This was so hard for me to get through for some reason。 I had to force my way through this。 The formatting of the book is nice。 I love when contemporary pictures are included。 But I can safely say I did not have any fun with this book。 Felt like work。

Amazing women from all over the world and different fields are highlighted。 Hopefully some day women and their accomplishments will no longer need to be highlighted because they will be accepted as common place。

There were some women， like Wilma Rudolph and Wang Zhenyi， who I was glad to learn about for the first time。 Still， I feel like if they were going to feature American and British suffragettes they should also have included Kate Shepard who helped make New Zealand the first country where women could vote。
