If you are a seven year-old boy who longs to have super powers （like my son）， Epic Zero is a must-read。 For the past three months we have been blasting through this six-book series and my son has been engaged by every page。 Before every cliffhanger （there are many）， he insists on presenting his theories and soliciting mine for what might happen next。 We like that there are visual character profiles at the end of each chapter。 One quibble: there are so many amazing comic book artists out there， w If you are a seven year-old boy who longs to have super powers （like my son）， Epic Zero is a must-read。 For the past three months we have been blasting through this six-book series and my son has been engaged by every page。 Before every cliffhanger （there are many）， he insists on presenting his theories and soliciting mine for what might happen next。 We like that there are visual character profiles at the end of each chapter。 One quibble: there are so many amazing comic book artists out there， we both feel the character renderings could be "cooler。" Some feel under-drawn and visually a bit underwhelming。 All-in-all， a great series that kids can really relate to。 。。。more
