。。。more
