More characters are added。 Teams are being formed for the big competition。 The no-goodniks are doing bad things and making our hero do some work。A little better than the prior book。Worth reading。

I've become a fan。 I enjoyed volume 1 and have to say volume 2 did not disappoint。 I found the new characters welcome and interesting and certainly expect to see more of them and their various schemes and shenanigans。 If you've managed to get to volume 2 you already know this is certainly a harem series so I'll only say this: if you don't like harem, you probably aren't going to like Asterisk。 If that aspect doesn't bother you there is some interesting stuff going on that might make it worth a r I've become a fan。 I enjoyed volume 1 and have to say volume 2 did not disappoint。 I found the new characters welcome and interesting and certainly expect to see more of them and their various schemes and shenanigans。 If you've managed to get to volume 2 you already know this is certainly a harem series so I'll only say this: if you don't like harem, you probably aren't going to like Asterisk。 If that aspect doesn't bother you there is some interesting stuff going on that might make it worth a read。Verdict: If you liked vol。 1 or are just interested in the general idea of the storyline -- Asterisk War is a light, easy read that still manages to build a new world that I find interesting。 。。。more

My rating for this book!!I chose this rating because I like the story。 I did not know that Anime, Mangas, and light novels could be so cool。

More storyI picked up the first book because I wanted more of the anime, but I'm not expecting another season。 So far the LN still has not caught up the the anime, but they're different enough that they're still quite enjoyable。 I'll be moving onto volume 3 soon。 More storyI picked up the first book because I wanted more of the anime, but I'm not expecting another season。 So far the LN still has not caught up the the anime, but they're different enough that they're still quite enjoyable。 I'll be moving onto volume 3 soon。 。。。more

A bit better than the first book as a lot of new characters are introduced。 It's an easy read。 This series is not the best ln series around but it's entertaining。 A bit better than the first book as a lot of new characters are introduced。 It's an easy read。 This series is not the best ln series around but it's entertaining。 。。。more

Later adapted into the next 3 episodes of the first cour of Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, the 2nd light novel continue to be solid with the introduction of preciously adorable Kirin Toudou。 Though this wasn't as strong as the last volume due to a slightly slower pace (I finished this relatively quickly despite that) and Kirin's slight over-sexualization, I still found the LN to be entertaining nonetheless。The Phoenix Festa is upcoming next time, and I'm curious to see if that arc will be better to rea Later adapted into the next 3 episodes of the first cour of Gakusen Toshi Asterisk, the 2nd light novel continue to be solid with the introduction of preciously adorable Kirin Toudou。 Though this wasn't as strong as the last volume due to a slightly slower pace (I finished this relatively quickly despite that) and Kirin's slight over-sexualization, I still found the LN to be entertaining nonetheless。The Phoenix Festa is upcoming next time, and I'm curious to see if that arc will be better to read than to watch (as it got stale after a while in the anime)。 It's going to be a bit of a wait though。 。。。more

This could truly be subtitled "Tropes: Light Novel Edition。" However, I must give Miyazaki credit for creating some really despicable characters in Ernesta and Kirin's uncle - he does have a gift for that。 Now if only that gift could be applied to plot and description as well。。。 This could truly be subtitled "Tropes: Light Novel Edition。" However, I must give Miyazaki credit for creating some really despicable characters in Ernesta and Kirin's uncle - he does have a gift for that。 Now if only that gift could be applied to plot and description as well。。。 。。。more
